Earthquake2: We need a destroyer in that midfield and we don't have any based abroad
Nobody in the local league have been outstanding either We still have a long way to go with the Qualifiers. New players emerge everyday |

Earthquake2: The weakness of the team is in midfield it is glaring to see
Nwakali is an Ozil and his partner, Azubuike is not a good enough shield We need to first scout for an U23 player to add to that midfield. An over-aged play should be the last resort. |

safarigirl: I wouldn't call him a flop, but I do agree he has performed far below expectations.
Considering all the hype, pomp and pageantry with which he came into the EPL, he should be doing so much better, however, it may be too early to call him a flop. Welcome home Sis. |

Add Ndidi beside Nwakali you have a complete team Ndidi is not elligible |

Curtisaxel7: Sorry to say this but it would be IMPOSSIBLE to beat Libya 3-0 on that Asaba potato farm. Any relatively good defensively set-up team can get a clean sheet on that tiny pitch anytime anyday.
Add to that the fact that the pitch was just played on a couple of days ago, you can imagine how "smooth" the surface will be.
Pinnick should pity us and place our football development ahead of his greed for once and take that match to Uyo. Eh! u say wetin...?

tbaba1234: 82' GOAL! Nigeria 3-0 Libya (3-2 on agg)
A goal made in Chile 2015. Kelechi Nwakali robs his marker of possession and slices it through for Osimhen who claims his hat trick.
Nigeria overturn the deficit. That is the beauty of players playing with their mates. You get to see the full potential of these players. Remember that skinny Osimhen in that Siasia 2015 CAF U23 team. Now the boy is ready for the challenge at this level. |

komekn: It's very simple.
I prefer to talk about what l know or have let's say a lot of the time, first hand personal knowledge.
Is that a crime ❓
Although l have some knowledge of Nigerian football but it's very superficial and l leave comments to you and BascoVanVeli. I quite appreciate your depth of knowledge too.
Bit dissapointed I mean the bold, tell me one person l have called derogatory names on this thread. It's simply not what l would do We all know your usual words: " You are filled with Negative prejudice and emotive biase". That was what I am referring to. |

gamaliel9: Ahmad Ahmad vision of African Football is coming to fruition....How i wish to see a score line like this
Madagascar 2-1 Senegal Tanzania 4-1 South Africa Kenya 2 - 1 Ghana
The nations cup was actually expanded to accommodate more countries from that Region. If it was the era of "the group leader and 2 best second placed teams" probably only Uganda and Madagascar could have qualfied. |

BascoVanVeli: His name is Godspower Tower Aniefiok. A returnee to the league but this guy is top draw. Ultra creative on the ball with a touch softer than a baby's bottom. He drove the whole stadium wild yesterday. I honestly waited till today so I didn't sound too crazy about the lad but I still believe he is the best midfielder I have seen at Akwa United. Every decision he made was correct, he has a real football brain. Returnee from where please? And why? |

komekn: Why do you have too always descend to the gutter with your rhetoric. Your approach is so infantile and caustic it beggars belief that you may indeed be over 18.
If you have nothing to say it's better to be quite and you will then be wrongly thought to be wise considering your past history.
Oviemuno Ejaria was his team mate also they are in the same age range and if the two of them are not relating something is certainly not right.
By the way l PERSONALLY KNOW the assistant coach and first team manager. And l can assure you there is no prejudice.
These guys will approach matters on the basis of your performance and if that's not up to scratch, you simply will not play.
Well before Sadiq Umar came to Glasgow Rangers after l had watched him play several times. I made the comments and inference that he would struggle in English League one with clear cut devoid of emotive measured and objective reasons.
That opinion l have did not change because he went to Glasgow Rangers indeed what happened there substantiated my view. Bros abeg, no vex. Why is it that the only thing you discuss here is this foreign born players issue. I know you may call me names now for asking this question but I just have to. |
