Yes, he should. He who doesn't understand the urgency of paying depositors at this critical moment in Nigerian economy is daft.

Oneday82:

Nigerians gave someone they believe can transform Nigeria, but a set of orchins tag him Obidient and other names. And the worst was that they see his ambition as Igbo agenda.

They are regretting it now because whatever affects nose also affects the eyes. Nigeria opted Peter Obi not because he was the best, but because the Westerner refused to present a competent person. The like of Osibanjo, Adeshina, Fayemi and etc.

Let the heat continue... 497k minimum wage or nothing.

But I'm told that more companies are coming into APC states to invest. I'm kidding and you know it.

When I posted severally that whoever takes over will have a destroyed, sick and scattered country from Buhai, people didn't believe. Buhari scattered this country so much that if it was someone else that took over, all his ministers and appointees would have been jailed by now.

So it's not surprising. The country needed a selfless, straightforward person to fix it. The people that we have now are clueless. The hardship is just starting.

Even if minimum wage is raised to 1million naira, it will get worse. One cup of rice will sell for 5,000 Naira while a bag will go for 500k.

The only solution is for these clueless men to do is to end the insecurity, return farmers to their farms. Provide the fertilizer, improved seedlings, etc. Flood the market with it. Bring CNG buses, flood everywhere with it. Bring in food items in the market, flood everywhere with it. Import as much as possible.

Support private investors to set up CNG stations in all the senatorial districts, at least 2 each senatorial district. Drive down transportation cost. Drive down energy costs. Then encourage the production of everyday goods that are currently imported. This will drive down the inflation. But they choose to steal and be speaking English to us.

For over one year that emilokan removed fuel subsidy, he's unable to get one refinery working. Even the Damgote refinery is audio refinery. It was expected to start refining one year ago, but they're now saying that he's important crude oil fro the US. What a despicable country! A country ruled by baboons, hyenas and wolves!

By the way, I don't support increase in minimum wage. What I want is for govt to drive down prices so that the current 30K can buy 2 bags of rice. I know that I'm dreaming because we have been cursed with irresponsible leaders

All those that supported this plague on us, congratulations! We told you but you were blinded by false hope and ethnicity.

Otherwise what does UK have compared to the abundant natural resources of Nigeria?

Only 50 million?

That is how the Lifeless aka Baba Go Slow promised to lift 100 million Nigerians out of poverty. By the time Baba finishes, it was 133 million additional Nigerians that has slipped into poverty while trying to push Baba to the finish line.

Lesson:

Never believe these politicians especially the aged ones, because they have nothing else to prove. They have lived their lives already. They're trying to live your own and your children 's share. Most of the decisions they make are actually made for them. Nobody steals political power for public good.

I condemn the killing, kidnapping and terrorizing of innocent citizens by any group for any reason.

The point is that these IPOB guys are learning fast from Boko Haram and killer herdsmen that were having a field day during the last administration.

Govt should take a decisive action on these criminals, be it bandits, UGM or BH.

Govt shd never forget that the root causes of these uprising are poverty, unemployment, marginalization, embezzlement by those in government and high corruption in the land. If you tackle these problems, then the uprising will fizzle out.

Who should we blame? The government, especially during Buhari's regime.

After they have successfully ensured that that the labour of our heroes past is in vain

After they have made it obvious that no one is serving our fatherland with love, strength and faith

They're now jumping back to the old national anthem that will never solve the dishonesty of the elites, nor any problem for that matter.

The question is, what does the ruling class have to offer if not to loot, kill and destroy the country? Shame on them all.

Business / Re: CBN Governor Cardoso Blames Naira’s Fall On ‘Demand Season’ by IbrahimSola: 11:28pm On May 23
Clueless clueless clueless.

The idiioots in govt can't still find out what determines exchange rates. You're producing nothing, you own a palm oil plantation. Instead of milling your oil by yourself, you sell the fruits in bunches and prefer to import the oil from another state to use and cook at international prices. How else can you define stupidity?

You depend on World Bank on how to run your country. When did the West start wishing Africa well?

You can't hire a 69 year old to run your company, but you hire them to run all your institutions.

You produce nothing yet you expect your coin to compete with the coins of other countries that are producing.

