Besides, for those who register exact match domain (EMD), there is nothing to be afraid of. Keyword domain names will continue to be relevant and important to search engine optimization (SEO). If a webmaster can create a blog or build a website with quality content on EMD, Google and other search engines have no reason not to rank your website.

Search engine algorithms only frown at cutting corners or wielding blat hat methods to game their systems.

Having an EMD blog/website with quality and unique content is like seeing a beautiful lady with intelligence to match. She will be hard to ignore!

Before you flip your website, how many articles do you put one them? How long does you wait for it to rank before you sell them?

It depends on a number of variables i.e. type of domain, industry, time to research and write content, etc.

First, the domain name. If it is a premium domain name, I can create a blog with lots of content because I will be looking at top dollars for the sale. But if it is a geographical domain name that is good enough to build out, just one epic blog article with "domain and/or website for sale" page.

Timing mainly depends on inbound offers I receive but I'm never in a hurry because the site's revenue pays for the bills for domain renewal and more. Sometimes, I receive inbound offer less than 7 days because they have seen a website on the domain and at the same time the domain is listed and up for sale at various marketplaces.

What if someone sold a domain name that is business keyword trade marked in another extension, let's say ". io" to another company for $10k ignorantly. Incase of infringement, will the seller liable to refund the money to the buyer or will he be party to such incase legal battle arises? Or its between the buyer if he develops it and the company that owns the "tm". The name is not known to be trade marked until sold. Just wondering....or the money the buyer paid don enter voice mail? I need a broad answers. Thanks.

No, you won't be held liable and you will not refund the money. Domain names transfer from hand to hand. But in law everything is about proof. If, for any reason, you are linked to the case, the onus will rest on proof as to whether you were aware before the sale. But if it can be proofed that you have sufficient knowledge and info that the name would have been trademark, you may be in the web of trademark infringement. For example, if you sell Cola Cola, you should know it should be a trademark.
