Bitchiamjay: I hate it when I see people justify an act as heinous as rape. No matter the clothes they had on, the make-up they were wearing, the signals they sent, the alcohol they had consumed, you have no right to point finger at victims . Correct guy |

ProfAmaben: Raping women has always been in existence for thousands of years, the only way to solve this issue is to make rapists know that they would be caught if they indulge in such an act. Women should always dress properly to avoid unwanted attention and attractions So you know it's been around for thousands of years, including when dressing has historically been more conservative, yet you still attribute it to 'dressing properly'? |

WoundedLamb: That's the funny thing. The so called straight people would create threads about gay people just to say they don't like talking about gay people. It's almost as if they can't keep their mind off what these guys do in the bedroom. I don't even understand homophobia. You see a man and what matters to you is who he's having sec with ? Creating whole threads about them at 10 in the evening o, who are the ones that really need to be delivered |

Vyzz:

I really don't know and wouldn't want to know and wouldn't want one close to me either as a friend or whatever I doubt any of them are scrambling to be your friend either Gay people will just be minding their business and heterosexuals (usually guys) will be chasing after them just to let them know how much they dislike them |
Family › Re: Why Are Women Rape Cases Given More Attention Than Men Rape Cases? by ibkayee(f): 10:42pm On Jun 05, 2020 |
Attitudes towards male victims need to change. But when it gets brought up, men are some of the main ones shaming and overrunning the conversation with jokes and trivialities.
It’s hard enough protecting female victims who are ‘optically’ the ones usually perceived as the more vulnerable gender, we know there are male and female predators out there harming boys, but people make it harder when men themselves not only make light of it but find it hard to see themselves as victims in the first place |

JahBwoy: Well from what I know , it's all about bridging the gap between operations and development. So as a devops guy you are in complete control of the SDLC. from versioning/source control to spinning up of test and production systems. So nothing in Devops is written on stone, you try and learn as much tools as possible and when you join an organisation as a devops engineer, you should be able to adopt the tools they are using and platform too. .you'd have to learn a couple of tools, some tools are platform dependent, others are universal. As a devops guy, you should be good with servers, scripting languages and at least knowledge of any backend language, (I dont think you need to be proficient, just know how it works) version and source control with GIT, Infrastructure as code as well. , Personally I have lots of operational experience with Microsoft systems and I also have excellent scripting skills with windows PowerShell. I am learning IaC as well as tryna get my hands rough with c#. so I've been learning the Azure platform. How has it being for you? Thanks for your input, I've something I've considered going into but I haven't taken any real steps asides researching it |

todman: I can't really recall how long i have been learning. I just have been stumbling across the tools being used in devops since i started working 4 years ago. I started with mostly Automation. Then in the last 2 years. Containerization and CI/CD pipelines Ok a while then, someone recommended it to me so I've been looking into what it is. I've saved your monicker mentally lol thanks |

todman: Also learning DevOps. I take quizzes on Kodekloud to boost my Linux skillset. Also have a couple of web apps which i created to get familiar with deploying pipelines. I use docker for all my development and i recently moved my applications to Kubernetes. I and a friend run projects together and this helps us learn fasters. Feel free to reach out and we can talk about how to help each other Thank you How long have you been learning it? Did you go into it with a developer or operations background? |

Take a look at La’aroooo (@Jibola__i): https://twitter.com/Jibola__i?s=09 False accusations are a tiny fraction of the bigger issue, you people can cite all the anecdotes you want lol |

ToyinDipo: It seems you work more on the backend or non-web facing parts of applications. I am very verse with html, not much with html5, I don't see myself dedicating time into learning it though Yes I work mainly on backend I used to use HTML and CSS for for 'play' because I used to steal existing source code from websites and tweak it, nothing serious though |

You don't actually know whether it's true or not
And Nigeria's reputation for rape isn't coming out of nowhere so I don't understand why guys think the high rate of people talking about their rape experiences is farfetched... |
Family › Re: To The Married; Does Money Bring Happiness In A Marriage? by ibkayee(f): 6:06pm On Jun 04, 2020*. Modified: 9:10pm On Jun 04, 2020 |
I don't think it's the only way to be happy at all, so your sister and her husband's situation isn't that uncommon.
But there's a possibility that having it would make them substantially happier, assuming money is the only thing that changes in their marriage because money and power change what people can literally afford to do and how they act, and a change in attitude and movement brought on by the money could be what impacts the level of happiness or being happy at all, not necessarily the money itself, but what it brings along with it
That saying, whilst I don't think it's enough on its own to bring absolute happiness, most people would probably cry in a Ferrari than on a bike. It's an important/helpful factor but not enough to bring total happiness to a marriage, there are also many other factors that contribute to a 'happy' marriage
But for the most part, at the end of the day it depends on what you're looking for |
