He’s a forward, he can play from the flanks while either Awoniyi or Iheanacho plays centrally. But let’s Safari said, it’s all good, we’ll see today whether Sadiq Umar is an Eagles material or just a quota candidate. O pari Fabuloski: Henry is not a striker |

Good point I couldn’t have put it any better myself. Let’s hope that Egu can start all these fringe players, so we can see with our korokoro eyes whether Sadiq Umar and Kelechi Nwakali, in particular, are the pretenders or the contenders O pari safarigirl: In all things, let us be thankful these controversial players get to start today, because people have been giving us the excuse that it is because they are not Starting that they appear poor
Na today we go know who dey speak factually and who dey speak sentimentally

This Sadiq Umar, is it on Egu’s contract that he has to play? The guy has been useless in two games but still gotta start today while Henry Onyekuru would remain on the bench? But I am glad that Uzohor, Ebuehi, Iwobi, and Ejuke are starting tho. O pari andrewbaba44: According to OGN ,this is naija line up for today’s game
Uzoho
Ebuehi Ekong Ajayi Collins
Ndidi Nwakali Iheanacho
Ejuke Iwobi Sadiq Umar
I must say I am happy for sadiq umar ,and hope he takes this chance
Would have loved to see onyeka and olayinka starting today |

I kept asking myself where CAF got that referee from. He was worse than even our high school refs. His performance today was a disgrace to African footie. No wonder Juergen Klopp described AFCON as a small tournament in Africa. O pari Icon4s: In all my life I have never seen this type of refereeing in an international game. He can be forgiven for the two penalty decisions. But some refs won't give that penalty against Tunisia. That Malian player didn't deserve a red card. And then ending the game first in the 85th and then 89th Mins. Meanwhile, there was a water break, two penalties that needed VAR decision and a red card that was checked via VAR.
That guy should be sent home from this AFCON. He is not a REf |

Yup. Aina was definitely my MoM. I don’t remember him getting beaten one on one by any Egyptian player today and his forward forays were a joy to behold. Omeruo was a rock in the defense as well. Let’s hope and pray that the knock he received is minor. O pari TheSuperNerd: You know.... I was just about to analyse on Ola Aina and I realised he would be 4th in my list of top performers. It is crazy coz he is actually the highest rated player on Sofascore. Aina dropped a Masterclass showing today. No caps.
Like i said, all the players had Solid showings. Even Omeruo and Ekong were absolutely solid and their ball playing from the back was beautiful to behold. |

I concur. Simon actually impressed me today and I am one of his biggest critics. I think today is one of his best games in the Super Eagles shirt. All in all, my MoM is Ola Aina. Honorable mentions: - Kenneth Omeruo - Moses Simon - Joe Aribo - Wilf Ndidi Others were just average. O pari TheSuperNerd: His cross led to our goal. And his crosses caused mayhem in the box almost everytime for Egypt even though he could have done better with the accuracy of the delivery.
Just give it to the man. He did great today.
And yes Ejuke was good too when he came on but he wasted a beautiful opportunity set up by Nwakali. |

It looks like the only thing Egypt learned from Rohr is how not to make timely substitutions in the cause of the game. I see Egypt equalizing this game if time isn’t taken.
OK. It looks like Ejuke and Sadiq are about to come on.

Safari, what’s your moniker on Twitter? O pari safarigirl: The lineup is decent, give or take a few persons.
Still, their inclusion can be justified. I don't know why some people on this thread are weeping and gnashing their teeth, Twitter people are even happy about the line-up.
Looking forward to a good game. |

Actually, Ekong is giving me a bigger heartburn than Omeruo. In addition, I would’ve preferred that we use two DMs (Ndidi and Onyeka) in this game. O pari Samueltemi337: The forward Line is good
Simon Moses is good defensively

Well, Ekong hasn’t been that good for the Super Eagles over the past few matches. In my opinion, the only reason Rohr kept playing him is because of the partnership with Balogun. The CB position is one area most coaches don’t like to make changes unless you have to do. O pari komekn: I thought emphasis here is on AFCON form whatever that maybe, that seems to be the dominant opinion.
Because club form has nothing to do with selection for AFCON. |

This will not be a bad selection but, if I am selecting, I’d with either Awaziem/Ajayi or Awaziem/Omeruo and put Ekong’s behind on the bench. The bobo don loose form badly. O pari Samueltemi337: So this what Eguavoen want to play

Coal City is the home of soccer, no question. O pari ChrisKels: I be Achara layout, through and through. Me and others including Edu Malaga(Chisom Egbuchulam's younger brother), Obinja(Obinna Nwobo) who was a mass server then for All Saints Catholic church were ball boys when the likes of Chinedu Ogbuke Obasi, Flavour N'abania(ezigbote JB ) and co were playing street football at St Paul's semi Sandy pitch.

Bros, I don’t know about Belgium but I have watched practically every single game Ndidi has played in Leicester City and the only time they used him as CB was when almost of their CBS: Evans, Soyinchu, Fofana, Amartey, etc were hit with injuries. That doesn’t mean that CB is his natural position or that he even plays that position well. It was a makeshift thing, out of necessity. And I will definitely not have him as a CB in a team where we have natural CBs: Balogun, Akpoguma, Omeruo, Ekong, Ajayi, and Awaziem. O pari do4luv14: Actually this is not the first time he will be playing CB, if you follow his club football well, you will know he had played a number of times there, both in Belgium, and England

What is Shiloh? History of Shiloh
The modern-day Shiloh is an annual meeting of Christian believers of the Living Faith Church Worldwide (A.K.A) Winners Chapel, held at the church’s international headquarters in Canaan land, Ota, in accordance with a mandate from Joshua 18:1 and I Samuel 1: 3.
This global event started in 1999 and has been held every year since there. It typically takes place in the first week of every December and it also marks the end of the church year.
The objective of the celebration, according to the church, is to herald God’s visitation to his people.
Millions of people had attended the event by 2012. Bishop David Oyedepo said that up to 160 countries had signed up for Shiloh 2015, with nationals from 55 countries present in Canaanland, Ogun State.
Theme of Shiloh 2021
The theme for SHILOH 2021 is MORE THAN A CONQUEROR. The Anchor Scripture Is Romans 8:35-37.

He’s a great talent, no question about that. And he hasn’t even started playing sef. His potential is massive. Give him 2 to 3 years and you’ll have a real star player. O pari nelszx: Such a fine player with magical feet. Plays CM and CAM positions (something we don't have in plethora). Talents abounds and I wonder what the scout in the UK actually does to recommend these players to the coach.
Rohr stubborn self will still carry Shehu and Musa join body. I'm just infuriated he hasn't been let go yet after 2 weeks. Is he that he got us by the balls or he's above been sacked.
Rohr can't give what he obviously doesn't have. We need a new coach maybe that will instill some seriousness and a breathe of fresh air into these boys cos I really do not understand this NFF and Rohr back and forth. What's with the paparazzi in sacking the old man |
