I don't agree with you on this at the bold. You only gamble with domain names when you've mediocre names. You can get good names with the benefit of foresight, following tech trends, knowing the types of domain names that were previously sold consistently, stealthily trailing the gurus in the industry, and so on.

When you sell a domain name for $10,000, you'll have good fund to start investing in low ball domain name auctions, back ordering services, secondary domain marketplaces, etc. That is how to grow in this business. Slow and steady win the race!

Analytics are important when registering names, but how often does names like that drop on ED? Most of the names with the analytics you mentioned are always backordered.
How does one succeed in domain flipping if you have to wait for 1 month or more to find a name that fits the analytics you mentioned. Even when you get one, it's not guaranteed to sell.
I also read that domain flipping is a game of numbers. How do you grow your portfolio if you don't register names frequently?

What's EMD?

exact match domain is simply a searchable keyword or phrase registered as a domain.

If geo domain names are becoming hard for you to sell, go for EMD (exact match domain). Even the SEO guys cannot say anything against it. You can use your favorite keyword research tool to find EMDs in your target specific niche markets. But make sure you go for EMD with average monthly search volume above 500 (1000 is the tipping point really) and CPC (cost per click) of $1 and above.

Keywords in a domain name should convey positive/negative meaning in the context it is used. If you dissect "pay" and "ebb," you'll discover the "ebb" is not a great keyword to associate with "pay." Look at the image below as attached.

Yes, age of domain, similar domain names sold, keyword in the domain, search volume, cost per click (CPC), just to mention a few. With experience, everything automated tools can do, you can also do it manually really. Sedo, Afternic, etc provide manual appraisal of domain names. If you are so sure of a domain name, get Afternic manual appraisal for about $25 per domain and use the certificate to promote and sell it.

In domaining, everything and anything is possible. If someone had told you that in year 2021 that CartASAP/com will be available for a Nigerian to register, would you have believed? God can keep a premium domain name for someone for his or her pay day, you never can tell!

From your experience, how many articles do you put on the developed domains before you sell them?

What is your conversion rate like for developed domains?

"Rank and Sell" is not really for authority sites but niche sites which allow you to get paid for displayed adverts. It's still okay for $10,000 or less website sale. I usually target 52 articles per site with the assumption of at least one article per week in a year's target before sale.

Do you mean sales conversion rate? A site that is making money online with high-quality content will always sell. So, conversion rate is above 95 percent. However, some specific markets sell faster than the others e.g. weight loss, fitness, personal development, etc.