You remove subsidy without any plans on ground.

You promise to fix refineries to begin production in December 2023 while the long awaited Dangote refinery was to start working in July 2023. All farce.

You run a country where people are kidnapped just anywhere and farmers are prevented from going to farm and you're expecting that food inflation will not come. What a clueless people!

What is seasonal about the demand? Is this the first season ever witnessed in Nigeria?

Now Labour is asking for new minimum wage. Why not use that energy to DEMAND that politicians must be put on minimum wage. I don't need to earn higher wages if what I am earning now cannot get me anything. Minimum Wage is 30k while a bag of rice is 90k.
If this daft country is not careful, this minimum wage with the current level of inflation will bury this country.

The earlier you daft and useless clueless thieves in power start looking at the evident causes of high exchange rate, the better. The earlier you start flooding the market with food from wherever the better. But that can't solve anything either, just a temporary relief.

Pursuing crypto dealers and others won't fetch you a teaspoon of solution. Stop insecurity and invest massively Mass Transit, reinvest the subsidy pay or keep chasing your ghost that doesn't exist.

Get the refineries to work. Reduce the waste in government. Sack the MD of NNPCL.

Sack the MDs of the refineries . Stop their salaries if they're not refining. Why did you pay refinery workers jumbo salaries why you withheld the salaries of lecturers? Either the people in government are mad or they are very very mad.

Nigerians are sleeping hungry everyday. Go to hospitals and see how people are dying due to lack of funds to pay for treatment.

Go to the market and see how everyone is carrying mournful faces (apart from families of the thieving politicians and elites).

Go to the Universities and see how students are looking harassed because many have not eaten, not to talk of paying fees. People are harassed psychologically and mentally everywhere.

There's no middle class again in Nigeria. You are either poor or rich.

Then all the government knows is to spew thrash... How can you say u know what Nigerians are going through yet you can't open the treasury to flood the country with mass transit buses? Fuel price is on the rise daily and you're too clueless to know that the strongest factor is transportation while you're tackling your exchange rate that was caused by your policies.

There are some politicians that if Nigerians should have the opportunity to flog, some people would carry annoyance and flog them to death. The suffering is too much.

My consolation in all these is that we the APC members and INEC staff have our separate market to buy our goods. We the APC MEMBERS we buy our bread N150 per loaf and we buy fuel at N67 per liter. The price of garri in our APC INEC market is 10 cups for N100 and a bag of garri is N3,000 per bag. We're gladly insulated from the lazy Nigerian masses.

Obi should rather find a way to form alliance with INEC. Whether holy or unholy alliance, it doesn't matter. That's how others have always been winning elections in Nigeria. Even Yar Adua admitted it

This country is not serious about elections.

The people at INEC are the only ones who TRULY know who won 2023 elections. Nigerians should stop wasting their time. Let INEC stop wasting 33Billion naira on an exercise that will still produce who they want. That money can be used in building schools and hospitals.

All that INEC needs to do is announce whoever they want and whoever is not satisfied should go to court and show cause why the person should not be President.

Whatever and however the person governs, everyone should take it in good faith. Sell your goods as you like, steal Government money as you like. Do whatever you like and if any Nigerian complains, the government should lock them up. Show them shege. Nobody has the right to complain.

This is Nigeria, the land of the conquered people.

Nigerians are generally cruel opportunists.
See the way they are justifying inflating prices at the detriment of the masses.
Exactly the reason why people will prefer to patronise ShopRite and Bokku than the local retailer.

You said masses? The masses are wicked. They're the ones selling rice, palm oil, garri, yam, ogu, etc as they like. That's why God usually stays away from their matter. When they curse their leaders and complain about bad leadership, God scoffs. Because he already knows that the masses are more wicked to themselves. No matter how their leaders oppress and no matter how they fast and pray and bind and cast or rebuke, it doesnt move God because He already knows that these people are worse than the leaders. Until the day that major shops an outlets will be required to documents goods in their shop before and after, this evil will continue.

Forget those who complain. Ask them how they sold their vegetable or water leaf and you'll be shocked. The masses in Nigeria are a wicked lot.

The people selling stuff are suffering the same hardship as you are....

Think on that.

