Lazyerudite: Sorry jare, I felt anichebe should not even be an option, the fact that people are actually questioning Nacho's ability is strange. One would think we would be looking for an attacking midfielder who would make his runs count. Not to start considering Martins and the likes 999likes! |

forgiveness: Iheanacho is not good enough for the CF position. Many countless articles by reputable football analysts, successful professional footballers, licensed coaches both locally and internationally etc have empirically emphasised and hold up to the opinion that Iheanacho is not good enough for the CF position.
So, where did you get your aproka knowledge of Football from?
Sorry, no thanks. Iheanacho can't play that CF. He should fight for the ss role. EOD. Where did you get this list from? Mtcheew Next thing now you go recommend Martins. |

jotey: thank God you said it yourself that he has good buildup play
and yes that is what we need against cameroun A striker that is only involved in build up play and no attempt at goal? Abeg. The build up play you guys are always making reference to was it not bc of the Zambia game? Apart from that Zambia game please make reference to any other games Ideye was involved in any build up play worthy of note. When Mikel is in that AM position which forward player will not have a good build up play? If you recall in that Zambia game both Iheanacho and Iwobi were also involved in build up plays orchestrated by Mikel. That's why I say put a very Lethal Iheanacho in front of Mikel the orchestrator. |

jotey: He did not score but his build up play was awesome...you saw how emenike flopped @ the world cup because there was no ideye with him
And don't forget the wonderful assist he gave emenike in the first game against Burkina faso
Did musa shine for Leicester?
should I start mentioning players that flopped @ EPL?. shey that one mean say the player no good?
Yes Greek league... @least they won euro 2004 What has England won with their world class league? Yes, I knew you'll make reference to that Burkina Faso game because that was the only highlight of Ideye's game that is worthy of note through out his entire career with the Super Eagles. You forgot to mention his big flop at the 2013 Confederations cup. Now comparing him with Musa: Musa did far better than Ideye did in the EPL plus Musa had more quality players to contend with in the starting lineup. And also Ideye is long past his peak and already midway through his declining curve while Musa can still get his spark back. You saw how he scored a brace against Togo even as a winger. Ideye in China: Nothing worthy of note thus far. Is there any news about him scoring any goal? unlike what we have heard about Martins and Ighalo. Abeg, no space for Ideye in this SE starting line-up. |

jotey: I rather play ideye as a striker than iheanacho against cameroun
You said nobody can bench him as a striker in our team
Tell me what he played against Algeria and SA as a striker And when Kayode was brought in against SA were there any highlights about his game? Dude just became a passenger, nothing worthy of note. This Iheanacho Vs Kayode debate has been exhaustive. Me no get the zeal for it again for now. |

jotey: How is he not good enough
Have you forgotten afcon 2013
Someone that was banging goals for olympiacos early this season is not good enough ?? Emm how many goals did Ideye score at that 2013 AFCON? And did you say the Greek league? You've probably swept away the fact that he flopped big time at Westbrom before he was shipped to Greece. |

junnyjake: Call this one! Call that one!
We can't have more than eleven players on the field at a time, we are a country with abundant talents, there'd always be new prospects emerging on a daily basis.
Their destinies might be decided by a number of unforeseen occurrences, some would work themselves out trying to break into the team, they'd yet be denied continuously a place in the SE team (not peculiar to Nigeria though)
Don't forget, the team handlers are humans and not some computer programs that monitors different attributes of players then automatically adds them to the team. Not mentioning the bias, favoritism, personal preference that influences decisions often taken.
Good or not, how fitted are you into what the manager wants to achieve at the moment?
We all want the best for the team, rohr would do as he please in the end. 10,000likes! |

Is ideye not good enough??
If you need goals against cameroun then play ideye

Humility017: how about kayode Sir icon4s.... the lad can do well upfront considering the fact he has the strength and a good finisher too I will prefer him above ideye...reason because he is more better finisher... nacho playing as SS or Am...will allow room to shine...as he can as well switch wit the CF when occasion demands... more so his shot are well accurate and wit precision.... he will have a heyday Look my brother we need to maximise the strength of that team. We need those final killer passes from Mikel which is why he is our best AM option. Now who do you think is a better finisher between Iheanacho and Kayode? When Mikel releases those killer passes who do you think would utilize them more. Iheanacho or Kayode? If gifted with plenty of chances who do you think would bury them more between Iheanacho and Kayode! Mikel takes the AM while Iheanacho plays CF for me. |

AIG07: I was opportuned to watch CMR play today. Though it was barely for 20mins or so.
*MY DEDUCTIONS* I'll be highlighting few things i discovered from my short stint infront of the Tv set.
*STRENGTH* the camerounians strength lies much in their Pace, ruggedness, with strength and play a sort of compact of football.
The team possesses fast and pacy wingers in Bassogog and Moukandjo which presently, I don't see any of our fullbacks matching up against them strength for strength and if care is not taking they can wreck havoc from both sides of the wings...
Another major concern for any attack is the compactness in which their defence is organized...
*HOW TO NEUTRALIZE THEM* -we need to deploy a 4-2-3-1 that can easily switch to 4-4-2 formation tactics cos playing wide against them will be futile.
-Iheanacho should either play as an AMF/SS else his service won't be needed in the 9 role.
-Iwobi should not start this encounter.
-A Sharp and fit Victor Moses will be needed on the LW-his solo runs and dribbles will be needed to unlock their defence and providing cover for Echiejile.
-Mikel should play the CMF role with Onazi/Ndidi playing the DMF.
-Our DMF should be concern more with shielding the defence and allow the CMF to do the attacking job-this is very important as our full backs is our weekest link
- Finally, No one should be played out of position. I have read countless articles on how Iheanacho should be played as an AM/SS. So who is that player that deserves to start as the CF of this team? |

TheSuperNerd: Loooollll...... Anyway shaa.... The youngsters are giving a good fight shaa oooo.... But Chile is really showing class anytime they get up front on the attack. A really sweet game.
But I can tell you that apart from Draxler... the likes of Joshua Kimmich (no.18), Ter Stegen (no.22), Timo Werner (on the bench) and a few more out there today are future First XI players for die mannschaft.... (hope I got the spelling).
And Viola!!! My Beautiful German Youngsters have scored... I told you I won't be surprised if they win or draw but Sincerely I expect Chile to nick this. The Germans have looked promising all night in the build up to attacks but that their defense still looks very vulnerable though they improved as the game progressed. The German goalkeeper is their best player in this game thus far. Chile are still favorites to win this. This German team even as fragile as they are still look good enough to beat Cameroon |

Wanna see how Youth of a top football nation copes against The world class Experience of Chile.
But mehn... Chile wan kill them ooo...
Only strike for Germany have been off-target from Draxler.
I expect Chile to win but won't be surprised if Germany's Youth pull a shock draw or win. In all my years of football followership I have never seen Germany at the senior level being this humiliated. |

I expect Chile to win but won't be surprised if Germany's Youth pull a shock draw or win. A good number of the German Olympic team players have been progressed to the senior team. They have an already aged squad. They are building for the future. Though they are shaky at the back they look promising while on the attack. Even still the average age of this German team is above what we presented against SA. |
