That is what is called "Hear Say", no body accepts that in court. I don't understand why you guys always turn emergency Judges each time Atiku's issues come up. Leave the court to decide on the case based on evidence presented before them. Your perpetual wailing on this case is becoming boring

Okwyla: Ghana is the latest country to be granted a visa-free status by the South African government.
South Africa’s Department of Home Affairs has added Ghana to a list of seven countries whose nationals will be permitted to enter South Africa visa-free. Nigeria was not included despite the large volume of trade between the two countries.
South Africa announced in September 2018, that it was finalising a number of visa waiver agreements with other countries including Ghana to allow travellers to enter the country without a visa.
According to the Minister of Home Affairs, Aaron Motsoaledi, citizens of the seven countries are able to enter South Africa without a visa.
“Tourism will soar if we relax visa requirements for entry into South Africa. We know that Tourism is very important for job creation,” he said today at a briefing in South Africa.
“Out of the 193 countries who are member states of the United Nations, the Department has granted visa-free status to 75 countries. Of these 16 are in our continent and are SADC members and 59 are from all over the world.”
https://www.akelicious.net/2019/07/south-africa-ignores-nigeria-grants.html I support SA on this. In fact, those over 3 million Nigerians hiding in USA and UK should be arrested and sent back home. Those hypocritical and over-religious people will vote archaic and mentally deficient leaders based on ethnocentric and religious affiliations but would later run away to countries where citizens vote in good leaders. It will be a very bad idea for any country with stable economy to grant Nigeria, a hypocritical over-religious country where docile citizens allow leaders to do anything and get away from it, Visa-Free Status or else such country won't be able to withstand the aftermath of such dangerous policy. Kudos to SA on this |

Yes, Fulani is a major ethnic group in Nigeria As per the bolded and to correct the misinformation. Fulani is not the major ethnic group in Nigeria. Supreme Court is now saying even if you are 1000000 millions times right and supposed to win a case, what you need to lose a case is for just one judge to deliberately absent himself from court. And for you to win an election, just make sure you cause chaos and violence in your opponent strongholds for supplementary election to be held there later while rigging your strongholds handsomely and knowing the results beforehand with the help of security agencies esp when you are friends with the Federal Government. Smh! This is not the type of Supreme Court we used to have when we had people like Justice Kayode Eso, Chukwudifu Oputa and the rest |

Debramaye: This is the most reasonable post I've seen on niaraland in a while so I had to log back in to comment, (should've commented last night sha)
AVR (Automatic voltage regulator) helps keep the voltage at 220v or around that level no matter the speed of the generator engine..
Small gen uses one small capacitors only and lack AVR
Big Gens and even those smallest elepaq yellow standard Gens (the cousins of I pass my neighbor that are similar to medium Gens in look) use both small AVRs and bigger capacitors (those white big ones)
Your phcn aka NEPA uses large AVR grids at transformers powerline stops to help keep voltage at 220v which sometimes fails when more than needed buildings (load) connect to a single transformer stop which leads to low voltage and sometimes spoils the transformer or the AVR equipment
In conclusion I pass my neighbor gen is not good for use at all, because of lack of AVR in the small gen nothing regulates the voltage and it's fluctuations can be unpredictable which could lead to damage of your electronics I end it here This is precise, detailed and extremely enlightening. You too sabi book I swear |

agabusta: Mandated? Were u with them when the chairman 'mandated' Obiora to read the lead judgment. What made u ignore the possibility of the two of them with similar judgment coming to an agreement on who to deliver the lead judgment. Are they all not collegues?
You cannot seriously be blaming the chairman for the judgment written by another Justice.
Is it the chairman that asked him to make the proceedings of the day he was absent to be the crux of his ruling??
Wole Olanipekun said it is important for a judicial officer to be on ground to observe the mien and dispositions of witnesses. That was one of his grounds of appeal.
The implication of this is that what Justice Obiora wrote down amounted to hearsay. The position of law courts on hearsay is trite law. I still maintain my stand they knew what they were doing which would ultimately nullify the whole process at the Supreme Court. Their initial and clandestine plan worked perfectly |

Politics › Re: Osun election: is Justice Obiora a Saboteur or just Incompetent? by id911(m): 8:28pm On Jul 05, 2019 |
agabusta: The chairman of the panel cannot read the lead judgment as his own judgement was in the minority. The Lead judgment has to be in tandem with the majority judgement.
Technicality is not the preserve of only one party.
If Adeleke's lawyer was smart enough, he should have realised that the proceedings of that 6th Feb was very critical to the Judgment that gave them victory and as a senior lawyer, he should have realised that the person reading the lead judgment was absent on this critical day.
He should have cross appealed the victory judgment. They also have the right to cross appeal.
Instead of alleging foul play with the justices, why not hold Adeleke's lawyer for incompetence, irresponsible and short sightedness. I didn't say the Chairman was the one to deliver the lead judgment but rather Obiora that was absent on Feb 6th was curiously mandated to read the lead judgment. The Chairman, knowing the gravity of Obiora's absence should have adjourn the sitting for that day but he went ahead to continue with the proceedings. I'm thinking Adeleke legal team thought the Supreme Court would overlook the 'minor' technicality involved and dwell on the substantive issue but they unfortunately, were wrong. |

NaijaElba: I love how u analyse all these our court issue, I also appreciate the fact that you didnt want to pre-emt the decision of the court since their case is clearly different from Osun court case. What I really don't understand in the presidential election is the position of the agents (APC and PDP) in all these brouhaha. Where were they when the results were being collated? I think they should be able to tell us if INEC really sent the results to server, they should tell us if the results generated manually is different from what it is on server. If Atiku can have access to the server it is also possible for him to alter it to his own favour. Lastly, the server results never showed the results of other parties, this is the main reason I doubt the genuity of the whole server result. what is your take on this pls? Sorry for the late reply cos I was busy offline. Yes, INEC did e-collation, anyone saying otherwise is satanic. I wasn't an Agent in the last elections but I was heavily involved in the process. If you had followed the prehearing proceedings, you would have heard the testimonies of some of them. The manual results were altered and, as the result therefore, quite different from the server's own which, to the best of my knowledge, is genuine that's why INEC is trying to erase the issue of server completely. If you say Atiku can alter server results to favor him, is it not the more reason why Tribunal should have allowed Forensic examinations to ascertain who's wrong or right? All the other results are shown on the server including the other smaller parties, don't let the media deceive you. The major priority objective of PDP is to focus on its own results and that of APC. |