That's the point. The hardship is exacerbated by the middlemen and retailers.

Ordinarily, why shd a bag of cement that raw materials are abundant in Nigeria be sold for over 10k by retailers? It is those in power who are bereft of ideas concerning fuel subsidy and exchange rate that are encouraging these people.

I will like a different thread abt whether any Nigerian will make heaven or paradise.

Economic and financial
wickedness is in the blood of Nigerians.

The day dollar goes up, EVERY SHOP starts selling high because dollar rate is high, whether the business has anything to do with forex or not. When exchange rate improves, prices refuse to come down. We have people who are very religious but very very ungodly.

What is money without a beautiful woman to be vulnerable to? The more the money, the more the ability and tendency to misbehave.

Ask anyone who has ever worked closely with politicians with plenty money, and you will know that money is nothing without fresh boobs to grab. New boobs, plenty of them.

Las Las, who do we make money of not women? It must be your mother, or sister, or wife, or daughter, or girlfriend, or mistresses of different sizes and shapes and colours.

The more the money, the wider the net. Women don't know this.

That your husband with plenty money is certainly testing waters, because lots of money attract lots of women. Just that some men do it with caution while some do it carelessly. Some even do it stewpidly.

Never been in a plane before.

May God help us

Dont worry, it's turn by turn. You will not plan when it happens

I never entered an airplane until I got married. 3 months after I married, the opportunity came and since then, I became a bird. Always in the air...to the point that I was tired of flying.

My first day was a total learning curve. I observed everything. And I experienced everything.

Flying is always refreshing. I didn't blink and eye for once in my first flight. Subsequently, I would sleep the entire flight.

One connecting flight got me really scared and that day, I said my last prayers. I was wondering whether the plane was falling off the sky, cos everything was shaking, and turning and twisting, and braking, and jumping up and diving.

Those who have not flown before shd know that one day, it will start.

Guy, send a text to all your contacts that you have been laid off from work. Appeal to them nicely that you have a facility that is hanging on your neck which you don't want them to start calling you a thief or fraudster.

Appeal to your contact to help you to clear the loan with whatever they have. Mention the amount of the loan and the fact that it is increasing everyday.

If they refuse, or majority refuse to help you, then delete the loan app, or simply withdraw their access to your calls, messages, etc. And if any of your contacts tells you that they received a message from a loan company that you're a fraudster, tell them that it what what you were begging them to help you out. Block the number that the loan company uses in calling you, and pray that they are loan sharks that can't legitly report you to Credit Bureau, otherwise it will be hard for you to obtain any facility again.

What I'm telling you now is just a little better than suicide, because by doing this, e mean say you no get shame again, anything wey wan happen, mek e happen. At least nobody will blame you cos you reached out for help.

In business or relationship, honesty is the best policy. When you open up to people about your situation, they will know how to deal with you and what to expect. So make your choice, or start doing any menial work to repay the company. Tell them you want to meet with them.

With N10m, you don't need to go to anywhere. We can double the money in a year, together.

All you need to do is to hit me up. Give me one year and I'll double the money for you, whatever is on top will be mine. If you agree, reach out to me by email. Why would I have 10m and I'll be running away? Guy this is the best time to make money in this country.

If you want to run the business on your own, I'll charge you just 200k for the idea, the business plan and the market. In 12 months, you can double the money and have surplus. If we're running it together, the surplus is my salary while you have your capital and additional 10m.

If you're staying abroad and you have N10m to invest, reach out to me. If you're in Nigeria, reach out to me. But you will pay me 200k first if you just need to have the idea, business plan and the market.

Journalists commit atrocities of unimaginable dimension most conflicts. Either the propel lies or they shield the truth. Look at Nigeria, if not for social media, would we know anything? Yet theyre graduating from Universities with journalism certificates every month. What do they teach them? Imagine if Nigeria was to engage in conflict of Hamas scale, it would have been journalists that politicians would have used in perpetrating crimes as usual.

Who owns the media in Nigeria? Who owns the media in Hamas? Think about all the stories that the journalists cover up and suppress in Nigeria. We shd thank OBJ who ensured we were connected on time to the GSM, otherwise we would all be dumb and gone by now. Because journalists in the third wall have always been a sellout.
