LOL! I know you're already a boss. But let me drop this for newbies because majority will be asking the same question especially if they think grace is not smiling at them at all even with all the efforts in outbound marketing.

A good domain names that sell for high price must possess 2 to 3 of these attributes:

1. It must have strong business idea behind it. I can't emphasize this enough.
2. It must be short. Less than 12 letters in the domain is better but less than 10 is the best.
3. It must be brandable and catchy.
4. It must have a maximum of two (2) English words and it must follow the rule of concord in English.
5. Acronym related to a commercial or viable business idea is awesome too.

ExpiredDomains.net, auctions, backorder services, etc are good sources to get these names. Even if you can only get 1 or 2 domain names in a month to increase your portfolio, you'll still be fine instead of going to domain registration spree and looking for who to liquidate it when renewal jingles start ringing.

For example, if you only have 30 domain names that are good to premium and you renew them for 3 years, that will cost you an average of $900 (i.e. about $300 per year), right. Now if you only sell one out of them for $3,500 like @ICauseTrouble, you'll make about $1,854 clear profits after wire transfer fees are taken out.

Beginners must treat domaining as a business even if you're doing it part time. Invest in yourself to gain knowledge. Knowledge is power. Many years ago, I started my online business and in my first month I earned money that is more than 5 of my co employees at management level. I'm talking of a blue chip company now.

When you ask beginners to read from page 1, they think you're punishing them. Even me, once in a while, I go through the thread from page one to learn one or two things I missed in my previous reading. I'm in my early 30s, I've got a bsc in sociology, a master's degree in statistics and like a dozen other professional degrees in human resource management, gerentology, demography, financial risk management, oil and gas services, pmp and so on.

Infact I'm basically one of the most educated individuals I've met. The sad part is I've never made a cent off my educational qualifications.
Heck I work in a totally different industry and make a good living which I'm definitely not going to trade for social work or psychology, so this past few days I get myself thinking what a waste of Time and resources that was, I literarily spent millions on my education, even relocating abroad to study but it was all a goddamn waste of time, all I got is a useless paper I'm never going to use.

My advice to young ones out there is to set your goals right and stupid untraditional ideas is better than no ideas. You don't necessarily have to pursue a degree to be okay in life.

I don't agree with this sweeping conclusion. Believe it or not, your education, in one way or another, is the foundation for open-door you may think you are enjoying right now.

Education is the open sesame to opportunities in life even if it is outside your discipline. You handle things with finesse except you didn't allow the school system to pass through you.

I am sorry to say that you are wrong. Digital marketing is good but data analysis is not a subset of digital marketing. Infact Digital marketing analysis (example: Google Analytics) is a subset of data analysis.

Yes, high volume and clean backlinks is what veteran SEO guys evaluate. And you cannot just do it without using paid tools.

So, getting a domain keyword that is not penalized is not enough or using ExpiredDomains.net criteria only.
