In warzone reporting, you either report from a demilitarised zone or embed yourself within an army a good distance from the front line where probability of harm has been checked. The commander is aware a journalist is with them and if situation changes rapidly, they are withdrawn to the back.

Al Aqsa TV (literally owned by Hamas and named after the destruction of Israel) journalists will be doing Guerilla journalism, ducking and diving with Hamas terrorists while they are under fire.
