Amuneke is my first choice but I like Siasia too. But how can he even concentrate on the job right now with everything hanging over his head? O pari Oasis001:

Samson Siasia is always my Choice as local Coach. He's serving Ban, thus can't even be considered for the Job. |

KPOM! My only concern is the NFF bringing us another clueless coach especially someone like Daniel Amokachie or some foreign journeyman coach. Right now, I think Emmanuel Amuneke is the right person to takeover the team. And they better fire him right away if they wanna get rid of him. That will give the new coach a few months before the next international break and AFCON to come up with his program for the team. Don’t wait until two weeks before AFCON to change coaches. As a matter of fact, they have left it too late already. Rohr should’ve been fired on the day we lost to Argentina. O pari safarigirl: I don't even think you people realise how low Super Eagles have fallen, that is why some of you are still concerning yourselves with frivolities on this matter.
Keshi sparked a resurgence in the excitement for Nigerian football, people wanted to watch the team play, people were excited to see the team play.
Rohr has dragged us back to woeful times, although, in his defense, the likes of Oliseh started the decline. Today, no channel of repute will show even our World Cup Qualifying games and no Nigerian is concerned.
We are back to the trenches, and it is a travesty considering all of the exciting talent we have on display.

Yup. The African qualifiers are by far the toughest ones to navigate. And what annoys me the most is that these Arab countries only know how to compete against Sub Sahara African countries but they will collapse once they get on the world stage. I hope none of them makes it this time around. I would rather have: Nigeria Cameron Senegal Mali Congo DRc or Ghana representing Africa than the likes of Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco, and Egypt. O pari andrewbaba44: South Americans go always win those Oceania teams for playoff and it’s likely to be new Zealand |

Good point. Uruguay being out is fake news. I mean, even if they don’t make the top 4, they can still qualify via the playoffs. O pari andrewbaba44: Wetin consign you and Uruguay abi same be Senegal or Ivory Coast ?
And Uruguay is not out ,stop passing false information ,they are loosing against Bolivia and still on same point with 4th place and still have 4 games to go |

He did well with his Euro team tho. But his management style was piss poor, that’s why they fired him. O pari jihday: you people keep saying he’s a good coach but his results for Nigeria says otherwise |

Good point. They know that Rohr is desperate to hold onto the job, that’s why they stuck with him … someone they can push around and tell which players to invite or not invite. O pari safarigirl: NFF cannot owe Amuneke, they know it.
Nobody in their right senses and with respect for their career, will take the Nigerian coaching job right now. Not while the current administration remains |

Good point on the Naija factor sha. As regards to Sunday Oliseh, he’s a good coach but a very poor man manager. I don’t wanna see him anywhere near Super Eagles team again, as a coach. O pari codemaniacs: Amuneke will also have to play according to the instructions of the NFF and what part of Nigeria the president is from matters a lot in Nigeria.... Oliseh is also a good coach but he also had to play according to the NFF and that disrupted and disorganized the team coupled with Oliseh's behavior towards the players.. |

Emmanuel Amuneke is 10x better than Gernot Rohr as a coach. If we have problems playing against the likes of Central African Republic, Liberia, and Cape Verde; how are we going to compete against the likes of CIV, Ghana, Tunisia, or Cameron? And he barely makes any changes during the course of the game. Strange! O pari safarigirl: I personally think the team would play better without a coach, than with Rohr on the sidelines.
Just give boys ball and tell them to play to win, and they would do better than what we have had to witness the last two games |

Gernot Rohr has overstayed his welcome, for real. There was ZERO pressure on Ahmed Musa on that penalty, so it was quite an easy goal to score. I mean, we’ve already technically won the match and Musa’s penalty was the last kick of the game. Gosh, even my grandma would’ve buried that one. And how can he use cold weather as an excuse when almost all our players reside in Europe? Is Morocco colder than Europe? O pari Joebie:
Na old age they worry this baba.
"Musa came in and scored the second goal, it is not easy to score a penalty especially if you come in only a few minutes so I was very happy about the two changes."
"Morocco it was cold, it was not easy for them to come in, we didn't want to make a mistake at 1-0 and to concede a goal."
--Gernot Rohr |

True sha. I can predict Nigeria’s group even before we qualify sef: - Argentina - Most inform Euro team - Nigeria - Any other country O pari M7even: I'd Italy plays Portugal or doesn't change anything, because should Nigeria qualify we would still face Argentina at the world cup which we can assume the scoreline |

Big Joe, thanks for confirming. I really hope it pans out. Aribo has the potential to be a top player. Haha. I am a Messi fan so what do you think O pari Joebie: There has been talks about Aribo having interests from various EPL clubs. I wouldn't be surprised as he was one of Gerard's top players.

And by the way, Switzerland just won their World Cup qualifying group, which means Italy goes to the playoffs. How I wish that Italy would draw Portugal in the playoffs O pari Joebie: My sources tell me Gerrard is interested in the SE job. |
