In a contest between brothers there cannot be a victor or a vanquished. It is with this attitude that I receive the verdict of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal’s verdict upholding the April 16th, 2011 Presidential election. Like I said during the campaigns, “I have no enemies to fight”. It was true then and true now and so help me God it will be true tomorrow. Now that this verdict has been rendered, I once again stretch out my hand of fellowship to all Nigerians. We are poised to transform Nigeria and I am committed to doing all it takes to bring about this transformation for EVERY Nigerian. I thank God, I thank all Nigerians, and I reaffirm my faith in the judicial process. GEJ

You are the one twisting comments out of context. . .

(1)First of all, look up the meaning of the word "hater" or "haterz". It all boils down to people who have ill feelings for those that are more successful than they are. Everything negative comment directed at D'Banj points to that. He bought an Aston Martin (that might not be brand new and some people have indicated that it might be less than $100,000). With all the money he has, he can afford to put a Ferrari Italia on the road if he wants to AND he'll won't go broke from doing that. For goodness sake, people walk into Coscharis all the time to pay for a full optioned Range Rover Vogue (do you know how much that costs in naira?) or Rolls Royce. Why all this noise? Who cares if we don't have good roads? If you want to talk about roads, then people driving Toyota Camry's and Honda Accords are dumb because these cars are low on the ground. . .they should be driving SUV's instead. So what are you people talking about?

(2)Humans have ALWAYS been materialistic. It's not "our culture". It's global. Please, broaden your mind abeg. Why do people study for years acquiring so many degrees? It's because they want to be able to secure their future and live the kind of life style they dream about (not necessarily to educate themselves with the research of others). Why don't you use a Nokia 3310 instead of a Black Berry Torch? Why don't you drive a Kia Picanto when you can afford a CLS mercedes? Why don't you live in a one room apartment in Ajegunle instead of living in a six bedroom mansion in VGC or Abuja? It's because you want the best for yourself. Quit being a hypocrite abeg. If you had the kind of money these guys had, you would live big. Quit hating! ! !

(3)Nobody says everything is about government BUT the major responsibility lies on them. Individuals can do the best they can (that usually goes un-noticed) but the leaders control the resources and power that can change things. For goodness sake, these people give to charity all the time. The problem with you people is that you cannot understand how these people can be so successful to the extent of buying things you might NEVER be able to buy in your lifetime. YES! That is what this is all about. From GLO alone, D'Banj made over N100million on endorsement deals (i stand to be corrected). He collects nothing less than N5million per show. Why on earth would he be driving a Honda civic?

Broaden your mind and quit being so shallow.

You say removal of subsidy which will affect ordinary Nigerians the most , a veritable keg of gun powder, is a must so as to free up money for infrastructural development yet you do not wish to even seriously attempt reducing recurrent expenditure , affecting mainly overpaid Government officials, or shrink the size of our democracy universally criticised for its unfeasibly bloated size  !!!!

How can that not be interpreted as wickedness, elitism and leadership insensitivity? I.e failing to take food from the well-fed and wealthy man while insisting you must take the little the skeletal poor man has?

Trust me this money is going the same way,  Okonjo cannot run the country, she can only lay down policies, she cannot implement it across all the whole waste parastatal and minsitries + government waste departments, all over the place,

For GEJ is understandable as C-in-C he is all in charge of the security and its personnel.As such he is military,police,airforce,army,navy,sss,NIA,Immigration,customs etc overall national leader.So he could wear any uniform.What of the ADC can he do same too? They maybe be armed forces.they still have there unique laws and ethics.That keeps them apart and unique from the others regardless.Would he then ever where prison warder uniforms or police uniform if GEJ does same
