Why should you walk away? Have you evaluated sundry variables related to the brand. Are they using another domain name already? Do they even have a website? What about social media handles? Do their brand have strong online presence? What is the strength of the brand (one man show or more than 2)?

Can you access the promoters of this brand if they have financial muscles to pay even $100 for a domain? Are they playing the waiting game for the domain to expire and pick it up? Are they branding aficionados? If you can reasonably find answers to these questions, then hold on to that domain name. In 5 years to come, you won't spend more than $50 for registration and renewal. A domain name that did not drop for consecutive 5 years is worth more than $100.

Hi guys. I have this domain that was previously used by a power bike service company in Thailand. The domain dropped and was re-reg and dropped again before I finally registered it. I reached out to the company on Facebook (they are so active there, about 3 to 4 posts per day) and pitched it to them but they said they're not interested. Their Facebook page has more than 130k followers and the domain name is still on their Facebook page. Now I get more than 70 monthly visits on the domain with no idea of what to do with the domain. I could have parked it but the CPC is $0.00.

If you can afford any reliable and cheap web hosting services, install WordPress blog on it and turn it to a website. This way, you won't be updating it regularly. Create a home page with power bike information. Go to that Facebook page and learn what the owner and their followers are saying and writing about power bike. Paraphrase (but do not plagiarize) their content and use it to innovate your home page content. Make sure you write SEO articles that Google will index and rank you for on the SERP.

After the above steps, search for affiliate products from Amazon or use Google Adsense codes to monetize your blog. I can assure you with that existing website visitors, you'll get a buyer of your blog far above the amount you'll beg to sell your domain name. From one of the 130K followers, you'll even find a buyer who will compete with the other guy.

You can also do the smart thing, join the group and be part of their community. In your Facebook profile, type the website and say it's for sale.
