Baba is probably in Tel Aviv right now till this blows over. One thing about the British is they are very democratic and investigate though and they don't like to be mocked. By Monday when Parliament opens, one or two committees will start investigating the charity and it's arrangements with Roman

statement by Abramovic :
During my nearly 20-year ownership of Chelsea FC, I have always viewed my role as a custodian of the Club, whose job it is ensuring that we are as successful as we can be today, as well as build for the future, while also playing a positive role in our communities. I have always taken decisions with the Club’s best interest at heart. I remain committed to these values. That is why I am today giving trustees of Chelsea’s charitable Foundation the stewardship and care of Chelsea FC.

I believe that currently they are in the best position to look after the interests of the Club, players, staff, and fans.

He is not selling Chelsea (case closed)
Not sure what this means. Does the charity have the money for the running costs?

Roman has always been proactive sha. Baba protected himself with Israeli citizenship and moving many of his interests to Israel years ago. He knew Putin was moving in an unfavourable direction

If Turkey show him sef go collect.
Turkey is no pushover. They are low-key rumoured to be a nuclear country. Ottoman empire and Russia have long history of wars going back two centuries. Russia know their strength that's why they didn't go gung-ho after Turkey shot down a Russian plane some years back. Turkey is also a NATO member. The world knows what Turkey is capable of, that's why they only do peacekeeping mission in Northern Cyprus. When a country is militarily weak, UN and co do full invasion of disputed territories to take it and give it to the country disputing it, but when the country is strong, they only do peacekeeping mission.

It gives a pointer as why the criminal has never given a public interview before. A look into his criminal enterprise and takeover of the steel and real estate business in Russia. He essentially used Chelsea for sportswashing.

I am sure you are basking on leftwing propaganda. Trump was also the first to collude with Russia and Russia hack the election. You still believe the democrats lies.

Obama at 2014 was sending blankets to Ukraine... Trump sent lethal weapons to the country.

Asking the country to fight corruption is the right thing to do.

Hong Kong, your type like LeBron James asked a coach to educate himself because he complain of China clamp down on protesters.

John Cena speak Chinese.

You yourself attacked trump for using the right term to label the virus, Chinese virus. But you and others still want to say trump didn't do anything.

He tried to put sanctions to weaken Chinese economy, yall call. Him racist, he tries to be friendly to deescalate tension, yall call him puppet.

Obama started this, the messed up syria, Yemen, Libya and Ukraine. You are not talking towards that aspect... Trump seem to give you sleepless nights. These did not happen under his watch. China and Russia, North Korea and others are only loud because the man in power seem to care more about the first transgender general than actually winner wars.

As for Europe, remember why they all hated trump? Cause he was speaking the truth. They don't want to spend, they don't want to do anything. Everything is on the shoulders of the US. UK stand up in WW2 but the spine they once have is not longer... They have woke fools from left to right.

UK, Germany, France and Italy are all a disgrace, even Belgium.

Hypocrites and spineless fools.

How they continue to depend on the enemy is beyond me. Greed. If they are not patronizing Russia, this won't be happening. They have time to look for alternatives, because they are greedy and stingy, they don't want to bare the cost. Look at Germany, trump stop pipeline he is a maniac, Biden stopped pipeline in his country and allow the enemy to have theirs now he is stopping it again. What for? Fools. China never start... It will be funny to watch how two eastern countries brings NATO to its knees because of stupid politicians.

Ibime love it or hate it, trump is better than the fools you have in Europe and the US right now. I am now thinking twice about traveling to these western countries as my planned trips in the coming months and years. Putin. Might nuke them at any time and get away with it.
You are rambling on what is in your head that nobody asked you.

with ISIS and separatist in the middle east, they don't need to fight their enemies directly, why didnt they bless Ukraine with lethal weapons to fight back?
I'm sure they've done so. I'm sure you remember that Trump was first impeached for denying Ukraine weapons unless Zelensky give up info he about Hunter Biden so he can use for smear politics. Playing petty attack politics with a war situation.

