Anyone is welcome to banter Obi, question his integrity, personality, performance as a Governor or any held position and I will have absolutely no problem. Infact, you can banter and ridicule his voice, shoe, wrist watch, it is all part of the game and as a politician Obi should expect it, he put himself out there like every other politician.

However, on a personal level, I will not tolerate or accommodate any attempt to ridicule Obi because he is "Igbo" or any agenda narrative around his tribe, whether hidden or obvious. The last time I checked, Obi is a candidate of a National Party with National following and is well within his constitutional right to vie for that office. Obidients do not represent the Igbo cause, they represent their own political ideology. This is the same way I have pushed back on the idea that IPOB represent Igbos and our collective cause.

Once again, let me be very clear, I don't care about Agendas against Obi nor Asiwaju nor Atiku, but please, refrain from making this about Obi being Igbo because we know where it will go and rest assured I will take PTO days for it and not back down.

Anyone who follows numbers can see clear signs of manipulation in Anambra Vs Lagos numbers with Lagos showing YEARLY growth and in line with economic conditions. Lagos shows only 2 years of fairly stagnant growth - 2009-2010 representing the banking tsunami and 2014-2015 representing the global oil crash. Theirs is a normal IGR in maturity phase and in line with macro economic conditions.

Anambra posts almost no YEARLY growth, only a manipulation at the start and end of Obis tenure.

Ontop of that Anambra was in its early growth phase during Obi tenure during which growth should be exponential. All states are about 4 to 5 years behind Lagos with Governors starting to copy Tinubus IGR model 4 or 5 years later and their growth percentage year on year should be as exponential as Lagos early years before reaching maturity.

IGR, Security Vote is a game for every Governor. Most add LGA allocation through their subservients in the LGA. These three is enough for any Governor to have generational wealth without even touching any kickback on contracts. In Obi case, he didn't even bother with LGA elections so was completely unaccountable with LGA allocations.

Tinubu is one of the only Governors that added brain to his IGR chopping by setting up managing agency so he gets rewarded (15% management fee) as IGR grows. That's why Lagos never fails to grow IGR stupendously year on year. Within that 15%, all the party ground structure is working for him and getting paid as tax collectors, hence he is an eternal Godfather.
