OlujobaSamuel:I won't argue bro...just wait for the Supreme Court verdicts and reasons for it on Kano issue, then you can get back to me. I didn't say Tribunal or Appeal Court o, I said Supreme |
ezenwajosh:Since Obiora was absent on that day, the proper thing the Tribunal Chairman could have done was to adjourn the sitting but he didn't do it. That was why I said they all knew what they were doing. They sit on odd not even |
NaijaElba:You know, sometimes when I or some of us say something about the polity, some mischievous elements would like to ignorantly start abusing someone. In the case of the last election, INEC initially claimed they had no server but later said they have servers but they didn't make use of it which the court noted. People are arguing Electronic Transmission of results and ultimately anything electronic as it relates to elections is unconstitutional but they refuse to also accept that Electoral Act gives INEC power to determine how the elections should be conducted. Is Smart Card Reader a Mechanical equipment? Why did INEC use it for accreditation and the results emanating from it becomes valied? If you use an electronic equipment to accredit voters and directed that those who were not able to be accredited through that means shouldn't be allowed to vote but turnaround to say E-collation is unconstitutional that means the whole process is invalid. Again, why did the Electoral Umpire trained it staff members and Ad-hoc Staff on E-collation prior to the elections? Atiku is asking for Forensic experts to exermine the servers which the Tribunal ridiculously refused to grant him access so, that issue is now at the Supreme Court. Meanwhile, the issue of server is only one ground and there are other grounds which Atiku is hinging on to validate his mandate. Atiku and Buhari's case is very dicey and I wouldn't want to pre-emt the decision of the court |
Rolings:https://www.nairaland.com/5283361/two-court-justices-upheld-sen The lead judgment was solely based on technicality. Without the absence of Obiora, it would have been a unanimous decision for Adeleke because he had already fulfilled constitutional requirements and the rerun not needed |
babyfaceafrica:Remember Zamfara? I said the same thing here that so far Osho Baba as APC Chairman and INEC had said something already invalidating their primaries that whenever the case gets to the Supreme Court, nothing can save them. Although Osho Baba later recounted from his initial statements because of pressure from above and said there were primaries and some positions were unopposed, did that help them? no. You need a loophole in the law to win some certain cases but when non is available and it's clear, nothing anyone can do for you |
babyfaceafrica:I know but Sir, remember the substantive issue was not touch at all in the lead judgment. So, if you read the dissenting judgements of Justices Adamu Galinje and Kumai Akaahs, you would understand that Ganduje is as good as gone |
tuniski:The rerun was unnecessary both in Osun and Kano because the winners had already emerged. So Osung case is now settled on technicality but Kano might be different. I don't think Ganduje would survive it based on the judgement of today at the Supreme Court except something funny happens again at the trial Court |
PFRB:We are talking about the tribunal but you're saying Supreme Court. It's like you lack basic comprehension skills |
Johnnyessence:Yes, I've been following it from the onset. God bless you too bro |
Shuku0kukobambi:No, I don't. He couldn't have done it alone without collaborating with his colleagues at the tribunal. All of them knew the implications. It was done because of powerful external influence. They knew Adeleke had already fulfilled the requirements of the law at first ballot and the rerun was unnecessary, it was only technicality that could help. Ask yourself why the Chairman of the tribunal still went ahead to give Obiora the mandate to write the lead judgment and the chairman ridiculously dissented in his own minority judgement he later delivered to serve as a leeway for Oyetola at the higher court. |
The absence of Justice Obiora was deliberate and they knew it, that was the only way to give APC victory and was clandestinely agreed by all trial justices at the tribunal so that Oyetola would emerge victorious at the end. That was why Obiora was still the one given the mandate to write the lead judgment at the tribunal. They knew that would nullify the whole proceedings at the Supreme Court. Oyetola had a very bad case so, without technicality, it's over for him and that was what they did. Nigeria is a funny country |
May God bless Reno! And may He continue to bless President Atiku Abubakar Soon, our stolen mandate freely given to us by majority of Nigerians will be retrieved

Masterclass32:At the bolded, why was Osinbajo, a pastor and minister of God lying to Nigerians he isn't incharge of this RUGA bruhaha? Even Garba Shehu has confirmed today on Channels TV that Osinbajo is the Chairman of RUGA Committee. He has shamelessly lied too many times trying to defend this useless government instead of resigning as a supposed man of God. SMH If it's only Tinubu and Osinbajo that are the only ones on the Presidential ballot, I would campaign and vote for Tinubu a million times than this hypocritical lying pastor. |
SarkinYarki:May God bless you for this. Apart from suppressing oppositions, Abacha was by far better than this useless nonentity called Buhari in all ramifications. |

Odinaka00:You're lucky you're in SA with your pretty lady. Naija men with raw cash no get joy at all. They can spend anyhow just to bed someone's wife and cause confusion among couples. If your woman is not extremely strong willed, she could fall for them except you're also rich and very good to her or she's a Nigerian who understands some certain things and maybe afraid of what people would say. If na foreign wife u marry carry come naija, na wahala if she too fine. IK too dey flaunt dat beautiful damsel anyhow, how these people no go spend anything to entice her as she be foreigner? Ik to me is dumb, I can't marry that kind goddess carry come naija come stay except I don get my kids finish or I'm extremely rich. Nigerian rich men are some of the biggest 'spenders' you can find anywhere in the world. |
When the idiot IK dey always flaunt his wife and carry him irresistible wife go E-Money house and the house of those wey get money pass am by far, how him wife no go jakpa? |
