and why won't people be disappointed when the names that made the team what it was have not even been given the spotlight to redeem themselves ....... this was our best Team since mikels set

CHIDERA, YAHAYA, IHENACHO, ALAMPASU, NWAKAKILI, SUCCES ISAAC, SAMMY OKON .... those boys made it not this nonsense ......
Apart from Success the boys u listef above will b ripe for U20 in 2 yrs time.

Yahaya and Iheanacho are cadet players.
Moses is in Genk. Success in Granada. Where are Genk and Granada compared to Barcelona.

This Flying Eagles are the most over hyped in d history of Flying Eagles. Another over hped set was the Chile 1987 Flying Eagles ie Etim Esin, Ugbade, Akpoborie and company.

Messi was already a Bacelona player even before he played U20.The U20 is for young professionals and nt for cadet players.

and when that team that conquered the world and understands themselves better is sub because of ur in lnclusion of the big the people mentioned it just doesn't make sense, yea we won against the Hungary team but no one enjoyed watching that team ....

there was no time we had issues with enjoying the football played by the nwakali set, we just not doing what we needed to do....... enaholo inclusion is baseless, alampasu is still better, success should have been in this team , nwakili is beeter than his replacement, okay whoever replaced Samuel okon at left back isn't better either, can't remember who played right back buh that nigga is better ... and all the aforementioned players would have influenced this game...... yahaya ,,,,ihenacho my brother I don't know if u watched the team so far ...team play hasn't been our strongest point...... the boys he replaced well that team should have been developed not substituted......
Those boys were good at U17. Bt this is U20. This is a much more competitive level where 19 & 20 yrs olds hu are already senior team professionals feature.
All those Iheanacho, Nwakali, Yahaya, Alampasu, Ezeh that u mentioned are jst academy/ cadet players. Sorry they cant compete at this level.

We can represent Yahaya, Nacho, Awoniyi and co for d next U20. They will still b within d age grade and by den would have gained more experience.

my bad then, confused them for the Neur set, buh at least one you won't disagree is that the German youth teams are always consistent......... in the course of development its basically the bulk of the youth team that played a lower cadre that ger promoted .....and that's why the German teams last ..... my point is...manu garba nurtured this side and knew his players aside from anything if they players he used u17 the eldest should be 20 at most so where are they.....

our left and right backs have been problems since the tourney began.....and our keeper.?.... story ...
Bros twill interest u to know dat the likes of Yahaya, Iheanacho, Awoniyi, Ezeh, Nwakali, Muhammed, Bello,Alampasu are 18yrs or less & are nt yet playing professional football.Manu doesnt want to go to d U20 WC with U18 cadet players dat's y he added players like Godwin, Mathew,Sokari, Moses, Ndidi, Enaholo, Success who are 19 & 20 yrs olds & are playing senior professional football. Age, size & experience count in football.

aside from what is happening here , our problem still remains consistency .....the German bulk is that of their previous under l 7 that we beat and yet in our team new names everywhere, our previous team for what was worth did not have defensive problems at least we were to build and now it seems we building all over

dint even finish they have scored and just look at the goall ...alampasu wouldn't let that .....
Lies!
1. Nigeria did nt play Germany at last U17
2. 90% of the German players are already 20yrs olds meaning they were 18yrs old 2 yrs ago and hence did nt feature at d last U17.

possession so far... Germany 75% - 25% Nigeria...

Why we didn't start Yahya is a wonder...
So it was bc Yahaya is nt playing dat we are having only 25% ball possession

I dnt know those dat have been clamouring for Nacho & Yahaya to b included in d Super Eagles. Bt i have never been one of them.
U cannot sit down with ur keyboard ånd start typing and querrying d coaches' decisions. Manu knows this team more dan us all.He has been with them for well over 4yrs. Learn to trust his decisions.
Sports › Re: Throwback Pic Of Stephen Keshi, Peter Rufai, Others In The 80s by Icon4s(m): 8:12am On Jun 11, 2015
This obviousely is nt the Seoul Olympic Team. Linda Ikeji or where ever this came from got it wrong. Peter Rufai and Stephen Keshi were never part of the class of '88 Olympics team. The Seoul Olympic goalies were Willfred Agbinavbare, David Ngodigha and Willie Okpara.

