Accusation is not the same thing as a Proof.

So where is your proof that $20 Billion was stolen?

Is your proof based on obviously politically statements made by Sanusi, who later ran away into the Emir's palace so as to escape prison.

Just thank God that GEJ respects traditional institutions, if not, Sanusi would have been jailed, emir or no emir.

Okay, since you know better than us, now show us proof that the UK govt provided £250m for the Almajiri schools or shut your mouth.

This man will go down as the most irresponsible and clueless president Nigeria has ever had.

Trust this man at your peril. If he said all those things and today he is acting aloof, then this man does not have any modicum of credibility & integrity.

He talks about Almajiri schools, but refuses to tell Nigerians that the UK govt provided £250m for that project.

I can't wait for February 14th.

How is this a useless propaganda?

So in your mind you seriously believe that Tinubu is not corrupt.
Do you think that all this desperation for power at the Federal level by APC is simply because they love Nigeria so much?
The problem with most people is that they follow blindly.
GEJ may not have performed as well as we Nigerians want, but Buhari is Worse.
You want to know what is even scary?, The people surrounding Buhari are extremely corrupt.
Remember the the saying, "Show me your friends and I will tell you who you are.
All this hatred, name calling, campaign of character assassination and pre election violence by APC, is for one reason and one reason alone.
To grab the oil money.
If APC really cared about the progress of Nigeria, why did they refuse to adopt the recommendations of the 2014 national conference, instead
Tinubu is busy scheming for oil wells.

PoliticsHow APC, Obasanjo, Tinubu Plot To Make Osinbajo Another Jonathan by ideyvexnow(op): 6:48pm On Dec 30, 2014
Indications emerged on Sunday why the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC) was initially keen on fielding a Muslim/Muslim candidate for the 2015 presidential election.

Despite the fact that its former member and one-time Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode raised an alarm on the issue earlier in 2014, top APC chieftains still tried to sell the idea which was rejected by many Nigerians and even APC members.

APC national leader and former Lagos State governor, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, his successor, Babatunde Raji Fashola, former Federal Capital Territory Minister, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, the party’s presidential candidate, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (all Muslims) among others, at one time or the other, insisted there was nothing wrong with same-religion ticket.

A point the APC and those who believed in the controversial game plan gave as reference, was that since Nigeria remains an indivisible entity, a Muslim/Muslim ticket was no big deal.

They were also quick to use the 1993 presidential election, where Chief M.K.O. Abiola contested along with Baba Gana Kingibe on the Social Democratic Party (SDP) platform as a reference.

APC and its kingmakers would later bow to pressure and the noise generated by the Muslim/Muslim ticket reduced with the emergence of Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, a Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Pastor, as the running mate to Gen. Buhari.

But more reasons on why the APC was desperate to have a Muslim from South-West have surfaced, as a source confided in DAILY POST that the politics that shrouded the insistence by Tinubu to present either himself or a loyal Muslim candidate was more than what was visible to the eyes of Nigerians.

According to him, a major reason behind the Muslim/Muslim ticket was to have Nigeria’s presidency be within the grasp of the South-West region in the event Buhari finds it difficult to carry on as the nation’s leader.

Buhari’s health scare

Our source, knowledgeable of happenings within the corridors of power, Aso Rock, said there is a security report concerning the health of Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, the APC presidential standard bearer.

The report, he told DAILY POST, shows that the 72 year-old former Head of State may not live more than a year or two if he assumes office as Nigeria’s President in 2015.

“Many people think the presidency or the PDP is trying to portray Buhari in a bad light or declare him unfit for the nation’s topmost job but the information I am giving you is authentic”, he alleged.

Asked to provide specifics of the content of the security report to back up his claim, the source said: “A part of it goes thus: Should Buhari win, he may not be able to complete a single four-year tenure due to his health condition; he has continued to manage his health secretly.

“Let me ask you these questions: Why do you think Tinubu was ready to risk a Muslim/Muslim ticket? Why do you think he presented himself at the eleventh hour when talks were on to pick Buhari’s running mate? When he failed in his quest, why do you think he picked his associate of 20 years?”

“The truth is that Tinubu and his cohorts know that the demands of office will tell on Buhari and same will either kill him or weigh him down excessively,” the source added.

North not backing Buhari

The source further told DAILY POST that powers that be in the North are not comfortable with the choice of Buhari.

“Look, many eminent personalities in the North are not supporting Buhari’s candidature because they also know this fact.

“They are aware that Buhari may not see 2019, so they don’t want to gamble. We all know there exists a Northern cabal and these guys will rather wait for President Jonathan to complete his eight years and hand over to them. They want eight years too!

“So, they have agreed not to throw their weight behind Buhari, who may not even see four years through. The North do not want a repetition of the Yar’ Adua saga; they are being very careful.

“This is because if anything happens to Buhari, power will return to the South, South-West for that matter and this may happen less than a decade after Baba Obasanjo left Aso Rock.

“Not just that, power will effectively be in the hands of Bola Tinubu because Osinbajo is his confirmed stooge. Can you now see all these indices? Now, who in his or her right senses would believe that the North are backing Buhari. Certainly, not the North I know”.

The Obasanjo angle

DAILY POST also gathered that former President Olusegun Obasanjo is in the know of the permutation being worked out by Tinubu.

“Some Nigerians are so gullible”, our source said.

