Sai baba say recession need to wise up biko.. tnx for the post
teeono64:
Guys na wa oo, it seems the recession is biting harder. I have been hearing that all telcos may increase data price or reduce the data on current prices.
I don’t know how long it’s going to be, but my plan is to make use of the accumulating validity period on my data sub to subscribe ahead in order to gather as much data as I can.

For example, on my mtn line, I intend to do 110 to 131, that’s 3.5GB for 30 days at N2000. I fit close eye do N6000 worth, that's 10.5GB spread for 90days to be on the safe side.

What do you think guys? For real the panic buy is worth it for me because I don't know how much data will be chopped off the current prices.

Don't say you were not told oo..
Politics / Re: Soldiers Take Over Lagos, Many Wounded As Transport Workers Clash by IbadanHome: 2:24pm On Nov 23, 2016
Wia
Opeedo:
Soldiers have reportedly taken over Oshodi, a major metropolis of Lagos following a clash that occurred between rival groups of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW).

The Nigerian Tribune reports that the clash occurred between the night of Tuesday, November 22 and the early hours of Wednesday, November 23 at the Bolade area of Oshodi leaving many with various degrees of injury.

Soldiers have been deployed to the Oshodi area of Lagos as factions of NURTW clash
When the battle raged on on Tuesday, a team of anti-riot policemen reportedly dispersed them. However, they were said to have regrouped Wednesday wielding and freely using various dangerous weapons.

One of the factions was said to be loyal to Talo Skibo while the other faction is belongs to be owned by a popular Lagos resident nicknamed Bush.

The hoodlums were further said to have clashed with the soldiers who attempted to resolve the crisis thus causing serious confusion and fear.

It is not known what actually caused the clash, but the soldiers were still in the area at the time of this report.

IamPatriotic:
This overrated Akeredolu has nothing to offer,I pray he doesn't win, we are focusing on why Jimoh Ibrahim should not be Governor, without asking ourselves who we really want as our Governor in Ondo State, Akeredolu is not it at all.
Imagine a SAN campaigning with loafs of bread, no issues, no substances, Politics is cursed.

somebody1234:
I have a bsc in computer Engineering and a masters in information techology with distinction and have CCNA and Itil certification finished school when i was 20 years early and worked for telecoms company.

I joined my company 4 years ago hoping to be a technical support specialist, this was my job position in my previous company, but along the line i was told i will be a junior project manager.

I was first drafted to a Junior project manger role, this made me acquire the PMP and prince2 certification.
Before long the project administrator was fired and i began to do admin stuff. Although I shadow my technical colleagues do work and even relieve them when on leave on technical matters.
t is not like when this is your main work. My colleagues dont even want me to know much because they want to be relevant and in charge.

It is really affecting me and becoming a growing concern. It just so fustrating, although i give my best to the admin job and no one even knows I am frustrated. friends and colleagues think all is fine

I dont see myself acquiring skills that can put food on the table, what i basically do is draft letters, reports, print, photocopy, create invoice, manage the office sharepoint and purchase office supplies.
which to be honest do not require specialised skills. I am just worried, i dont see any special skills been added to me. it is like am not growing and learning anything for the past 4 years, other than the pmp and prince2 certification i acquired
i dont see any additional benefit.

The funny part is the pay is not so bad i go home with 387k every month exluding benefits and bonuses.

As a man i always believe one should always learn a skill in event of a job loss he would be able to establish himself from that skill. This admin is not a man job, plus you find yourself being distracted and doing
stuff for others instead of yourself.

I have tried to apply for various jobs in other places even for lower pay, but they have not been invited me for any interviews. Even applied for PM jobs, no calls. And IT is something you need to move with
else you become rusty as technology changes daily.

Am getting married soon and think career is something i need to address before settling down.

I am very grateful to God, I have a job, but for how long will i be like this, no growth prospect, just leaving and resuming i feel very empty.

Am not lazy, i have a vision for my life and i work with towards my goals.

Can someone in the house give me some tips as am getting frustrated. I am even thinking of starting a business, but the truth is that is suppose to be a side hustle.

I currently work in Lagos.

Phones / Re: See The Fastest Night Data Plan Browsing And Downloading Network Currently by IbadanHome: 7:59am On Nov 12, 2016
i Dont have issue's using MTN sha..i upgraded to 4G and am enjoying the speed...

INCREDIBLEGUY:
cheesy cheesy grin grin
Now, after recently evaluating and using the night data plans of all
the networks this month, we made lots of observations; for
example, the MTN night data plan that we mentioned above that
used to be very fast with downloading has really slowed down
lately.
Etisalat has always been good for fast browsing, but I can tell you
that even their night data plan currently is not the best and fastest
for downloading.
Glo on the other hand despite being the grand master for data
allocation, their night data plan is also not the best for
downloading.
And finally we believe you already know the answer and yes Airtel
is currently the fastest network you should bank with that
currently offer the fastest night browsing and downloading, at
least, you can be sure of 5-7mb/s stable download speed, which
you can hardly obtain from those other networks.
