obi58: How is Lagos safer now that millions have lost their little means of livelihood overnight? Think about it bro? What then is the role of the Police, Amotekun and even NURTW if pressure cannot be brought to bear on these forces to regulate and sanitise the operations of the kekes and okadas instead of their outright ban?
Second question with the introduction of more buses, won't the already congested road network be put under more pressure? 1. Lagosians are safer because of less injurious and deadly accidents and destruction of lives and properties. 2. Lagosians are safer because they have less unidentified and unknown folks from unknown locations/countries. 3. They did not ban Okada, they only restrict them from certain parts of the city. 1 saved life is worth more than 1 million livelihood. Out of difficulties comes solutions, play your part and stop complaining. |

Neddstark: Leadership is about being humane you cock. How does Opay or Gokada affect your security or are you reasoning through your rectum? Your thinking is so disgusting. If you said this in front of me and you were from my tribe I will spit on you. Gush you disgust me. Dont quote me again. Look at this childish thing throwing tantrums... lol Again, you can not and should never be in any leadership position because you obviously can not lead or make though and difficult decisions. |

This is about people losing their source of livelihood you bum It is not about public feelings, but you are concerned abut livelihood as if your safety and security is beneath your livelihood. Again, you shouldn't be in any leadership position because you can not make though and difficult decision for the good of all. |

I hereby congratulate the new recruits and urge them to take on their responsibilities with passion, whilst shunning all corrupt practices as well as detaching themselves from activities that may undermine their commitment to excellence.
In a bid to boost the efficiency of LASTMA, we increased the personnel count of the officials with an additional 1,017 officers who graduated from their induction course today at the LASTMA Parade Ground in Oshodi. https://mobile.twitter.com/jidesanwoolu/status/1225130960188071942

jimyjames: The truth is the money belongs to Niger Delta, so if GEJ took back what belongs to his people then he did the right thing People like abacha and obasanjo were wrong to loot the money they looted cause the money is not from their regions Another sad, deplorable and comedic comment. He did the right thing by stealing Niger Delta money, but turn around to share with FFK and Fayose in the SW and Metuh in the SE and Northerners for spiritual prayers, but one single kobo did not end up in the Niger Delta? Must you try too hard not to make sense? Even GEJ himself go slap you for that comment. |

jimyjames: My friend I can see you are an APC political thug , but I wasn't talking politics when I made my first comment so shut your mouth Look at this one hiding under politics. PDP political thug, I made valid comments regarding returned Abacha loot that GEJ and his PDD looting gang looted and shared so Mr PDP political thug, prove me wrong. Was the money looted by GEJ and his PDP looting gang? Yes or No? |
Politics › Re: Nigeria Must Repay Abacha Loot If It’s Stolen Again – US by idealogical: 5:00pm On Feb 05, 2020 |
jimyjames: Nigeria already embarrassed itself from the moment abacha and the rest started stealing money to hide in banks abroad, Isn't it shameful that the Americans are returning the money with condition of knowing what Nigeria will do with , our money as you call it? And what will Nigeria do if america decide not to return the money? You are not saying anything, preconditions are always attached to asset repatriations all over the world, it's not limited to Nigeria so stop embarrassing yourself with inaccurate assertions, this is the standard practice. What difference does it make who stole or did not steal the money, is corruption or looting returned funds a new thing in Nigeria? The other returned Abacha loot was stolen by GEJ and Dasuki, it was shared with Fayose, FFK, Dokpesi, Metu and other looting and stealing crooked and corrupt PDP looters. Where were you hypocrites to shout and speak up against corruption under GEJ when looting and stealing was a way of life and national character? Or you think the same America forgot or did not see what GEJ and his looting and stealing gang did to that returned Abacha loot? Or we don't have PDP looters on trial as we speak for looting that returned funds? Stop the hypocrisy and crocodile tears. |

jimyjames: They should not give Nigeria the money , they should bring the money and invest it in something that all Nigerians will benefit from This is the most laughable comment in this thread. You want the US to come and invest your money in your own country to do what? The money is our money and we know exactly what to do with our money, it's even in the press release the OP posted, wee have 3 ongoing projects to spend the money on. You people need to relax with the wailing and stop embarrassing yourselves. |

I see the usual bitter negative and acerbic people already gathered to wail and lament over nothing.
We welcome the standard stipulations regarding the money which is not a big deal.
We've already mapped out what we are going to do with the money and the projects we are going to fund with it for the benefit of the people of Nigeria.
God bless PMB

MurphyTheory99: Restoring public water isn't an achievement guy. It a giving! It is his job anyway and he is expected to do such little things. He even spent our allocation to do it and not his personal funds. So let stop acting as if he did us a huge favor. When we act like this, it makes whoever is in power to think they can just carry out some works and it enough. It's actually an achievement. Being able to successfully supply and make sure that the people you serve have access to potable water is an achievement and the fact that it's given doesn't mean it's achievable, ask the billions of people all over the world without access to potable water, they have leaders and governments too, but they still don't have access to portable water. |

Iamgrey5: https://nationalinterest.org/blog/buzz/these-5-weapons-make-americas-army-best-world-98852 These are all basic weapons that are not even considered to be advanced or game changers on the battlefield. They are all in Saudi arsenals, they have all the weapons in your elementary weapon list. They have Apache helicopter, tow tank missile, Abrams tank, they have paladin, tow tank missile ...and 50-Caliber Machine Gun? Who doesn't have that and is this even your interpretation of advanced weapons? We are are talking about THAAD, frigates, the best anti submarines aircraft, stand off and joint missiles, threat Detection Aerostats and this one is talking about bullets? Are you serious or you are just pulling my legs? |
Politics › Re: Look At What Will Possibly Make Iran Abandon War by idealogical: 8:37pm On Jan 07, 2020 |
Iamgrey5: You are joking
Even Russia just launched a special Missile last month that they believe can evade American Missile defense system but many expects doubt that not to talk of Iran.
Even in your report, it was clearly stated that America support for Saudi is limited in scope and there's no assurance that the defense system Saudi posses was placed near the facilities Iran attacked.
Now let me spell it out for you
AMERICA WILL NEVER GIVE ITS BEST WEAPONS TO SAUDI BECAUSE THEY FEAR THAT IT COULD EASILY GET INTO THE HANDS OF TERRORIST THAT WILL USE THE SAME WEAPONS TO FIGHT AND KILL Americans. Standoff Land Attack Missiles — $3 billion
CH-47 Chinook helicopters — $533 million
Threat Detection Aerostats — $525 million
Abrams tank upgrades — $880 million
40/105/155mm artillery shells — $63 million
Harpoon Block II missiles — $889 million
Multi-Mission Surface Combatant frigates — $6 billion
Joint Standoff Weapon — $645 million
THAAD systems — $13 billion
P-8 Poseidon anti-submarine warfare/maritime patrol aircraft — $1.4 billion
C-130 Hercules transport planes — $3.8 billion
Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicles — $1.2 billion
https://www.businessinsider.sg/saudi-arabia-us-military-buys-charts-2018-3/ Saudi Arabia in one single purchase bought $10 worth weapon and gadgets from the US and over $350 billion in future sales, you think they spend all that money on AK47? These are some of the most advanced and sophisticated weapons in the world. Please, this is not about emotions and personal sentiments, this is about public info and realities on the ground.
