The decree 34 in clear terms, long before state creation that he is trying to tell us collapsed regional system. Which law or decree made state creation constitutional or better still, possible?

You see your problem, you are not a smart person and the sad part is that it is a natural trait for you. If you are smart enough you would have gotten the source document, the original decree itself and you will see that what Ironsi did was to centralize the civil service such that all regions do not report to their governors but to the centre which is similar to a command structure in the military. Again as you can see you mentioned regions and we all know that Ironsi didn't collapse the regions but rather it was Gowon that colapsed the regions into states.

Again i dare you to show us the original decree 31(Unitary decree) let us all read it in full. Don't give me a propaganda newspaper like the Nation newspaper as a definitive source because that write up is the opinion of the writer which is not a statement of fact.
We all know the truth that Ironsi didn't collapse the regions, but rather it was Gowon with Decree 8 who abolished regions and created states.
Okay, the smart one who could not take the pain to educate himself on something he feels he has a reasonable doubt over. I should go about looking for the National Library for you to please you? Cos you are as important as Garri Ijebu? If you like read, if you like don't read. If you like continue with your false narratives as it makes you feel better, it's the self denials that has always been the case. But the truth remains the truth , people that matters know about it and constantly being in denial doesn't alter the truth at all.

All the best.

Yes, agreed! Ipob loves Tinubu so much. The release of Nnamdi Kanu should top his priority. Otherwise he is an ingrate, with all the massive good image press publications and overwhelming supported and votes he got from the South East. Infact, he should make a verbal release statement from london. Nnamdi Kanu is a patriotic Nigerian.

Everybody is surprised that Nigeria is still one.

The hatred and energy with which every region despised other region is out of this world..

The hate is not anywhere near other countries hate each other..

However the strangest thing is that only the SE has actually shown that they want autonomy...than you chronic unity beggars.

You guys hate them people, yet you would do anything on earth to make sure you share this same country as them.

This is absurd.
We will let you go when will feel like. Not your cries, gragra, shouts, blackmails, terrorism will. Play the right politics and be humble. You will get what you want. But if you think attacking other sections, calling their lands no mans land because you have shops there in Sabongari or Alaba or brazen sinister meddling and opposition of their own state politics and political direction will get you your autonomy. I will say Good luck then. You can't get what you want on your own.

Indeed. It is crucial even because Nigeria will only work again if Nigerians are given incentives that will make them believe their efforts will amount to something good. Otherwise entrenched 'one Nigeria' hopelessness will continue to kill us.

At the moment, Nigeria is such a horrendously divided and disunited nation to the extent patriotism for the nation is dead in most Nigerians.

Give people the assurance they can shape their region as they truly wish, to secure a bright and prosperous future, without 'one Nigeria' encumbrance, and the patriotism and healthy competition will return to really spur the growth of our nation.

The economic vagrancy of Igbos means they will fight for 'one Nigeria' despite their Biafra noise. They make their money outside the SE and from people they have never learnt to value or respect. We are no longer fooled by their hypocrisy and deceit.

The North , as you correctly opined, may be resistive of anything that promotes regional autonomy, which means every region must account for it's own success or failure without the option of others 'subsidising' them , but we will achieve it if most Nigerians are uncompromisingly behind it.

The Yorubas will push for it 100% with everything they have. I believe restructuring, resource control, regional policing and more autonomy for Nigerian regions will happen under Tinubu.
I agree with your write up. But i feel Igbos will welcome a return to regional system, thinking they will have their region and continue their agenda to do business in the other regions. This will however not work because of the terrible relationship they always keep with their hosts everywhere. So, host regions will be eager to have them do business on their new terms.
PoliticsRe: Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala Meets President Tinubu In Paris (Picture) by Idaytesj29(m): 4:32pm On Jun 24, 2023

This is the koko of the matter. A people who have shown, for more than 7 decades now, that their agenda is one of ethnocentric domination of others and covetous commandeering of the land and wealth of others "cannot be trusted with our nation building".

It is such a joke GRV who "does not think Yoruba" and was always mocking Yorubas with ethnocentric slurs, while always praising IPOB, wanted to be Governor of Lagos.

I am very happy with Tinubu so far but where he will lose my support is if he does not move quickly to deliver regional autonomy and restructuring that will put an end to 'one Nigeria' garbage Igbos are deploying to be a menace to every Nigerian in every corner of our nation.
Yes, that return to regional system is very important. It was the same Eastern e-ra that collapsed it, thinking they will held on to power for long.
Now, they are the ones who shouts loudest complaining about the ones and resources control of the country.
Meanwhile, returning to Regional system does not favour the North at all. I see them fighting against it with all their might. It takes away their dominancè.

This is to confirm and assure us that despite the claims that he wanted to save Nigeria and bring Nigerians out of poverty, the Obidient movement is an Igbo Ethnic Agenda. An attempt to take over power and deal with perceived "enemies" in the nigerian space.
If she was not questioned by people on social media, she won't post it. The height of conspiracies against the person of @OfficialBAT is enormous. The same way Emefiele entered the Presidential primaries to contest against him and having lost, brought out a masses killing New Naira Notes Design monetary policy to frustrate his plans during the last elections. And the amount of effort put into the election tribunal right now by a loser in distant no 3 is surprising considering that someone is ahead of him in no 2, and does not strive so hard when compared. The character assassinations and slanders that
was done to Tinubu by the Eastern section of the country before the election was disturbing and will forever make them a section with sinister plan against every other section of the country, Hausa, Yoruba, Ijaw, Ibibio, Efik,Fulani, Ebira, Nupe etc now see them as a dangerous people filled with hate, lies and dangerous propaganda that can not be trusted with our nation building.
Thankfully, God is not man and His final say has been heard in the last elections.
Children of hate and sorrow can continue to do what they know how to do best. Nigerian s have moved on.

I think the problem we are having in Nigeria is the quality of education most people are exposed to. They do not understand the micro economics dynamics between exchange rate, export and import as well as inflation.

They always look for the easy way out which will ruin the country's economy. Nigeria govt needs to do a lot of enlightenment where they need to break things down clearly and concisely for people to understand what is going on.

When I read some comments here, my heart sinks. Nigeria cannot rely on importation and expect it to look like Dubai. Impossible!
A country without 24 hours electricity, no steel making company, no functional regime tied and you don't want such country to import?

Even if they have all that and companies are functioning, they will still import some things

try to reread the article. A line in it quotes him as saying that you can find in our prisons something like 70 convicted felons and 900 awaiting trial. That’s an indignation on our judiciary not just the police.
Prison is not the reason they are all Awaiting Trials. That's caused by the inefficiency of the Court and delayed investigations by the Police.
Prisons keep custody. Prisons does not deliver judgement or give adjournment dates or prosecute them in court. The court and Police does. This blames belongs to them, not Prisons.

Nigerian prison needs serious reforms,
He had no issue with Prison, his problem is with the police. There is no way he will have a court date that he will not be aware of and there is no way Prison will not present him in court so far he has an appointment with court.

He is at logger heads with the police bad elements and they ensure he never had quick adjournment dates by having an evil collaboration with the court rats to delay his access to justice. But justice still prevailed in the end.
