feelamong: I was faced with this dilemma sometime last year when i did some research and saw how much i lost holding Tbills when I should have switched to Eurobonds shortly before the last devaluation of Naira.
However we all need to understand some things, we might never see another major devaluation of up to 100% like we saw the last time, but over time stats have shown that we are all far better off holding dollars.
What i did was to move 40% of my Liquid assets to Eurobonds, while keeping the remaining 40% in Treasury Bills and 20% in Mutual funds.
In the short term, you will be lucky to get up to 10% return in Eurobond..(I was lucky to buy Fidelity bank Eurobond at 10.5% yield) from what i see now its about 8% now. However you can sleep well knowing that the fear of Devaluation will not affect you that badly if and when it comes...however, you will not get up to the 18% we got from Treasury Bills sometime ago.
So my advise is that, it is good for everyone to have some of his liquid assets in Dollars Investments and Eurobonds is the place to be.
If you are also like me that enjoy taking risk....buying Bitcoins is another way to diversify away from Naira (This is a risky bet though) Do you know any investment house or bank that we can buy Eurobonds or that offer dollar investment? |

FYsol: Sorry about your brother's refusal @IamR , From what i could gather, it is apparent your brother is a high networth individual. DM me so that I can guide you how I changed my purpose of visit from just a vacation that earned me a refusal to exploratory visit where I stated boldly I am interested in becoming a Permanent Residence but needed to come around to explore business opportunities. Ok, thanks. Yes, he is. |

jarmy: Thanks for your response. A man is polygamous by nature. Any man that sticks only to his wife is sacrificing for his marriage and keeping to his marital vow.
That said, may I ask, what is the savings for and is oga aware of this? What stops women from being polygamous in nature? |

Good luck! My brother is in a similar situation. The conference he wanted to attend started on Monday and it will end next week Thursday. It is a reapplication and we want to withdraw it to avoid another refusal since the conference has started. Do you know the procedure to withdraw application that its review of eligibility has not started since 16/05/2019 or can we send withdrawal email to the provided email addresses? Thank you. |

He applied on 16th of May. It's a reapplication. We thought since the event might have passed by the time review of eligibility would start and this could cause him another refusal. Thank you. |

Can a TRV be issued when the date of the conference my brother wants to attend remains 4 days or if it has passed can it still be approved? He reapplied on 16/05/2019, his application is still at background check for more than 6 weeks processing time? Thank you. |

Please I need your assistance. I have 3.17/5.0 in Educational Management and I want to do PGD in Educational Management or Administration. I have searched many schools and colleges but couldn't find PGD. I don't think my CGPA can be accepted for Masters, that is why I have been searching for PGD. If you know any college or university that offers this course with January/February 2020 intake, kindly share it with me. Thank you all. |
