Rwanda has Gone Far beyond Nigeria...

When u see Truth, Embrace it!

There is sound Electricity in Rwanda..
The picture presented by the African Development Bank (AfDB) is not encouraging that the situation will change in the near future. AfDB is one of the major funders to Rwanda’s electricity sector. In its September 2018 appraisal of Rwanda’s energy sector, AfDB gave a rather gloomy view. Nearly 7 million Rwandans who live in rural areas remain essentially in the dark. In other words, more than half of the country’s population don’t have electricity.

The people of Rwanda are expressing their poor electricity realities in Rwanda, but they are lying according to you sitting in your village in Nigeria.

Who do you think I should believe, the people of RWANDA, and their creditor, the African Development Bank (AfDB) or you sitting in your village in Nigeria.?

A country with half of her population without electricity can not be better than you, don't let low self-esteem and ignorance kill you.

Which Rwanda! You don't know what u saying
Kagame Remains A Powerful Ruler Without Power — Electricity Still A Rare Commodity In Rwanda

How does a country in which more than half of its population still in darkness become middle-income?

About 83 % of rural dwellers had no electricity coverage. They represented about 6.9 million people…Rwanda’s investment in the electricity supply is failing to keep up…Consequently, the power system has become increasingly unreliable.

lol @ Kagame Remains A Powerful Ruler Without Power -  Electricity Still A Rare Commodity In Rwandagrin

Half of Rwanda never see electricity before in their life..

You people need to stop using countries that are below and beneath you to rubbish your country, especially making ignorant claims. You obviously don't know anything about Rwanda.

We know you hate Nigeria, but why keep embarrassing yourself on the internet.?

Soybeans farmers in the US are dumping soybeans to grown hemp, they make almost double per acre growing hemp than soybean.

Ondo State has the largest bitumen deposit in Africa and the second largest in the world, but it's hard and very costly to extract, hemp, on the other hand, is easy to grow, harvest, sell and export.

They are sitting on a gold mine because the whole of SW is very hemp-friendly.

I am still trying to observe Tinubu closely. There is something he does in politics that makes him more powerful. I think there is power in "SILENCE" coupled with necessary actions. All his political enemies fight him making the loudest noise on social media and in the public but you hardly hear him trading words with them but at the end he wins the battle even though not immediately.

There are many case studies. Saraki is one of them.He said he would teach PDP in Lagos how to end Tinubu hegemony but we all see what befall saraki eventually.

Now El-Rufia has been fighting Tinubu publicly without a single response from him and I think for El-Rufia to come out publicly to say again "Tinubu should do his worst", it clearly depicts Tinubu is winning the battle silently.

49th laws of power: .....
The fastest way for dummy and light weight politicians to secure attention is to attack the most powerful politician in Nigeria even though at the end of the day, they end up going to Burdillorn to bow down and pay their respect to Asiwaju.

You fell little, irrelevant and rejected when the people you are attacking don't pay you any attention even after doubling down with more attacks and tantrums.

El Rufai is a small fish too start with.

I hope you realize that all Jakande's achievements were achieved within 4 years.

Meanwhikw, His succesoors since 1999 have been building a metroline for almost 20 years.
1. Funds for the Lagos Metro Rail was approved in 2008 and construction commenced in 2009.

2019 - 2009 = 10 Years.

Stop manufacturing lies.

2. Jakande did his best, but Fashola's first 4 years were more productive than Jakande, Tinubu and Ambode combined in their first 4 years.

Let me know if you need facts, figures and pictures and be ready to show yours too.

yemaldo:
That was in the 80's bro, compare that to what Lagos is generating now and what autojosh posted is about transport sector alone, in fact auto josh didn't capture everything about d sector
Lagos wasn't generating anything significant under Jakande, he sourced loans for most of his projects, even the Lagos metro was french loan gone bad that Lagos is probably still paying for.

Tinubu engineered whatever huge IGR Lagos state is pulling in today, Fashola and Ambode's accomplishments transpired because of Tinubu's IGR vision.

Jakande started with makeshift shed public schools, but today, his successors improved on that by building model schools with better facilities.

Jakande built his estates, but his successors built more and even better estates

The metro rail project was Jakande's vision, but 30 years later, his successors picked it up and the project is almost completed.

Lagos state is a unique state because it's blessed with talented and competent administrators with a great sense of duty and continuity, unlike states like Rivers state with a low mentality governor where past governor's projects are not the current governor's concern to complete or pay attention to.

Lagos state governors are all achievers in their own ways, stop comparing.

Jakande was great, especially with his metro rail plan in the 80s, that was brilliant and visionary, but Fashola's record is still the record to beat.

PoliticsI Supported Buhari’s Re-election, Because I Foresaw His Victory ― Obiano by idealogical(op): 5:05pm On Mar 02, 2019
Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra State has said he supported the re-election of President Muhammadu Buhari because he foresaw his victory for the second term in office.

