Each bank has their own format, some can display the balance while others don't. I know GTBank does not display your balance. It is not a statement of account, it is a different document stating that you maintain an account with them, are in good standing, have no debt etc.

You can apply to Saskatchewan, Manitoba (If you have relation/job offer there), Prince Edward Island, and Alberta (I don't think they have done any draw in a long time). Others pick from the pool.

Even if he's not going immediately, my advice will be for you both to apply together. When you're successful, he can do a soft landing and come back to Naija. That way he's already permanent resident and going back to Canada will be as easy as booking a flight ticket.

Secondly, Whether or not he is going with you now, you need to show proof of funds for your entire family.

They have a separate NOC for administrative work. You should use that which you have experience in and can show proof.

It depends on what province you are applying to. Most provinces pick candidate who are already in the express entry pool.

I think you can apply directly to Saskatchewan province but you will need more points (higher IELTS band, masters, relative/connections to the province and/or job offer) to get high points. Out of a 100 points for SINP, you need to be getting like 70 above to be given NOI. It takes about 4 months, but covid might cause some delays.

For Ontario, they pick from the express entry pool according to their needs in the province, so you cannot apply directly to them. They have not launched their Expression of Interest system unlike Saskatchewan. Theirs take about 3 months.

I booked online for my IELTS exam made payment online too. It's been one week now and I am yet to receive a confirmation mail from them, my profile keeps showing "booked awaiting approval," should I be worried? And what can I do?

I have experienced this before. Usually, they send the confirmation a few days to the exam. I did not receive any confirmation, not even exam number until that day in the exam center. If you do not receive any more information from them, just go to the exam center with your reference number and they will give you your exam number. You are likely to find other candidate with the same issue too.

Hello. I've paid for wes, sent a dude to obafemi Awolowo university, where I got my masters and he told me that they have sent the transcript to wes electronically. While researching through nairaland I found out that the school can only send the transcript by post and not by email.

WES has changed that. They now accept transcripts electronically. This is the same news I got from my school in Imo state.

Kindly check their Twitter page. There are so many people giving negative reviews. You can as well check Trustpilot. If I had maybe made my own research, I wouldn’t have used them. I just assumed since everyone here always recommended them then I could purchase dollars with them and this was the end result. If I had a positive experience like everyone else, would I have come here to put out a negative review. Of course not.

Agreed. There are complaints on their Twitter page, and there are success cases as well. I could even see that they are replying to people's complaints on their page too. Maybe they are experiencing some sort of network or system issues, which unfortunately happen with online payments, banks and POS every now and then.

The main issue is not if they have problems or not, it's with the way you were raining curses, concluding that they are scammers, and even saying people here know they are into scams.

I suggest you disturb them on their Twitter page via their customer support handle (https://twitter.com/FlwSupport), and you will surely get your funds back. I hope you will return to tell us that you have received your money.

I’ve posted it on their platforms. But I also Posted it here because I see many people advising people to use the app which was what made me use it in the first place also. It’s only fair people see that this is one of their scamming tactics. I went to their Twitter page and trust pilot which has so many negative reviews like mine. If only I had known and made my own research before using it. Isn’t it fair people here also know that they scam people while funding other people considering its mostly advertised here by other users which was what made me initiate a transaction with them. Today is the 7th day and there’s no response from them anymore saying they initiated my refund immediately which they never did .

To be honest, this is the first negative review I have seen on this thread about them. One negative experience with them does not mean they are scammers. Fluttterwave, listed as one of 2021 TIME100 Most Influential Companies (https://time.com/collection/time100-companies/5949986/flutterwave/) are not scammers. You are also insinuating people here are scammers with this statement - "people here also know that they scam people while funding other people".

This company is nothing but garbage. I tried purchasing dollars to make a payment and the equivalent was deducted from my account almost immediately. I also received an email from them stating my transaction was successful. However on my app, it said my transaction was not successful and I will be refunded. This was on the 21st April . I was told my account has been refunded. Today is the 28th of April and there has been no refunded. Never again. Refund my money so I can delete your useless app you bunch of thieves stealing money from innocent people. Why do I have I have to wait 13 days to receive my money if truly it has been refunded. Im just a bit scared of finally getting to the ITA and failing because of POF.

If you will use a gift deed (Money from family relatives), it does not have to be in your account for 6 months, you should explain it in your Letter of Explanation, do a notarized gift deed, and show proof that the money was given to you. (cheque, etc)

Regarding the Stanbic mutual funds, it's like an investment account you open with Stanbic bank. With this, you will submit your investment certificate from the bank. I am not very sure about the treasury bills, but I believe that whatever you present to them, you should show that the money is yours and can be easily accessed.
