I don't have any experience because I have never dated any foreigners. Every individuals have different preferences. I perfer to date a nigerian guy, preferably a guy from port harcourt. My 2 cent doesn't really matter because some look at me and immediately thinks I can never date a nigerian. My problem is the way most nigerian guys treat nigerian girls in the western world compare to the way they treat foreigners; in terms of dating/relationship. I believe most nigerian/african guys treats foreigners like gold. And some of the foreigners can be very nasty to the nigerian guys but yet they treat 'em like gold. When dating a nigerian girl, it's like the nigerian guys has no respect for her ...... he treats her more like dirt. It's just my opinion. Regards, IB 1 Like |

Guys, am not that hot...it's just a nice picture. FYI, I was never a model. I was kind of into it when I was in high school and younger because people always tell me, I could be one. I had compliments about my brown skin, my body and even my height. I ain't that tall but not short either just o.k..... 5'4" Regards, IB |

Yes, it's my hair, you can see for yourself if you want..... I did try the modeling thing but I only got $1000 from a local agency and I was missing school a lot. It was too stressful for me plus some agencies said "am only 5'4" Regards, IB |

I am not an expert in relationship advise but if he didn't want to commit then why take him back now? You said he's been trying to talk to you. Is he willing to commit ? If not, forget about him and move on with your life. I had to end my relationship in October after 6 years too; although it wasn't about commitment because we lived together for more than 5 years. So if you feel he's wiling to commit now then you gotta weigh your optons. Being in love with him while he might not been in love with you only hurts the heart. It takes 2 to tangle. My 2 cents on this is that he's jealous of you bcuz you found someone else who's willing to commit; you have to take care of you first. Regards, IB |

I am very heart broken today and I have gone into isolation bcuz I'm pissed ~ no beef toward the girls he cheated on me with both here and in nigeria ~ am angry at myself for staying in the relationship for 6 years. Now tell me who the heck was giving her our #s? Huh? We both decided to move in together in 2000 never engaged never married because I don't believe in it ~ american lifestyle y'all know... Not only did I had to put up with his cheating here w/other girls {which he says it's all in my head but I got voicemails to prove it.... I also saw him with another female in his car}...... I had to put up with the girl in nigeria. Make no mistake about it's been long since I visited nigeria. So the girl in nigeria thinks I'm "BLACK AMERICAN." Because I loved him so much, I thought we could make it work. He gave me excuses upon excuses, saying he doesn't know her, he had party in his parents house when he visited in 1996 and met alot of people and she might be one of them but nothing serious, she was his high school girlfriend...... blah blah blah It took me this long to realize that I deserve better. I never had the courage to break. And I must confess breakups hurts so bad especially first relationship and first breakup. I can't even cry anymore. Once again, my advice to you is split from her. My new year resolution is to get over my break up. I ended my 6 years relationship in October. I decided to go into isolation bcuz my heart is broken. I have cut off from literally the world. First relationship, first breakup... it is very hard, thats' why am on this forum more often and am having fun with the topics, reading different opinions and views. The new year will be more about me, me, me, myself and I. Definitely staying away from guys and more travelling.... Regards, IB |

The answer to your question is NO if and only if I am going to the following places/events: evening parties ~ dinner, birthdays, club; work; shopping ~ department stores or malls. I don't go on dates but if I were to go on a date I will definitely put some makeup. There are many other places I go without putting any makeup; i.e banks, school, grocery shopping, etc. FYI, I don't put too much makeup on. I put so that it enhances my beautiful skin and so it brings out my natural beauty. Some females just put way too much makeup then it makes 'em look like something else. Regards, IB |

[b]Guys..... it's "Dressing 101." Wearing improper attire to a proper occassion is indecent dressing. I agreed with an author on this forum who said "different occassions calls for different dressing." As a female, I am disgusted to see some females dressing improperly even when there is no occassion. With respect to the ladies in nigeria, I must say..... some females in nigeria has taken fashion to another level by trying to immitate the western world. Ladies, if we want guys to respect us, we have to dress respectfully. When I go to work, my dressing is biz casual sometimes suits. When I go to evening dinners is gowns or short dresses that shows my figure w/skin showing and my hair either down or pulled up. When I go to birthday parties is either sexy dresses that shows my figures with skin showing or a top w/short mini-skirts with or without high knee boots. Now when I go clubbing with my girls, it's once again either short skirts or jeans; 75% is jeans with sexy tops without my boobs hanging out.....
