I have an issue. I'm expecting that I'll get ITA in July, as my score is above 500. However, my POF has only been in the account for 2 months, and I know that the average duration required is 6 months. What can I do now?

The POF does not have to be in your account for 6 months.

Yes, after ITA, submit documents and you receive AOR. It's a response that they have received your application, and it's usually the same day you send it in.

You send the passports to the VFS nearest to you in your country, and they will send to the appropriate VFS or visa office.

Yes. But wasn't he asking that if passports can be sent directly to Ghana IRCC (Ghana IRCC is different from Ghana VFS).

I am not sure, but I do not think IRCC Ghana accepts passports directly from clients/candidates. Someone should confirm, please.

Just to confirm, I called the VAC Lagos to get clarification on the fees I need to pay (including courier) and the rep on phone asked when and where I did my biometrics. I responded saying Lagos and she advised that if I’m sending my passport, I wouldn’t need to pay the transmission fee, all I need is the tag I was given during my biometrics collection as that would serve as proof of payment, and only pay the for courier.

Can anyone confirm if this is true.

Yes, very true. You do not need to pay another fee. Except if you want to pay for SMS notification which is optional. I paid for sms but have not received one sms from them yet.

Yes, you have a chance to appeal and I hope it works out for you.

Did you use your savings account (POF) to prove employment? Remember, there are about 3 items we can use to prove employment, did you use like 2 or 3 of them?

Also, does the company you work for have an online presence?

Try to document your payslips (if possible, from first to current one), letter of employment, promotion letter (if any), anything at all to prove your point, with a good LOE even.

Please i just received the attached email and want to confirm if this is PPR.

I particular about step 1 cos i have sent webforms to indicate my newborn and my profile has been updated to include my baby. i also proactively sent all the documents for my baby when my ADR for schedule A, PCC and POF were requested. The status for additional documents currently reads "not applicable". My question is, should i ignore the step 1 and submit all passports?

Also, i live in lagos, which VO would be advisable to send my passports to?

Lastly, there is also a request to take passport photographs at a commercial studio. Any recommendations?

I recently entered the pool but my profile was showing ineligible bkaux of a mistake,so I revoked my gckey and opened another acount with same email address. My fear is when I was asked during the filling stage of the second account if I ad any application with IRCC in the past,my answer was NO.. bkaux I revoked my gckey. Is this okay or I need to fill yes??

Creating an account/entering the pool and submitting an application are 2 different things. From your write-up, you did not submit an application, you only created a profile, you should be OK.

No one guarantees speedy passport...Sometimes they will say there is no booklet.

You do not need to inform them. Your score and age were valid at the time you applied.

but icehot may have his reasons for saying just the certificate will suffice, everyone's case is different anyways

If she is more satisfied with sending the fingerprint pages, then by all means she should send them. Nothing like sending too many documents here...The goal is to land in Canada.

You can upload the receipt with a good letter of explanation. I have read about this issue on another forum.

Good afternoon all, please my medicals is not until 30th of April and I will like to submit my application. Cos my 60 days for submitting my post ITA documents will elapse first week in May. Please how do I go about filling in the medicals section as I would like to submit before the first week.

You can actually submit your application without your medical. During processing, they will ask you to do medicals. People may argue that it will make your processing time longer but nothing is certain.

You can still submit your application after doing the medicals on the 30th, even on the same day. All you need is a printout that the medical center will give you to upload on your application as proof that you have done medicals.

Yes my bro. I got a message about decision envelope and stuff, and then got another saying my passport has been received and is forwarded to IRCC for processing. I'm kinda confused.

I checked tracking and this is what I saw

"Visa application, tracking ID No **** Your processed passport has been forwarded to the Canada Visa Office on 2022/04/06. To know more, please call VAC helpline number or visit VAC website"

It means VFS ghana has sent the passport to Canada Visa Office in Ghana.

Has anyone sent passports to CIO via Lagos Vfs before? How long did it take?

Everything in this journey is just stressful, someone cannot even exhale and relax after PPR. Did it take this long to stamp passports pre-Covid or is this just one of the several consequences of the backlog

Like how hard can it be to stamp passports? Eh?

I got updates today . Passport dispatched to Vo for onward delivery . Guess counter foil will be updated within 24 to 48hours on profile

So could it be that they stamped your passport and didn't update your profile
Maybe you can confirm from the DHL office you used if indeed they have been contacted to come pick up
