Wow that's nice, please can you throw more light on how to redirect links to the current website?
You can as well open a new thread about this, I really want to learn about this

I am assuming you are using self-hosted WordPress blog on your domain. Then download and install free 301 redirection plugin to do it. I have a complete digital marketing training thread already from this link.

ElonMosque:
Its not a phishing mail because you are making no attempt whatsoever to get him/her to reveal personal information. However, I think you can instead direct him/her to buy from godaddy(because its super popular) if they are really interested in the domain. The aim of your email is just for the person to see the value in what you have for sale. If they see the benefit of having such domain, they should proceed to godaddy/com to make a secure purchase within 10minutes.... maybe chipping in with whois info could help too...

That is how you see it. A child who has been beaten by a snake, becomes afraid even when he sees an earthworm. A lot of damage has been done by some undesirable elements in this part of Africa. I have a business partner abroad who is always scared at frauds and scams emanating from Nigeria. If a white man/woman has not been duped, his/her brother, sister, friend, nephew, fellow citizen has been duped and they know this. So, they must be cautious. It will take years to clean up the mess by government.

Travel out of this country, you will understand what I mean. When they see that you are a Nigerian, they treat you differently. Some even want you to start excreting .....immediately. You know now!

IghravweIG:
My Ogas, How do i reply this?

@Ideaspro
@2Sexycom

First, make sure you list it in trusted marketplaces like Afternic which is owned by GoDaddy. Letting him know that the transaction is handled by GoDaddy's company is an assurance in itself. If he is in doubt, he can independently confirm from them and get back to you. Secondly, you should work towards having a business website.

tranxo:
For registrars that offer free privacy, I use free privacy. For those that do not offer free privacy, I use my real Nigerian address and phone number.

My personal mantra.

As long as I am legit, I keep it real, do my part, and leave the rest to His Grace.

Yes, using fake info or address is the greatest RED FLAG!

tranxo:
This is one of the obstacles we encounter without proper research. We have all been down this road sha.

That's also the reason IdeasPro advised we take CPC and SG seriously when we select names on ED. I will also add considering ACR. With a domain having impressive numbers across these 3 metrics, we can confidently tell and show the buyer that though the domain has no website currently, it used to have one that is similar to his business. This means that the traffic that used to visit the former website are still typing those EXACT kwds (SG) in Google. You can even share screenshots from Wayback Machine for him to see that the former website is in the same business with his. Finally, depending on the CPC of the name, you can tell him that his competitors are already spending heavy ad costs just to advertise with the domain's exact keywords. He can save himself these costs, and POTENTIALLY (do not be definite with your pitches) rank higher than his competitors by owning this name.

You can tweak and switch all these around to suit your personality.

PS
Do not screenshot ED stats. Rather go and grab stats screenshot from Google Keyword Planner

Great suggestion you made here. But here is another profitable domain business trick. If you have paid web hosting that allows you to host unlimited domain names, you can get an expired domain name you want to flip, set up WordPress blog on it and turn it to a website (NOT BLOG) with just home page content.

Create essential pages like About me, Contact me, Website for sale, etc. Go to wayback archive to see the old blog posts and pages URLs and redirect them to the home page. You can use WordPress plugins to do this. Sooner than later, Google and other major search engines will start sending you free targeted traffic.

You can install free Google Analytics code on the blog and sign up for Google webmaster console to monitor web activities. All these tasks can be done in a matter of hours even for a beginner. Now, you've built a website for sale and not domain name to flip. This will not stop you from doing outbound marketing or listing it for sale in domains for sale marketplaces. But this step will greatly increase your chances of selling a mediocre domain names for big profits.

You also get "willing and able" buyers who are ready to open their wallets to buy a business not an idea you can hardly sell at arm's length transaction. I have said it before, a domain you will beg someone to pay $200 for, after building a simple website on it that did not take you a day to set up, the same buyer will be begging you to sell it for $2,000. You have to sell 10 domains @$200 to make $2,000. I am just being conservative here.

