sleekdot:I have no problem except your attempt to paint Guardiola as the making of Xavi. Barcelona can never attempt to sell Euro 2008 Player of the Tournament even if mugu Rijkaard had wanted to sell him before. The lies you are spinning here are akin to a new manager joining Man City, using Aguero to win league and then claiming he made Aguero just because Guardiola wanted to get rid of him last season. Some dickryder will then come and tell us that manager made Aguero and point to Guardiola trying to get rid of him as proof. This is similar to your lies that Spain used Guardiolas tikitaka format to become successful when Aragones had already implemented tikitaka to win Euro 2008 before Guardiola became manager. Stop telling lies and riding Pep dïck.

sleekdot:Xavi was the best player in Europe before Guardiola. I'm not interested in your transfer stories. I'm interested in your lies that Guardiola made Xavi. |
sleekdot:Barcelona can never sell a player who just won Euro player of the tournament. On the day Guardiola took his first training session, Xavi was the best player in Europe. So stop telling us stories like he was a nonentity before Guardiola. This is how you lied to us that Guardiola tiki-taka style influenced Spain National team when Luis Aragones had won Euro 2008 with tiki-taka before Guardiola started as a manager. |
sleekdot:You can lie oh. Before Guardiola became manager, Xavi had just won Euro 2008 and was voted best player of the tournament. |
I was hoping Bakanonsense really failed his medical sef. |
Mukina2, I am in. One-time league winner and two-time FA Cup winner reporting for action. Please send me the League and FA Cup codes to michaeljohans@gmail.com Thank you. |
Zouma loan fee is rumoured to be £7m. One more loan will pay off his transfer fee. |
hensben:Matic is gone. He refused to sign new contract. He is currently training alone which is the usual procedure for a player about to be sold, so as not to injure himself. So the midfield is Baka, Kante and Fab4. That's a bit light. I expect Baker will be the 4th player this year, although I feel Baker needs another loan to toughen up physically. |
airmark:As long as there is buyback, I'm fine with it too. |
Nemanja Matic the useless player got all the scouts recommending him. Not like those who only go to China, or the one that was in UEFA team of the year, only 22 years old, yet only Chelsea would be chasing him for £40m
|
Griffon:A club that had Mikel and Ramires manning midfield for 4 years (and soon to have Bakanonsense) can never claim Chalobah is not up to standard! |
Nihilist:Even if all the above is true, still better than Bakayoko. A midfielder that can't trap a ball? That's like a Harlem nigga with no bread. A Harlem nigga with no bread? That's like a pïmp with no hoes. Like Jewels without ice. China with no rice. Or the Holy Bible without Christ. A midfielder that can't trap a ball. That's like Harlem without Big L. |
Chalobah is better than Bakayoko. What a shame. |
airmark:That's a different one from oxygen. That's a concussion. I once took a standing concussion going up for a corner. It didn't knock me out but it wiped my memory completely for 30 minutes. We were playing far away in South West London, Berrylands, home of King's College, near Kingston to be precise. I travelled there from my home in Edmonton, North-Central. I let out a scream like someone bust my head open and I was gonna die. But I didn't fall. I kept on playing, and didn't even remember my name or who I am again. To cut a long story short, after about 15 mins, I realised I must be far away from home and didn't know where I would be going after the match as I forgot where I lived. The thought made me panic that my memory would never return so I started crying. That's when my teammates came and started reminding me of my name, what course I am studying, what year I am in etc. I was still crying though cos nothing could register. What made me calm down was I suddenly remembered that I had stopped by a family friend's house in Kingston on my way to the match, so I said worse case scenario, I will go to her house after the match, then she can call my people to come and take me home, and I would be straight from there. So I took heart and stopped crying. Slowly through the match my short term memory started returning, then eventually my long term returned also. By the time the match ended, I was back to myself fully. |
So many quack doctors in the house. Doctor done already tell Una say he collapsed with cardiac issue, the brain damage was a secondary problem caused by lack of oxygen to the brain after he collapsed. Una still dey speculate blunt trauma and neuro issues. I once knew a girl who was oxygen deprived during her birth. A very beautiful girl, but those few minutes of oxygen starvation meant she had no retentive memory. She could not remember what happened yesterday, and had to write everything down to recall them, some of the basic things we take for granted. It was a sad situation cos this girl fine pass Beyonce and Alicia Keys put together. |
Bimffo:Bakers only problem currently is physical. Speed and stamina lacking. |

Belotti plays like a young Tevez with more pace. I like him. |
airmark:Elijah Mohammed and Mohammed Ali advice and mentorship did not stop Mike Tyson from biting Holyfield ear. Make we just leave Aurier where him dey abeg. Trouble dey sleep, yanga go wake am. |
airmark:We don't need any Aurier. If you think Costa is a madman, try Aurier. Someone that can go on Snapchat and tell the whole world that his teammate is rubbish. Football is not computer game. There is something called personality that factors in. |