“What do you think Tinubu was going to do in Obasanjo’s house in Ota? To eat eba and vegetable soup?” He quipped rhetorically.

“He was part of the grand plan for Buhari to win APC presidential primary because they know he won’t last. He is on a mission, alongside the APC, to retain power in the South.

“They are planning to short-change the North again and the Arewa hierarchy have uncovered the plot. Like I said before, many prominent Northern leaders have taken a decision not to endorse the Buhari’s and an APC presidency because they also have access to the security report on his health.

“Obasanjo is aware of the document; Tinubu too. So they know very well what they are doing.”

DAILY POST had earlier gathered that President Goodluck Jonathan allegedly raised the issue of Buhari candidacy vis-à-vis his age and health during his homage to former Head of State, Ibrahim Badamosi Banagida.

Jonathan had on Saturday visited IBB at his Hilltop mansion in Minna, Niger State.

On his entourage were National Security Adviser, Col. Sambo Dasuki; his Chief of Staff, Gen. Jones Arogbofa; Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Senator Bala Muhammed; former Anambra State Governor, Peter Obi and Senator Ahmadu Ali, among others.

Jonathan, who canvassed support for his reelection ambition, was said to have appealed to his host to reach out to influential Northern leaders to back his 2015 bid.

The president also reportedly reiterated his promise to hand over power to a Northerner in 2019.

Efforts to get the reaction of the APC national publicity secretary, Lai Mohammed, on the purported health report on Buhari were futile.

He did not pick callls to his mobile line on Sunday and Monday.

DAILY POST, however, got through to APC South-East spokesman, Osita Okechukwu, Monday evening.

Okechukwu dismissed the claim on Buhari’s health as false and a way to cause doubts about the APC presidential candidate.

He said: “it’s not up to a month that we (APC) held a rally at the Eagle Square. From there, we walked to Transcorp Hilton, then to Police Headquarters and back to the Eagle Square. While some of us were panting, Gen. Buhari surprisingly did not. In fact, he walked faster than most of us.

“They are only trying to dig up what is non-existent; no record of their claim. The General has his doctor and anyone can contact him rather than speculate”.

“Some of us have been with him since 2002 and we know he is healthy. They are bringing this up now because they know Buhari has 60 percent chance at the polls,” the spokesman said in veiled reference to the PDP.

Continuing, Okechukwu assured that “Gen. Buhari is fit as a fiddle. Please disregard the news; it is deceptive and meant to douse his ever-growing profile.

“They are worried he has been accepted nationwide and even President Goodluck Jonathan, who is Buhari’s de facto campaign manager, cannot match his popularity and wide acceptance”.

When the oil pipelines are blown up bringing crude oil exports to near zero, the local naira will become useless such that the foreign reserves will not last three months before evaporating, the government will resort to borrowing which is just to delay the total collapse of the government. Salaries of everybody will be owed, massive job losses will set in with all unions going on strike.People, the consequences are just unimaginable because the government will crumble is less than six months. In the face of all this, the likes of Tinubu and other APC noise makers will run away from the country to go and continue their noise making from abroad.People like you will start running to Uk and other foreign countries to go and be sleeping in train stations, looking for menial jobs to keep body and soul together. All these pro-APC and Buhari campaigners will simply vanish from social media.A victory for Buhari (God forbid), will quickly bring an end to this strange union called Nigeria. aare07:
Once to everyman and nation comes the moment to decide; in the strife between truth with falsehood, for the good or the evil side.” J. R. Lowell, 1819-1891, (VANGUARD BOOK OF QUOTATIONS,VBQ, p 254).
For great nations, the choice comes once or, at most, twice. For Nigeria, the choice had come several times. And, the fact that, today, the failure of a country which was more advanced than South Korea, Malaysia and Thailand, among others, in 1965, is unanimously attributed to the lack of purposeful leadership is an indictment of the leaders as well as the followers.
To the best of my knowledge, nobody had been elected into office, either at the Federal, or State, level who had not enjoyed some significant measure of support. Even when the votes were supposed to have been rigged or bought, with “Stomach Infrastructure”, fellow Nigerians had been involved in the deals. Nobody alone can impose himself on a nation of 170 million people. As Joseph de Maistre, 1751-1820, in VBQ p. 80, has warned us, “Every country has the government it deserves.”

Buhari and Jonathan
So if Nigeria, a potentially rich, but, actually poor country, has a government in which a Minister can purchase two bullet-proof cars, at inflated prices, that is what we deserve. If another Minister can spend billions of naira leasing a jet for her official use; and, then go to court to stop anyone from asking questions, because her “boss” never did, that is what we deserve too. If the BOSS himself runs a Presidential Airline with nine aircrafts, while the Presidents of France and Brazil and the Prime Ministers of Japan and Britain manage with one each, that is what we also deserve.
By contrast, we now have a challenger, who was a former Minister for Petroleum Resources (he leased no jets) and a former Head of State (no Presidential Airways then). Yet, he could state, without fear of contradiction as follows: “While others who have occupied those same positions have grown mysteriously rich, I still live on my army pension. I own no foreign bank accounts, I own no companies profiting from government contracts.”
To me the difference is clear; as clear as drinking tea or coffee with milk; or drinking mud water. Let those who had become mysteriously rich explain the source(s) of their wealth to Nigerians – including how much tax they paid on them….