I would like a link to this story. Very interesting to know. You sef, knowing all these before hand, does it complicate the affection you have towards his nuturing of the club?
British press used to love writing on Berezovsky. Just Wikipedia him, it's all there. Beresovsky messed himself up cos he paid for Putin's election and brought him to power, but he started acting like Godfather telling Putin what to do and criticising him for being authoritarian. Roman outsmarted him in the relationship with Putin. When Putin wanted control of the TV channels so he could control the news, Roman bought the channels from Beresovsky and gave them to Putin. Beresovsky then sold all his Russian companies to Roman at knockdown price and ran to London. No oligarch is closer to Putin than Roman. I even think Roman is much much richer than what we see on Forbes. So much money in Russia is hidden. I don't see how someone with reported net worth of £10bln will blow £1bln of it on football. That guy got more than that.

Why should my affection for Chelsea be affected? Strong men own clubs everywhere.

Every three days, someone was being murdered.

Man is something else. I recall him denying going into partnership with a certain Boris, a friend of his. Even when they brought a tape recording evidence where he continually discussed with Boris about the aluminium using the word "We" rather than "I", Mr Abramovich told the court: "I always say 'We'. I don't like to say 'I'."

Man is cold blooded. No wonder no unsuccessful manager dey last for Bridge grin
Boris Berezovsky is Roman's mentor and fellow billionaire who claimed he gave Roman the money to buy Rusal and his name should be on the shareholding. That's what made Roman quickly sell his share in Rusal before Boris can come and claim it. Also when Boris fell out with Putin, Roman strongarmed him into selling his shares to Roman at knockdown price as he was fleeing Russia for his life. Putin sent agents to kpai the guy many times in London. He later died in mysterious circumstances.

800 people died in Russian Aluminium wars and Roman emerged victorious to control Russian Aluminium. When I read about the aluminium wars, that's when I start to fear that nigga. Sacking managers is nothing to a nigga who emerged victorious from that.

Hmmm! What if they seize and sell?
You can't sell what's frozen.

With sanctions, assets are always frozen, to be returned when sanctions are lifted and normal diplomacy resumes.

Will they fund the £50m-£100m needed to run Chelsea every year while in their possession? Countries freeze income generating assets, not the one that will hurt their pocket.

At most they can seize it and sell players periodically to ensure the P&L wash it's face every year till they return it.

China ended Hong Kong's autonomy during Trump Presidency and he didn't breathe a word. And Trumpanzees think Russia or China will call off their strategic goals based on the name of the US President?

Maybe having a mad man in power who could escalate any situation into nuclear war is the "deterrent" they believe that Putin would fear, while Biden is predictable like most US Presidents who would step back from the brink of a nuclear crisis with Russia. Trump that cancelled planned visit to Denmark because he made an offer to buy Greenland on Twitter and Denmark premiere laughed it off jokingly.

Putin's move to act now is based on Ukraine parliament voting to seek NATO membership in 2020. While Zendi points out it's an existential threat, is Russia sponsoring and organising a seperatist war in Eastern Ukraine since 2014 not an existential threat to Ukraine which prompted it to vote to seek NATO membership?

I believe nuclear powers should be allowed to breathe. International bodies should step in and seek a referendum in the Donbas and Donetsk regions and NATO should take Ukraine membership off the table. The world can't go to war over Western Ukraines wishes like in those days where they start World war over Poland and Czechoslovakia. Western Ukraine should be advised to let the Eastern part go if they vote for independence, but be bribed with open access to EU markets. Money solves all problems.

As for Taiwan, it belongs to China. The Chinese ruling party ran there taking China's federal reserve with them during Chairman Mao's revolution and declared an independent state. The West can bully and provoke but what's just is just, and eventually Taiwan must return to China. USA won't like it's ruling class running to Alaska with it's Federal Reserve and declaring a new country. China will not risk taking Taiwan now when it's growth is based on open trade though. That will be cutting your nose to spite your face. China will take Taiwan with no shots fired, when it holds enough economic leverage on enough countries in the world that they agree and recognise Chinese Taipei as a region of China. Of course, with the threat of a strong military acting as insurance.

Students of history will know that European countries have been holding conferences to delineate and merge their lands from Berlin conference to earlier conferences, whether it's splitting Prussia into parts that fell into Germany, Poland, Latvia and Lithuania, delineating Austria-Hungary, splitting Poland-Luthuania, or to the splitting of the Balkans in the 1990s or Montenegro and Kosovo in the 2000s, Europeans have been open to discussing borders. They should allow frank discussion with China and Taiwan in the same spirit, and also allow Africa to discuss its borders. Russia was always a winner in these historic discussions but lost it all at the break up of the Soviet Union. What Putin is doing is just trying to recover small grounds.