Ehiscotch:Tonye is only loyal to his stomach. He sings for whoever will pay him. |
Nihilist:Mukina2 done open thread? |
bigkesh:Morata does not have the passion of a striker. He is not ready to hustle to get to that ball by all means. My only hope is that can be developed in a player, depending on his mental make-up. Some players can turn to beasts overnight if you put them in a league where they have to embrace physicality. I still remember my first match in England having grown up playing monkey-post all my life. I could not believe football was played like this. Rest assured, by the next match, I was the most aggressive mudaphucka on the pitch. So you never know, Morata could become aggressive overnight once he lands in England. |
Griffon:The simple answer to all these questions is Rudiger is German and his role model is Boateng. That is like a red rag to a bull. Airmark being the bull. We will not take it! |
Correct me if I'm wrong but Christensen is a RCB. In that case I see Azpi going over to LCB to compete with Cahill cos that RCB is too populated. With all the CBs we now have, we coulda pushed Azpi to RWB to compete with Moses. |
hensben:Nope, Manolas is technically more gifted. Bear in mind, we are thinking about a back 3 that needs technically accomplished players. In a back 4, Kurt Zouma is a great defender. In a back 3, he is trash. The technique that would be required for a back 3 is what makes Manolas more desirable than Rudiger. Chelsea fans have to realise that Azpilicueta made the highest no of passes in the league last season bar none. That means the job of a back 3 defender is to help the midfield dominate possession as we play with only 2 midfielders. In terms of just defending, I probably rate them similar. Technique is the differential. |
sinizia:My post is for the Chelsea fans to gain insight on the Rudiger deal, not for that scumtwat. |
lordfalcao:Read and understand. Emenalo link is coincidental. Conte will not split hairs over Manolas or Rudiger. Either is good enough for him. He just needs an established defender. Same way he will not split hairs between Lukaku and Morata, he just needs a striker. My only point there is that Roma used Chelsea's long standing interest in Rudiger to sell us an unsellable asset while keeping the sellable one, not all this nonsense you are interpreting about Emenalo. Every clubs purpose in the transfer market is to keep their best assets and sell you their trash. We just should have stood firm and insisted on Manolas or nothing. As it stands, Roma will now sell Manolas next year without any problem, and for this year they have raised the same amount of cash by forcing us into a decision on Rudiger. If not that they played us, they would have had to sell their best defender (Manolas) this year to raise cash, and they would still struggle to find buyer for Rudiger next year with his injury history. We have solved their problems for them. Read and understand. airmark: |
Nihilist:Nah Rudiger can defend. This is an anomaly. My only koko is whether he is comfortable on the ball like you need in a back three. I know he can throw long passes but I doubt he can give-I-give like Azpi and them to help the two man midfield. |
PietroRico:That is how transfers work. It happens all the time. A club needing to sell a player to balance the books will offer you another player that they are happy to sell even though you approached them for a different player. It is not uncommon to go ask for example Monaco for Fabinho, and Monaco will respond saying actually we would like to keep Fabinho but we can make Bakayoko available for X amount. That's how Leeds phoned Man Utd to discuss Denis Irwin and before they knew it, Leeds intimated to them the availability of Cantona. I surmise that Chelsea made an enquiry for Manolas. Roma, knowing that Chelsea hold a long-standing interest in Rudiger took Manolas off the market and offered Rudiger instead which Chelsea were happy to go with because they need an established defender anyway. If they miss both Manolas and Rudiger, they might not find a defender till window close. It's like a barefooted person coming to your shop to buy shoe, but you offer him slippers instead because he is the only person that has ever shown interest in buying slippers. Meanwhile you know you can sell the shoe at any time because many people are showing interest in shoe. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2017/06/28/chelsea-may-move-hijack-kostas-manolas-26m-zenit-st-petersburg/ |
PietroRico:Nothing in-house here, unless you have been living under a rock. It is no secret that Rudiger was chased heavily by Emenalo in 2015 but Jose insisted on John Stones. http://www.eurosport.co.uk/football/premier-league/2015-2016/chelsea-transfer-news-chelsea-chase-stuttgart-s-antonio-rudiger_sto4806022/story.shtml |
airmark:Roma pulled a maga deal out of Chelsea on Rudiger. Roma needed to sell one of Rudiger or Manolas to balance the books. Roma could only flush out a bid for Manolas initially and none for Rudiger. When Manolas deal to Zenith fell through, Chelsea came asking. Roma knowing that Manolas will always have market asked them to buy Rudiger instead. Rudiger does not have market except Chelsea (Emenalo has been chasing Rudiger since 2014). Rudiger has also had 3 knee operations and has been having injuries since Stuttgart days which spoils his market. Win-Win for Roma, they now have a buyer for Rudiger and know they can also sell Manolas at any time since there is a big market for him. |
