I swear suppose I non de Naija, I for think say na another country una de talk about. Check listing sites before you reply me, most 1.5m are for detached duplexes. Most people who can afford to rent a duplex are more likely to be able to afford to build their own house.
Housing for 3 bedroom in kubwa, Ajah axis is way less than that 1.5m. Ibadan is far cheaper. Abi make all of us relocate to garki Abuja.t

I live in Kubwa Arab road where u can get more than 24hours electricity and the two bedroom I live is highly comfortable for me and my family of two,compared to the one I lived in earlier,water is constant, light is steadier,close to the major express road,prepaid is running smoothly and in all of this,I pay just N650k.
I prefer to remain a tenant for another five(4) years before I would move to my personal house.
For those saying we need 40k per day to live a comfortably, I say no no no to that because living well is a relative term which could mean sleeping around and spending recklessly and for me,might be living according to my set goals.
However, I want to use this opportunity to beg all the big guys in this house to pls,desist from calling humongous figures like the one above,reason being that we have people who are earning far less than this figures and continuous use of this supposed figures send a bad signal to smaller investors amongst us.

That's a subtle way of telling her to pack out. But I've always been discussing this with my friend, I can't pay more than 500k rent to any landlord in Lagos.....even if I'm earning millions monthly. Is better to stay in a room and parlour self-contain or two bedroom flat.... While working on building yours, than just cross leg in a rented apartment and paying exorbitant fees for a temporary luxury that can come to end at any time.

I used to make comments like this in past but my brother,sometimes when u compare certain logistics u will have no other option but to stay put in a rented apartment pending when things gets better.

My younger brother met this Lady in my house,in 2016 during my daughter's child dedication. And funny enough my younger brother was a broke guy with absolutely nothing to his name, not even 1k in his acct. Even at that this lady liked him and eventually,they started dating and the first gift he gifted the innocent lady was the money he borrowed from me. It got to a time I told my brother to look for what he will learn so that he will not be looked down on completely.
In summary, people were mocking him especially for not working and depending on the innocent lady and me for assistance. Today,he has got a job,bought a car,moved to a better house,travelling round Nigeria on the job with nice DTA's and their wedding is coming up January.

Are u a village man? I visited Abia some months back I just feel pity for ur kind of person that feeds on crumbs just to hail a failed governor. The road connecting ur state Govt house is in terrible condition,I personally drove around that area and I was ashamed of ur Governor.

Base on recent account of event in that state,ur Governor is owing pensioners close to 1year plus and still owing workers of various state ministry and worst hit amongst them are teachers.

Is a pity that people without conscience still worship a man that has failed woefully. Go to Kebbi state and see what the governor has achieved...the state alone has the best locally produced rice in the country and many more. Their rice is found every where in Nigeria. Which one has ur state governor done to ease unemployment? nothing but a project that is not up to500 square metre of land is still not completed since taken office. The reason why I used Kebbi state as a case study is because that state generate little from IGR,get little also from Federal govt compare to Abia that generate more from IGR,is also member of oil producing state and still get from the Federal revenue and get from NNDC.