Governor Obiano, who disclosed this in a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr James Eze, said he knew that it was impossible to beat President Muhammadu Buhari in the last presidential and National Assembly elections

Mr Eze, said the governor, made it clear to his close friends and allies that the opposition did not stand a chance against the president.

He argued that in a federation that has developed a thick skin for fairness, equity and justice, it is wiser to be subtle than confrontational. He warned that Ndigbo must not stumble twice over the same stone. But nobody understood him then, for though most of them have been in politics long before him, but foresight is a gift that is not available to everyone.

“And now that the chickens have come home to roost, it has become clear to Governor Obiano that foresight comes at a price. Foresight is a lonely path to tread. It breeds unexpected resentment and hate. Having foresight could turn you into a sudden object of anger and unwise attacks. But on the long run, it never leaves you without the enduring sheen of grace and glory. And that happens only when the people finally wake up to smell the coffee. Sadly, in the case of many farsighted leaders, this happens after they are out of office or after they are gone!

PoliticsQuestions: Tinubu Protest In Lagos. by idealogical(op): 3:06pm On Mar 02, 2019
Is Tinubu a public official?

Is Tinubu running contesting for any Public office?

What Office are they trying to remove him from?

As a Nigerian and a private citizen, is he not allowed or granted the same freedom of association rights as dictated and found in the Nigerian constitution?

Section 40 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 provides as follows: Every person shall be entitled to assembly freely and associate with other persons, and in particular he may form or belong to any political party, trade union or any association for the protection of his interests.
How do you bully and stop any Nigerian from participating in our political process just because he's influential, not a member of your party or just because he commands better and winning strategies that you lack?

Why not just face Sanwo Olu?
PoliticsSaudi King, Qatari Emir, Russian Envoy Congratulate President Buhari by idealogical(op): 3:24am On Mar 01, 2019

King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia has congratulated President Muhammadu Buhari on his re-election for a new presidential term.

In a telephone conversation with President Buhari on Thursday, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques wished the Nigerian President success and good health in his second term in office.

In a statement by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Malam Garba Shehu, the Saudi King extended good wishes of steady progress and prosperity to the government and people of Nigeria.

President Buhari expressed appreciation to the King, affirming his readiness to enhance aspects of cooperation between the two countries in various fields.

Also, the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani sent a cable of congratulations to President Buhari on his re-election, wishing the Nigerian President success and the Nigerian people further development and progress.

Russian Ambassador to Nigeria, Alexey Shebarshin, also sent a congratulatory message, saying: ”I am honoured to extend my congratulations to you personally, Mr President, and the people of Nigeria on the successful conduct of free, transparent and credible Presidential and National Assembly elections on February 23, 2019, that will shape the destiny of this nation for the upcoming four years and beyond.”

While describing the elections as yet another substantial step towards further strengthening of Nigerian democracy, the Russian Ambassador wrote: “It is my conviction that your decisive victory will pave the way for yet stronger and more prosperous Nigeria that you will be able to deliver on the people’s mandate. ”

The Russian Ambassador expressed the hope that the Nigerian President’s second term in office will be associated with further enhancements of bilateral cooperation and closer contacts between the two countries.

UK Minister of State for Africa, Harriett Baldwin, said: ”I offer my congratulations to President Buhari on securing a second term as the Nigerian President. The UK is a long-standing friend and partner of Nigeria and the Nigerian people, and a stable and prosperous Nigeria benefits Africa and the world. ”

PoliticsLecturers Endorse Buhari, Say Atiku Part Of Nigeria’s Problems. by idealogical(op): 5:34am On Feb 14, 2019
Some lecturers under the aegis of Progressives in Academics have declared support for the reelection of President Muhammadu Buhari.

Pro-Acad, made up of professors and other members of academics in Nigerian universities, polytechnics and colleges of education, made the declaration on Wednesday at a press briefing in Abuja

The convener, Prof. Bolarinwa Bolaji, claimed that the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, was part of Nigeria’s problems and could not be trusted with power again.

He recalled that Atiku, as the vice president between 1999 and 2007 and chairman of the National Privatisation Council sold national assets to his friends.

While citing a statement by Atiku to privatise the NNPC, the group warned Nigerians against those who sold national assets in the past.

“The people who put us in this mess must not be allowed to come back to power. They obviously have nothing to offer. They had been tested but had been found wanting,” he said.

Bolaji said corruption in the PDP-led administration in Nigeria in 16 years forced multinational companies and industries to relocate from Nigeria to neighbouring countries, partly because of lack of supply of electricity.

“The effect of this relocation is unquantifiable. Millions of Nigerians working in those organisations lost their jobs.”

The group also blamed $2.1bn arms fund diverted by the office of the former National Security Adviser, Col. Sambo Dasuki (retd.) under former President Goodluck Jonathan for the worsening case of insecurity in the country.
