Thank you! That's one thing that gets me riled me most about all these silly comparisons between Messi and Cristiano. Yea...yeah, Cristiano is better because he has scored more goals than Messi.
First of all, all goals are NOT created equal. Watch Cristiano's mostly tap in goals and compare them to the masterpiece we receive from Messi.
Second, football is much more than goal scoring. If you really wanna make a legit comparison, then you gotta compare their overall body of work in the game and tell me who's superior. For instance, with 28 weeks gone in La Liga, Messi has more goals, assists, shots at goal, completed dribbles and created chances than any other player. Now, where's the comparison?!
Third, the two players don't even play the same positions either. Messi is a #10 whereas Cristiano is technically a #7 (forget the fact that he wears jersey #7).

And I can go on and on ....

Hey, listen, if you wanna argue with me, argue the facts and don't try to put words into my mouth. I did not say anything about Cristiano scoring a penalty goal in the 2016/17 UEFA Champions League. What I said is that about 20% of ALL the goals he have scored in the UCL were either penalties or offside goals. Those are true statements. A quick google search would show you that one Cristiano Ronaldo has taken (and has scored) the most penalties in UEFA Champions League.
