Police system in Nigeria is generally known to be unserious and corrupt, also on top of general attitude, take into account how the lack of resources, level of expertise and likely outcome of an investigation would impact whether they bother to take it seriously or not. So I won't use their system as a representation of how people would handle it, too many other factors

If you were to compare the reactions of the average Nigerian to a victim of confisacted land and rape, do you think their immediate feeling and the way they respond would have the same level of sensitivity and empathy for both victims?

Would the response be geared more towards trying to find out how the victim may have caused it vs consoling them?

Is there a trend of victims of confiscated lands, robberies etc being blamed for their actions and being stigmatized for being targeted? Are victims of confiscated lands often scared to report the crime that has been against them because it may make them look bad?

If the people went to report a case of confiscated land, the police would still behave same way.

It's a habit really. Once you get used to it, it will become very easy. You will even do the shopping some certain way. And when you notice how good it makes you feel, fit and strong and less fatigued, you will never retreat from this 'life-style'. However, I have my cheat days too, once a week but not more than two. When I make jollof rice, I eat more than I should, same with egusi, I also love pizza and cakes and these things are food for the soul.

Carbs are very important for a healthy body and brain and give us energy but they should be enjoyed in moderation. I try to divide my plates into 2/4 vegetables, 1/4 carbs and 1/4 proteins.

It is the fact we have no moral compass.

It is not like other crimes are taken seriously.