You may not do this for all of your domain names but the ones you see as "winners." It also cautions you from going on a buying spree picking junk domain names that may never sell. Even before you find a buyer, place Google Adsense codes on it and continue to earn $0.50 here and $1 there per day. You can do your calculations. $0.50 to $1 from 50 keyword domain names will translate to $25 to $50 per day passive income.

I know a lot of people will start asking me for income proof now. This was how they were asking Iykepromotions for proof at the beginning of the thread. Now, they are singing his praises. Nigerians! I am not selling anything here. So, believe it or don't believe it. Make your money and let others make theirs.

But the major upfront investment is buying web hosting for 3 years for $141.49 which comes down to about $3.95 per month. I actually posted a simple guide that can walk you through this process sometime ago. I cannot remember the page now but you can ask me any question if you need any clarification. I am in this business as an investor and not as a flipper.

Side note: If you have a really good domain name, it sells itself whether there is a website or no website on it.

BigDaddyB:
Could you please explain more on how to use it? I tried it, but I couldn't get any useful information.

Input the domain name in the search field and click search button. Navigate the index dates with yellow and other colours, year by year

A lot of people don't realize that forex trading is not a sustainable business in Nigeria because of too many ups and downs. I may be wrong. But from my research, I think I am not far from it. I ordered a book from Manna Bookshop some years back on forex trading and up till now, I have not opened it to read it. And it is unlike me!

Promxy94:
How did u come to that conclusion

That conclusion or assumption is very faulty. There is science to business success including domaining!

you actually give me more clue about affiliate marketing and have been consuming free video on youtube because i havnt get the money to pay for your coaching which i know is the best for me if i truelly want to scale high in this business.

but sir, despite having consume alot of info about affiliate marketing, choosing niche to get started with is the main challenges, i keep reading about passion and the likes vbut i seems not getting it....

please base on your experience, which niche do you think i should go for

Sincerely, I cannot advice you to follow a particular niche because our interests, hobbies, experience, knowledge, etc, differ. When we talk about passion, we are actually referring to what you enjoy doing. Some people can talk and analyze football from morning to evening and never be tired. That is someone's passion.

But if you cannot put your fingers on a passion to go with, you can "follow the money" which is also good. That is, find out what others are doing and it is evergreen and learn everything about that subject or topic. Then build a website or start a blog on it. Monetize your blog and be sure you can make money online.

For instance, one of my students made me to know an affiliate product I have not heard of before. I discovered that I can make $45 per lead, i.e. CPA marketing, from it. What I did is to start reading up on that topic. When I am done, I am going to create a blog to promote the affiliate product. This is simply following the money because I know if I can publish quality content and publish on my blog, I've the capacity to generate free targeted traffic from search engines.

I think there is nothing complicated about these terms. Passion is all about doing what you love and enjoy, okay?

I might close my Afternic Account and use VPN to open new one o ....there charges will kill somebody o

Or No a better idea has hit me

Anytime I get a sale there, i will tell them I have a relative of mine in USA or any country that accepts PayPal, and I will like them to send the money there, then if it works, I will give them my PayPal email, i tried it on Namesilo and the payed me through PayPal, but the don't normally payout through PayPal....so maybe it will work for Afternic....

Why worrying and killing yourself with charges. Even if it is 80 percent that come to you, you are still in profit. You buy a domain name with less than $10 and receive $100 and above you are complaining. Go and open a shop in Lagos market and see area boys, area girls, Iya olojas and babas, federal government, state government, local government and ill wishers coming to collect their unapproved tithes one after the other.

Truly, it is not how much you receive that makes the difference in your life but what you are investing in with the money you are receiving. So, take note.

How to Make Quick Money Online from Home

Happy weekend! I want to teach you how to make quick money online from home without breaking the bank. A lot of aspiring internet entrepreneurs don't know that they have specialized knowledge more than 2 or more people out there. And this is how to convert this special know-how of yours to money: teach it.

