Two things are non-negotiable in a DM, the ability to play a highline and have enough speed to track runners, and the ability to receive ball with back to opponents, and use half turn to evade the press. None of these skills are existent in Jorginho.

What Jorginho is good at is organising defence, intercepting balls in low block and positioning properly. Unfortunately, none of these are relevant for a team looking to go on the attack. Like a student who is good in geography sitting a Maths test.

Nothing I say here is out of bias. If a player doesn't have the fundamentals to play what we need to play, no need beating around the bush, he needs to go.
