Different opinions is part of what makes a Democracy, Members can actually disregard it but they are in the minority. In a committee of 15, what difference does it take when you have 3 dissidents? They get their say and eventually majority opinion rules

My colleague sent me a video on whatsapp few minutes ago, I watched and I am presently gutted at how some Nigerians really think

This guy joins a bus that has the Nigerian female football team ( super Falcons) on board and he flashes a camera at their faces calling them all sorts of derogatory names for representing a country led by "Buhari a terrorist". He claims he's a Nigeria who has lived in Vienna, Austria for years and calls them cowards for resprensting Nigeria that is governed by a terrorist and all.

I mean we even those of us who live in Nigeria that have felt the negative impact of Buhari's rule won't just embarrass fellow Nigerians trying to represent us out there. To think.some of those falcon ladies are some foreign based players with roots to Nigeria just trying to represent the country for pride like that Leicester lady that was recently called up to the team. I'm really embarrassed watching the video sef.

I no just know how some people reason o. Even at the height of abacha’s dictatorship when people were cooking with “sawdust stove “ , Nigeria was still represented at international sporting competitions and nobody blackmailed them for being cowards

If you live in Nigeria and you are here debating American politics with venom irrespective of the side you support and you have not registered to vote or do not have your PVC then you are a bloody hypocrite who lacks the ethical or moral compass to engage in such conversations.

Please, redirect your energy to registering to vote in the forthcoming elections (local/State and Federal) in Nigeria. After you register please, take it a step further by encouraging your friends and community to register. Then on Election Day, go out and cast your vote and resist the temptation to sell your vote for a small packet of garri/sugar and groundnut.

Nigeria is no longer dying a slow death, it has become a fast death with no reprieve. Leave American politics alone! If anything use the American experience to educate your community that voting with your conscience is the only way to effect change.
