Wilstino: Before you speculate, Experts says wearing nose mask, only helps prevent an infected person from passing the virus, it does not prevent an uninfected person from contracting it. Hence social distancing and good hygiene is being advocated. This is also the reason people are now advised to wear nose mask.
Hence, you may also look at it from the angle that Mr President is clean and doesn't want anyone meeting with him, to infect him with the virus. So all those wearing the mask there are infected already and only Buhari is not ba? Continue |

Skyfornia: SMH...
I have noticed with increase how some certain people on this forum abuse other individuals whose views are contrary to their own belief or dogma instead of expressing their arguments in a more mature and reasonable way.
A journey through some of their previous comments you will also notice that some of these abusers are Atheists and people addicted to hard substances.
You go about pouring out your vituperations on every thread, creating nuisance and getting supports from your kinds...for your mind you feel say you be James Bond.
Now to the business of the day..
Some of you believe that some radiations can can attack a cell in human body.
You believe that consistent usage of x-ray machines can cause harm to the body.
You uses phones that recognizes your thumb, eyes and face and respond instantly.
You've seen or believe there's a technology that detects when someone lied.
Yet you find it difficult to believe that a technology such as 5G is harmful to humans or cannot have negative effects to a human body? Now I'm not saying that I have a proof of it's danger but the possibility cannot be neglected.
Your claim is that 5G is a non-ionizing radiation yet ultraviolet rays, Microwave which also are among the non-ionizing radiation are reported in most cases to be harmful to humans and animals.
Chinese, the originators of 5G are busy destroying the masts and you are inside your small village abusing and cussing them.
Your colonial masters are determined to destroy all 5G programs in their territories, and you that studied physics in one local university in Nigeria is out here exposing your ignorance.
I weep for you. Leave them oooo. I love you for this response bror. Their case is similar to someone who doesn't mind the consequences of a thing but just after the huge and uncommon pleasure of it. |

Islam › Re: Sha'aban 1441AH: A Week Long Of Fasting by IDnoble1: 11:15am On Apr 03, 2020 |
Lukgaf: 1. The blessed companion Usama ibn Zaid , reports that he asked Prophet Muhammad : "Messenger of Allah, I have seen you fasting in the month of Shaban so frequently that I have never seen you fasting in any other month." Prophet Muhammad , replied: "That (Shaban) is a month between Rajab and Ramadan which is neglected by many people. And it is a month in which an account of the deeds (of human beings) is presented before the Lord of the universe, so, I wish that my deeds be presented at a time when I am in a state of fasting."
2. Muslim (1156) narrated that Abu Salamah said: “I asked ‘Aa’ishah (may Allaah be pleased with her) about the fasting of the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), and she said: ‘He used to fast until we thought that he would always fast, then he would not fast until we thought that he would always not fast, but I never saw him fast in any month more than he fasted in Sha’baan. He used to fast all of Sha’baan, and he used to fast all of Sha’baan apart from a few days.’” (IslamQA)
Above reports indicate that fasting in the month of Shaban, though not obligatory is very deserving and that Prophet Muhammad did not like to miss it. (Islam city).
For more about information about the virtue of the month, see here, for example
Today is Thursday, 2nd, April 2020(at the time of the post) - equivalent to the 8th day of Shaaban (NSCIA). By implication, Monday (6th), Tuesday(7th), Wednesday(8th) and Thursday (9th of April) are respectively equivalent to the 12th; 13th, 14th and 15th (Ayaamul beed) where fast is recommended by the prophets in authentic Hadiths.
To this end, you are implored to take opportunity of these days to earn great reward, seek forgiveness, prepare for ramadan and have your prayers accepted. May Allah make it easy for us all.
Do not forget to inform your relatives too for whoever points someone to a righteous deed is as if he does it. We pray Allah make us witness more of it on earth in good faith and sound health (Ameen).
Was-salam Alaykum Waramotulah wabarakatuh. . Shukran. Like how many days did the holy prophet use to rest from fasting in the month of sha'baan in preparation to embrace Ramadan |

Crime › New Ways Used By Nigerians To Defraud Opay On Oride by IDnoble1(op): 4:48pm On Jan 02, 2020 |
It can be painful as a Nigerian when you see that many of your fellow country men have the potential to be fraudulent. I just want to share my experience with some fraudulent Opay riders. Note: Not all the riders but some few ones do engage in these illegal acts. In the first instance, some oriders usually tell the passenger not to make payment immediately after reaching the selected destination but after some more minutes later when you might have even reach you final destination. This helps them to illegally get more pays from the operator (Opay). Another way they get involved in the dubious act is by picking up an order by a passenger on Opay app for a destination in which they know it will not be really profitable for them, then the Orider calls the customer who made the call to cancel the order for them, that they are far away. At times, the customers are charged for the cancellation. And the last which is the worst is done by picking an order and immediately pick enrout without getting to the passenger not to talk of carrying him, the Orider now calls the passenger that he is far away and can't come to pick the passenger at the location, that he should pay when the app asks for him to pay, that he would transfer the amount to the intending passenger after the payment. By making the payment, the Orider will be paid by Opay for the service that he has not rendered. You can also share your own illegal acts experienced with them. |

djon78: Yeah many schools do. I visited my cousin who is a strong born again that can pray heaven down and his kids 10, 8, 6 were dancing naira Marley soapy with the style and lyrics back to back. The eldest one has a mobile phone so the music was playing from his phone. I was shocked
Naira Marley is having a very bad influence on a lot of young kids, corrupting young minds. Nawao I think one needs to start letting the children know by teaching that those sons are bad for adults not to talk of children from time to time. I work in a school and I try to rebuke those kinds of songs when played in our party , even in our last meeting a pastor who is a staff member spoke about it and I was glad to corroborate his points. Those DJs too lack the sense of decency which should make them understand that there are songs which are not expected to be used in a party for juveniles. Really the society is not helping the children at all |
Family › Re: When Your Kids Have Crammed Immoral Song by IDnoble1: 3:39pm On Dec 26, 2019 |
CANDYDADDY: My Two adorable daughters at age of 5 and 10 years have being cramming up what I thought to be immoral songs lately.
One of them sang Naira Marley's 'Opotoyi' when she was doing house-chore this morning.
I have almost put all my electronic gadgets on parental lock just for them not to be carried away by immorality.
One of them is even singing 'Omo oni di rabata', I almost beat the hell out of her.
Have bought them various educational song CDs and all sort of things
Help! They learn it from the society, most especially at the school parties. And some schools do play most of the songs even when there's no party in the school |
