The major problem we having in this country is the north and not Islam perse, because we have Islam in the western Nigeria and yet they are not as violent as these illiterates in the north. Usually,whenever there are crises in the north,their leaders will use those illiterates around them to manipulate them to their advantages thereby having religions colouration.

If u say it is Islam,why don't we have crisis in Niger republic, Senegal, Gambia and even Ivory coast because these people are very educated and could decipher what is wrong from what is right. However,the entire north west lies the problem of this country take it or leave it.

I was on this antibiotics since two weeks now and it really made me experience extra morning sicknesses (guys will understand) so we kept communication every now and then while she was away.

Thanks a lot. I never really considered Abuja, but a course mate of mine hinted about knowing persons that can help secure additional job with salary and accommodation. Thus the reason i am considering it. How developed is Kebbi State by the way?

Kebbi isn't like Lagos,apart from the state capital and other border towns they are more agrarian...and that is why food items are cheap. But as an intending corps member, take note that dry season is very,very extreme. Wish u the best!

My brother,same thing happened to my younger brother after school his friends went into yahoo in Lagos some were doing all kinds of sacrifice with animals just to get people pay in money,one day he called me if I would allow him join them.

I bluntly refused that he should just relax...that one day things will certainly get better,after some months I relocated him to where i am staying. And finally he now works with wonderful organization and after many countless interviews and a job loss.

Just calm down,u will even forget this day when things gets better for u.

I reside in Abuja but I will never advice u to serve here cos at the end of the day u might go home empty...accommodation is the highest in the (expensive) country.
In fact,except u have uncles that will assist u generously.
Despites my stay in Abuja,I refused to serve here because I wanted to have beautiful experience of the scheme so,I decided I was going to allow NYSC to post me to any state of their choice.

And this happened to be kebbi state...we were given accommodation, the school were fond of making food items available to us, and interestingly, I saved every dime I was making coupled with dashes here and there from our head teacher and principal and vice.

The money I made in that state with the little I had in my savings in 2009/2010 has helped me tremendously today.

My advice therefore is that; kebbi state is the only state in North West of Nigeria that is most peaceful and free of extremism. But another state is Plateau the coolest and the sweetest food is way cheaper and affordable. Consider these two.

Na so. Even the writer of the book "Rich dad, Poor dad" a book teaching about making money but he only actually made money by selling this book. The stories in the book was a fiction.

The story was not a fiction I chose to disagree with u...it was more practical and real. Example,was the part where he and Mike learnt how to work without money from his rich dad and where he sat with many of his rich dad's accountant.
The problem generally is that,what makes him rich might make another poor just like we used to say,invest based on ur risk appetite.

Dear nairalanders, I need you honest advice on what to do. I am still a young man and any mistake now will have a grave effect on my future. So please, help a brother.

Be objective and consise please. It is a long narrative.

I have a girlfriend whom I have been dating for up to 10 months now. She has all the qualities of wife, friend and a partner. I mean, she prays for me, supports me and do many things that places her above average.

I've two issues that are bugging me;

First is, I just graduated from the University and started to follow the road map I designed for my life. I am hardworking, so I started doing business immediately after my defense. Interstate exports of perishables. While I was in school, I made a lot of money doing designs for students; I am a UI/UX designer. The problem here is that I can't account for all those monies I made. A lot of expenses especially for my girlfriend. Even till now, I am supposed to send her some money but will I continue like this? I need stability in my business and need to save more and need capital for the last mile logistics company I want to set up next year.

Second issue is; I recently returned from an event I attended in Lagos some days ago, I came back very late and was grossly tired. While we were chatting, she asked me some questions which I told her I was very tired and eventually, I slept off. My phone beside me till the next morning. Fast forward to yesterday, I told her of my intentions to concentrate more in building for the future - it doesn't mean our relationship would be off. She started asking questions like "do you need some space?" "Am I bugging you?" She also said I don't "speak her language enough" language here is bonding, intimacy and closure. I was surprised at her response.

I noticed she'd be online for a long time and won't reply me on time, so I asked her who she was chatting with and she replied someone. I ignored her. This morning she called, while we got talking I asked her about the person she was chatting with. She told me the guys name. And asked if I will forgive her of anything, I said yes. She now said, she was introduced to the guy and they got flirting from the day I came back from my journey and told her I was tired and needed to rest. Her excuse was that, I pushed her to and she just wanted someone to speak/talk to.

Now, my question is, Should I move on with my business and focus, or, should I continue with the relationship? I don't want to be with someone that gives up on me easily.

P.S I love her so much. And she does too. We've through a lot together.

This is my story and I will appreciate if the mods can push it to front page so that others can read and learn from me, and I also need your honest comments and advice because you could be saving a drowning man.

I Am 29 years of age, a civil engineer by profession and a sanguine by temperament. Before my youth service @ age 24 I got my girl friend pregnant and I was scared of abortion so we decided to keep the baby with the full support of my mother and she agreed because I was an only son. After that, we proceeded to see her people with my mum and relatives to my girl friends village and we paid something on her head but didn't complete the whole traditional right, but this was not even the traditional wedding proper.

After that we saw ourselves as husbands and wife and we were living fine for sometime. After sometime, the relationship took a different turn as we were always fighting and didn't agree on even the slightest matter. I remember vividly one occasion we fought over a female colleague @ work who sent me a whatsapp message and why we fought was that she came to my work place and fought the young lady openly embarrassing me in the process in front of everyone.

There were times I would try to reconcile but she would blatantly refused, sometimes she will tell me she is fed up of this thing we call marriage and that she's looking for someone that I too should look for someone else.

Fast-forward I met a lady and one thing led to another and I started picking interest in her. It was never my intention to be with another woman but I don't have peace of mind and I feel I am loosing my mind.

Note: I haven't wedded in a church before or done a full traditional marriage. Here comes the question: would it be considered a divorce if I quit this union and marry this new lady?

I am full of unhappiness and pain and I don't want to live a life of endurance and pity. Pls nobody should pressure you into getting married, marriage is not a license to live a happy life. If you are single, I envy you.

Marriage is the greatest gift God instituted for mankind and I wished I was married to same woman earlier.

I am sincerely sorry for what u are going through, but I have never seen anyone that kept his marriage vow and still complain of his spouse. The day u break ur vow comes distrust and unhappiness and that is why marriage is a special thing God made for human beings and not like relationship.
My brother based on experience, I will never take side until the other person is heard,that is ur wife. Most ladies are going through hell in some marriages and that is the more reason why I will advice that u work on ur marriage.
