Coolface, that ride will be a very big distraction in performing your duties at home,

and it is going to be your next husband.

You have been performing your duties at home

and you deserve the best but something flashy might just enter your head.

There are better things to do with money if truly you will like to contribute to the society.

So Iyawo Diedie oo

@ poster. The truth is she doesnt love you,may be you should just discus this with her parents

and give them reasons why you cannot continue with the relationship.

I had a friend who had a similar problem, his fiancee got pregnant for another guy,

she then aborted,my friend got to know about it(after fixing their introduction date)

and call it quit on the day of their introduction,he is now happily married with children.

You v got to move on and do something that will also hurt her if possible.

She is not meant for u.

Love is not blind this days.My advice is for you to just leave her.

The healing process take time but you will get over it.

I think you v been blindfolded all this while by the so called love.

A man is not suppose to give 100% of his hearth to a lady, they can

fail at any time.

The thought of marriage kills me, i simply love my freedom, i cant imagine having to answer to a woman forever, do what she wants and not mine, the thought of kids scare me, having to be called 'daddy' and having to deal with the demands in their eyes when u fall short of expectation, disneyland, father xmas, God! its a nightmare

I can imagine the life, more like a subdued benjamin angry But if thats the price others had to pay, then we all have to do it init smiley
when i think of the wedding day proper, standing in front of the crowd, I know i'll shit bricks! grin Dancing in front of those peeps, God! what if my wife dances better old school than me and what if the music doesnt suit me then i'll be looking for my feet all day?
Its all wierd but it will all be over in one day sha grin I always look at the bright side but it still scares me sha grin

You are right,i dont know how this marriage of a thing works,i am old enough and have enough to take care of the family,

but i am scared of marriage.Ladies behaves like children they nag a lot,all i need is children that will take care of me

when i am old.

The question is how do you bear children without getting a wife. I love the freedom am enjoying now.

Marriage is real BONDAGE

Not as if am insulting you, madam but Nairaland ios domimated by Married women.Women are idle most times.
Just trying to analyse why it is so.

Most married women on Nairaland are housewives, nothing to do at home.Married men are very busy making money

Islam for Muslims / Re: Is Mohammad Really The Last Prophet From The Biblical God? by ibrokay(m): 11:00am On May 07, 2009
I hate this thread with passionBabs(Muslim) vs David and co(xtians).I just marvel at the way Nigerians take religion as if its a Do or Die affair. The west that introduced the xtainity religion to us dont even go to church. Some white guys in my place of work made the same comment about Nigerian they v worked with(xtians anyway),that they pretend a lot and they are too religious, and it doesnt stop us from cheating and commiting all sort of attrocities.
@ David
I am really dissapointed in you cos u dnt even know what u are worshiping,i am not here to argue but to beg u to make more research and go out(Travel),wen you travel and meet people you will really learn a lot and u discover that there are many places where they v not even heard xtianity b4 and places where Islam has not touched.ARE THEY ENTERING HELL FIRE?
I have been to so many countries and this kind of Views about other religions make me hate Nigeria and Nigerians.
I guess this thread should be removed cos it make me Sick.

Romance / Re: What Do Women Really Want? by ibrokay(m): 2:02pm On May 03, 2009
@tranngirl i love ur opinion, most nigeria guys dont really know what women want or need.I always find it difficult to trust my girl despite all sha has done to convince me.She always try to please me and surprise me but most times i find it difficult to appreciate or say thank u for little things she does due tomy ego and pride and cos i want her to know im in charge.I think what a woman need from us is Care, love and affection, just for her to know that u will be there for her always, and make sure u call her and surprise her with some little gifts not neccessarily expensive). Thanks Trann

My brother,i can see what u are going thru.Just be hopefull something good will soon come out.To tell u the truth,Certificates does not count in Nigeria again, wether it is Cambridge or Oxford.First u need a link and meet up with their requirements.I know you will be looking for job in Oil companies like most Chemical Engineers do.All you need now is to be prayerfull and be hopefull, also look for professional courses you can do that will improve you in your chosen career. All the best
Romance / Re: Is It Wrong To Marry At 23 by ibrokay(m): 3:53pm On Oct 28, 2008
I believe maturity does not have anything to do with age.
If you have what it takes to take care of her emotional needs then go ahead
Poverty has really affected our thinking in Africa.Imagine telling a 27yr old guy that he is too young for marriage
Once you have a steady source of income their is nothing stopping you from getting married.

I have to agree that they are not romantic. cry

But other things will make up for it wink

My husband once said that no african man is a gentleman. At heart this is not possible.
Yes u are right. We are always rigid and domineering to deal with an African man u need patience
and let him be the man of the house

Romance / Re: Our Intimacy Started On Phone by ibrokay(m): 4:46pm On Oct 16, 2008
98% of men cheat on their spouse, they might be faithful initially when they stay under the same roof but when they are far apart you see the other part of them.I have many examples where the wive travel out and they start messing arround.Ladies are still sincere to some extent but most guys dont have control over their private. Cheating is not the key factor but avoiding uneccessary mistake.Mistake;thats what guys call it,u impregnate another girl and she is not willing to abort.Guys just have to play it safe because u might not be able to hold urself
Romance / Re: Love Has A Price Tag by ibrokay(m): 4:08pm On Oct 16, 2008
Thats the more reason why girls prefer dating old men(Aristos).By the time they reach certain age they start looking for an inocent young guy to marry.A friend of mine had his girlfriend dumped him just because he does not have enough cash(3yrs back),the guy is now rich with a good job in an oil firm and the girl is back begging. No one hnows tommorrow, young girls should learn t exercise patience because most of us that have some cash are just use you as sex machine, afterall it will cost us few Dollars. Please Use your head, love does not have to come with a price tag
Romance / Re: Would You Date A Guy Who Hardly Calls You by ibrokay(m): 2:14pm On Oct 16, 2008
That is what most playboys use to deceive most of you ladies, call you 20times and visit 5 times daily.Serious minded guys will try to keep in touch and call when it is necessary.