This was the Green Eagles of '88. Though Sam Okwaraji was also in d Olympics team. The Seoul 88 memory is still fresh in my head and i still remember most of d players.

I totally disagree with you on this, Mikel during his u20 days was just a complete creative midfielder he does the clean job and supply creative passes for the attackers. But in this present team we have some other creative midfielders like Yahaha nd Moses that will give you this creativity nd as well get you very clean goals in case your attackers are silent in the game.
Yahaya and Moses are playing different roles compared to Mikel. Moses and Yahaya are more of winger & Attacking middfielder respectively while Mikel played more of central Midfield. Yahaya abd Moses are more comparable with Chinedu Ogbuike Obasi and John Owoeri.

I reiterate dat i have nt seen any player in d calibre of Mikel of U20 in this midfield.

I didn’t miss a sec of the 2013 CAF U-17 championship. It’s true that Bulbwa was benching Iheanacho back then but during that competition Bulbwa was very wasteful in front of goal. No disrespect to Bulbwa’s skills, ability to dribble and run with the ball but the below attributes will make me pick Iheanacho over Bulbwa currently:
- Higher conversion rate in terms of goal scoring which means we can score more of the chances created.
- Sharp eyes for goal
- Forward minded and Less dribbling (mostly interchanging of passes), attack moved faster.
- Combines well with other attackers (Awoniyi's combination with Iheanacho at Dubia 2013 was like that of siamese twins).

Bulbwa can always come into the game to waste time just like Mikel does for Chelsea.
Firstly it was UAE 2013 & not Dubai 2013.

All those attributes of Iheanacho that u listed were during the last U17 WC.This isd U20s and it is like 2steps above d U17 Do u know whether Bulbwa would have done better if he didnt fail d MRI test?

Garba Manu knows thé individual players abilities more than you and I.
Trust Manu's judgement on this one. Bulbwa brings more to d table than Iheanacho.

And comparing Mikel with Bulbwa, Mikel was much better than all d Midfielders in this team when he was U20.

Still finding it strange that he sits on the bench while Bulbwa plays. plus he was played in the wrong position against Brazil. just for the simple fact that he wears "10" doesn't mean he is a midfielder (he is an attacker) sad. #Manuknowsbest
Bulbwa kept Iheanacho on d bench
-during 2013 CAF U17 Qualifiers
-And also during d 2013 CAF U17 Championship
-Iheanacho got his first appearance in d tourney in d 1-0 lose to CIV when he came in as a 2nd half sub for d less than impressive Bulbwa.
-Iheanacho started in d 3rd game against Congo and d sebsequent semi and final game.
-Iheanacho scored 4goals in d 3games he played
-Bulbwa failed d MRI before d FIFA U17 WC and nacho pined down d shirt.
-Fast forward to U20 & Bulbwa is back keeping Iheanacho on d bench during d AYC qualifiers.
-Mancity did nt release Iheanacho for d AYC and Bulbwa pined down d shirt.
-Now dey are both in d team and Bulbwa is benching Iheanacho again.

Does this nt mean dat Bulbwa is more useful to d team dan Iheanacho?

i have seen the games of all the teams u mentioned, i will say they are all gud sides but that doesnt make them unbeatable, we jux saw what mali did to ghana who won her group.... Nigeria is as strong as portugal, germany and brazil. The coach made a mistake in the first game by starting players who havent been in the team for some time but he corrected that and now the team is okay... They can beat any team in this tournament provided other things go well for them.
Jst like how Portugal, Brazil or Germany can equally beat any team in this tourney if other things go well for them.

My brother i am nt saying we cannot win rhis cup. Bt what i am saying is it is safe to say we are among the top 4-6 favourites for now.

so u mean the boys havent convinced u enuf that they can win the cup?
Portugal, Brazil, Germany and Nigeria. Are u sure we stand taller than d other 3 teams?

Infact even if we beat Germany we are still nt favorites if Brasil and Portugal also win their games.

At this stage of d competition u cannot b claiming to b favorites of a Championship u have never won. Portugal are twice winners and Brazil have won 4times plus both teams have an excellent outing thus far.

For me we are top 4 favourites for now

Talking abt being cinvinced abt how dey play. I have seen better Flying Eagles than these. Did u watch d 1989 and 2005sets?Yet both teams didnt win it. Go and search for some of their matches and come back tell me ur observations.
