But he should've waited though. His value might probably go up after the World Cup. Assuming Nigeria performs well, that is.

TheSuperNerd: Oduamadi Leaves Milan After 11 Years, In Talks With Fortuna Düsseldorf By Johnny Edward
https://wwwcompletesportsnigeriacom-xzvtxvtv.stackpathdns.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/IMG_20180522_134210-400x400.jpg
Nigerian forward, Nnamdi Oduamadi, has parted ways with Italian giants AC Milan eleven years after they signed first contract, Completesportsnigeria.com reports. The 27 year old winger whose deal expires this summer joined the club in 2011 and made only one substitute appearance for the Rossoneri during the 2010/11 season when they won the Italian Serie A under Carlo Ancelotti.
The Flying Sports Academy product was sent out on loan to Torino, Varese, Crotone, Latina, Brescia and HJK Helsinki during his time at the club.
Oduamadi thanks the club for the confidence they reposed in him and the opportunity to represent the club. “It’s been an amazing 11 years journey for me,” Oduamadi wrote in a long post on his Instagram page. “Journey of success, trials and winning. I want to thank AC Milan for believing in me when I was signed 11 years ago. I count it a privilege to wear and play in this great club’s Jersey. “I want to thank them for their ever so strong support towards my career. They have shown me love like a family but unfortunately a time comes when you get to move on. “Moving on, I appreciate this club and all her historic achievements. Thanks so much to the fans and friends I have made here. “I will miss this family and wish it the very best. Looking forward to what the bright future holds for me.”
Completesportsnigeria.com can also report that the former Torino, Crotone, Latina, Brescia and HJK Helsinki forward is currently negotiating a deal with German side, Fortuna Dusseldorf.

Bia Sir Joebie... How about Nigeria's left-at-home XI (the remix) having only English-bred/born Nigerian talents... We will call it the 100% Anglo-Nigerian version. Simply means we left to Russia with the very best. That team up there cannot beat even Enyimba. |

Martz101: Argentina are not us and we are not them, why didnt you use other team like brazil and France, moreover Argentina are going with 7 defenders, mascherano plays there for them of recent It depends on necessities and strength of the team.Chile took 5 defenders to the last WC. Odion Ighalo is the only natural CF in that team. We may just need another in Simi. We know Iheanacho does not measure up well in 4-5-1. We tried Musa there against Serbia and he was almost missing for 90mins. What if Ighalo get suspended or injured and we have to play a 4-5-1. We may just need another CF in Simi. If you carry 8 defenders to the WC you may likely not use more than 6 all through the tournament. Rohr has the final say and may likely go with 8 defenders and drop Simi but I am just looking at it from another angle. |

Martz101: I had to check the moniker saying this, bros really,7 defenders?? or maybe you dont have plans of making it far in the worldcup.
each position should have atleast 2 players and the goal keeper taking and added spot, remember injuries because they have lesstime to rest between games and even after a long season not forgeting cards too All positions must not have back ups. Certain players can play more than one position. Argentina is a team that expect to go very far in the tournament yet dey listed only 6 defenders. |

TheGoodJoe: The footie heads I am talking about were my neighbors. I can tell you. that I did not watch the 1997 Champions League final live but they did. A few days later, I watched a full replay match in their house. And it was on one of the sports channels on the cable satellite devices. Just 1 out of the hundreds that do not have access to such. The point is simple. |
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Icon4s(m): 7:31pm On May 21, 2018 |
MetalJigsaw: Just six defenders? If left to me I can drop our defenders from 10 to 7 so I can accommodate an extra CF in Simi Nwankwo. The thing is most of us here are attached to certain players and would not want to see them dropped. What are you going to do with 8 defenders when only 4 can start? Besides changing of defenders does not really impact a game that much. It is the changes we make upfront that changes the course of a game. So we should have more options in the attack. |

TheGoodJoe: Keep in mind that later, those cable channels got decoded. It reached a time people started abandoning them for Multichoice. So it depends on the time when you got it. That was not the trend. Those free to air cables only had News, Music and movies channels. |

Joebie: We had moved from the estate we use to live by then, we had cable in the mid 90s. But I think I actually watched it on Delta Broadcasting Service. Can’t remember too well. That is not the issue. Did you watch live European leagues football on those cables? |

I hope you know 1% of 100 million people is a million people, which is a big number. That is 1 in every 100 which is a very small number. |
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Icon4s(m): 6:43pm On May 21, 2018 |
TheGoodJoe: Those that had these devices did. I was not a football head in those days, if not I would have followed up then. My neighbors had these devices and they were rampant. Euro league is small. We were watching Michael Chan and Agassi live. Watching a young Tiger Woods live. Following OJ Simpson trial live. We had footie heads then that will be talking about Italian League matches.
That is my point. Not every body following. Most of those free to air devices did not show live football matches. We found out when we later got ours. It was when we started watching on DSTV that we really watched live football. |
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Icon4s(m): 6:37pm On May 21, 2018 |
TheGoodJoe:
I have no problem with that. My point is that a lot of people followed Euro leagues in the 90's. Even though it is a few percentage, that few percentage is a big number of people.
The statement that people claiming that they followed Euro leagues in the nineties is true.
It might not be a large percentage but they were those following.
Arguing that a lot of people did not have access does not change the point that there were people following. Convert the many people you talk about to percentage and you will see it hardly up to 1%. That has been my point. |
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Icon4s(m): 6:34pm On May 21, 2018 |
TheGoodJoe: What percentage claim to follow Euro Leagues first hand in the nineties? It is that percentage I am talking about. There is difference between following and following live on Satellite TV. As I said we followed champions league live on AIT and also CUP finals like the English FA cup. But most did not follow the typical weekend live English/German/ Spanish league games. |

Joebie: Where I lived in Warri we were among the privileged few that had satellite (big dishes) in the early 90s. Multichoice never dream to come by then. In fact we closely monitored the coming of MNET and SuperSports when they were running their jingles. A couple years later that small “netty” black satellite were owned by a few wealthy men. And by the mid 90s na cable dey reign. So did you watch Atlanta 96 football event on Local stations or cable? |
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Icon4s(m): 6:25pm On May 21, 2018 |
TheGoodJoe: I wonder how people argue simple point. You are talking DSTV. By 1997, people were hacking Multichoice devices and cable satellite devices were rampant.
I am even downplaying it. OJ Simpson trial was followed on Cable satellite programs. That was in 1995. People were following Euro leagues first hand. Get my point. I didn't say there were no cable satellite devices. But they were largely unavailable to the general masses. Only a very little percentage had access to Satellite TV. Even those that had free to air majority did not have access to live European football. You need to be on a higher end bouquet to get those. Maybe Free to Air Cable satellite was common in PH where you grew up but in Lagos and it's envions where I spent the early part of my life it was not common. Even as at 1996 the only man that had a cable satellite device in my neighborhood was a medical doctor and he didn't have access to Live European football. And mind you this was a middle class dominated viscinity. AIT came to our rescue in the mid 90s. |

TheGoodJoe: But also there were many who followed it by watching live games. As of 1996. Many were watching satellite TV. Lots of homes had satellite devices. Let alone bars, restaurants and hotel lobbies. Oga, no be for Nigeria then abeg. Less than 1% even in urban centers not to talk of semi-rural and rural areas. |