Every one is an expert on something. You know more than a handful of people out there globally. You can create a blog, write an SEO article around what you know, publish it on your blog, monetize your blog with complementary affiliate products links, Google Adsense, etc and watch the money roll in.

It doesn't have to be a complicated topic or technical subjects at all. Google and other search engines have their specific algorithms that rank websites and blogs on the SERP. Depending on web surfer's query, you may be surprised at the number of free targeted traffic you will be generating on a daily basis from search engines.

For example, I use and recommend HostGator web hosting because I have been enjoying their services since I signed up with them. What I did was to write an article on cheap and reliable web hosting and published it.

I described every step a beginner has to take to get web hosting from HostGator from this link. By doing this I am helping others who want to start an online business for cheap and at the same time creating an opportunity for myself to earn money online.

Here is what is involved to start your own business and make quick money online in today's marketplace.

1. Get a domain name
2. Buy web hosting
3. Start a blog
4. Publish quality content on your blog
5. Monetize your blog
6. Promote your blog
7. Make money blogging

Although the above 7 steps can be involving, you don't have to be a genius to get the hang of it. Every one starts from somewhere. You can do it! But if you need mentoring and coaching so that you can avoid the steep learning curve, click on my signature file immediately below this post and get started with our complete digital marketing training. You'll thank me later!

I followed your advise and have decided to get a website with domain name including hosting.

I do Importation business and
I also want to go into affiliate marketing few weeks from now.

The challenge is this: i have no idea of what kind of website to go for that would suite my online business.

Do you design websites for people? Or can you recommend a trusted web designer that would follow your instructions of what to design so he doesn't do a careless job?

Pls help out....

Thank you for believing in me. Please, I don't design commercial websites for now. I use WordPress for all my websites and blogs since it is easily customizable with lots of plugins for added functionalities.

priceaction:
U see why many people will always withhold some vital infos that can help another person? I believe here that many are silent achievers in this business and will rather code anything. Even sale reports, they won't.This is because many people won't value little help and free top notch reports they are getting here which will only spoil chances of genuine flippers that may not have good money for training.
Some people think that life ends with just selling a domain for few hundreds. Go to namepros elite secret discussions somewhere and see how some are rejecting offers of 5k or more, for domain they handreg few months ago and not making noise on it. But here someone will just sell for few bucks, will cause ripples everywhere to the point that it will affect the morale of those helping others at no charge.
Very unfortunate.

You're very correct. In all humility, some of us have paid $1,997 for online informating marketing course just to pick the of a guru.

Daumandu:
Can This Lead To The Downfall Of Someone?

I just moved in to a bigger city and a better and bigger apartment. I co-rented a flat with a middle aged man.

Now here is the problem, in my business at least in a week, I attend to nothing less than 20 clients but since one month I moved to this apartment I have not seen a single client.

Any day I do my digital marketing I am sure to see at least 10 to 20 enquires but since a month I moved to the apartment no body ever chatted me up for business.

Today I had to withdraw the last 5k in my account. The least amount I ever had in my account was 20k now I only have 500. I am someone that always enjoy the grace of God in my business but now its as if heaven has turned it's back against me. I am seriously thinking of leaving the apartment.

Any Advice?

Many of us today take God for granted. We don't ask God for approval before we take decisions or move. King David before he went to battle with his enemies, he inquired from the Lord. God assured him to pursue, overtake and recover all (1 Samuel 30: 8-9 ). But Lot in Genesis 13: 9-12 never inquired from the Lord before he took a portion of the land close to Sodom and the rest is history. God sees into the future but we don't.

Many people may go into semantics with the above statement and advice. But because I have been in both worlds, I know it is true to inquire from the Lord even before you go out of your house daily. God's injunctions can help you to channel your prayers to the right direction.

Did you seek God's consent before you moved into the apartment? Don't cry over split milk but seek remedial actions before it is too late. The more you look in life the less you see. It is now time to don your spiritual goggles.
