Thank you, my dear! I had the same thing on Twitter as well. The NFF need to allow Rohr to bring back his assistants. Coaching is no longer a one man job in modern game. They can leave Yobo to understudy Rohr but the man needs a real supporting cast.

O pari

somehow:
What Rohr lacks is what he needs in an assistant

But what can Yobo offer?

So we should not expect any tactical magic from the coaching crew.

He has never made any sub that changed the course of a match for good in 3yrs counting.

Hopefully, the players will help themselves once given the chance.

Bros, do you understand what having A SHOT ON TARGET actually means? If so, please, tell us exactly when Alex Iwobi and Ebuehi had those shots on target that we’re talking abouthuh

FYI - Shooting wide off target isn’t the same thing as having a shot on target. I was mostly frustrated by Iwobi’s shot because he actually has a few players in good position he could’ve passed the ball, to go one on one with the goalie.

O pari

humility33:
Iwobi posed a threat to that goal keeper and even had a shot on target which onaichu never had even Tyrone had a shot on target

Onaichu was waiting to be feed 10 chances so that he could convert one

Someone like oshimen and nacho would have drift the middle or see need to interchange with the wingers just to press on and make a goal

But the clumsy tall striker was just there doing nothing

Off course I don't like seeing him in super eagles shirt

Here’s the full game, you can watch it again, this time without tension. We weren’t too bad. The only problem with our game: they overran our midfield, which is understandable as we play with a makeshift midfield pairing.

Both teams haven’t played together in nearly 1 year, so that’s to be expected.

Unfortunately, I think that many Naija “fans” are just too dumb to know how to put things in perspectives.

O pari

It will still count for FIFA ranking

Guys please calm da fukk down, Abeg. This just a freaking friendly game. These guys haven’t played together in almost a year. In addition, we’re missing almost half of our starting eleven, so I don’t know what da feck some of y’all were expecting.

On current form, Algeria is the best team in Africa so I think the boys gave a good account of themselves considering that we were missing our best players.

Don’t waste your time, Komekn is a lost cause.

The dude is a sad case angry sad shocked

O pari

junnyjake:
Double standard?

What would Rohr gain by deliberately stalling the switching process of English players? It has been explained to you why it takes longer when the English FA is concerned, then, why are you still latching onto that?

How many Germans has Rohr brought to the team? Okoye, Akpoguma, anyone else?

Akpoguma won't start today's game.

KPOM!!!

I have said it several times but some people still don’t get it. Our players are better, much better, than the football clubs they play for. African players are badly undervalued by European clubs, that’s why you’d need to develop your own league.

O pari

humility33:
Let me say this bro, if our players were english nationals

i can stick my bet on it that more than 6 of them will start for england
it's like you guys don't know the hype and support english players get in europe

someone like Ebuehi would have been purchased by Spurs, Ndidi by now would
have been hyped to high heavens and teams like Man United would break the bank for him

Oshimen probably would have been in one of english elite clubs, Nacho being an english
player won't suffer the maltreatment he gets in Leicester as he would have opt on loan to
one of the english clubs and play regularly

Samu would have been priced out of Villareal by one of the English elite clubs in fee close to
100 million pounds. Kalu by now would have been in teams like Everton and many more

English born players do enjoy some priviliges and also we can tell that Nigeria and Africa players
really need to put more effort than their english counterpart to get managers and club management favour

I heard that Algeria is missing one of their star players tho (I forgot his name), but we’re missing way too many of our star performers, Ndidi and Osihmen in particular are irreplaceable but don’t forget the goalkeeper. And we gonna miss Etebo’s high work rate plus Aribo’s creativity.

O pari

smartsmith0907:
I am scared I see rohr playing a kind of mourihno/simeone style tomorrow I really miss the likes of Osihmen,Ndidi even ehzibue
I'm expecting a draw or an early goal which might end 1-0 in our favor
Let's see how tomorrow go be sha.

SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Icon79(m): 9:11pm On Oct 08, 2020
Oh, I see. I haven’t watched any of the practice games. Well, let’s hope that Ekong is still match sharp.

To me, this Algerian game should’ve been the second match to help us make corrections and ensure that we beat them. We can’t afford to lose to them again.

O pari

smartsmith0907:
Exactly but the problem now is apkoguma is the best defender in the camp no caps rohr is just finding who can actually blend in with him but it no other than Ekong even balogun is giving A+ performance
In one of the mini training it started with kelvin and ekong later on ajayi came in for ekong but it seems ekong and kelvin seems better than that of Ajayi i think I mentioned that yesterday
So

I think Ajayi and even Omeruo may ahead of him. I expect our initial CB pairing to be: Akpoguma and Semi Ajayi.

Zaidu. Apkoguma. Ekong. Ebuehi

Tammy not playing because he (along with Sancho and Chilwell) broke the team’s COVID 19 protocol. They are suspended from the camp until tomorrow. So that has nothing to do with whether or not Southgate rates him.

O pari

Tammy not playing shows Southgate really rate him.

All those on the field for England are just training materials.

Say whathuh

Ndidi can play as a 4, as a 6, and even as a #2. gosh, Leicester city even used him as a CB in a couple of games this season before he got injured.

Bro, Wilfred Ndidi is a mister versatility if ever there’s one.
