I'll get straight to the issue.
I've been abstaining from sex and masturbation for awhile now and I don't intend to engage in any sexual activities for awhile. The problem now is that anytime i am with a girl (esp the ones i find attractive) i get arouse even when I'm not thinking anything sexual. Just listening to the voice of a female gets me hard. It's affecting my relationship with my female friends. This is because I can't play, touch them with me having an embarrassing erection. These days i have been avoiding sitting behind a girl on a bike because no matter what i do my joystick will get hard and she would notice and even to alight from the bike without making my engorged instrument noticeable is another challenge . I don't give hugs to girls because I'll surely get hard .Sometimes, my girl friends will want me to see them off but I'll refuse adamantly because I can't stand up from my seat. I can't continue like this. Please my fellow men, how can i reduce this incessant erection and save myself from embarrassment

Because of the state of my mental health I have decided never to get married or have kids.

I suffer from intense depression and anxiety and other mental health problems. I'm unsure of my own future talk more of a child.

I do love being in relationships but I do that only for companionship and sex.

I don't know if I will regret my decision. The guys I have dated have been cool with my no marriage proposal but I don't think any Nigerian man will not want kids.

I'm thinking of moving to another country, buy a house, take care of my community and neighbors then when I'm old, I will move to a retirement home.

If I change my mind I can adopt a child, am not against adoption as I am with marriage, it depends on if my mental health improves.

The problem I have is that will I be lonely without a child, like I said I'm not into marriage despite being a woman trained in traditional home, it's not that I hate it or anything, it's not just for me. I will be unhappy being married.

But the child thing is bothering me, I always wanted a child, but i don't want my mental health to prevent me from loving and caring for the child.

Please advise.

I suffer similar fate with mental illness. Mine is bdp and depression. I also determined not to have children and if at all i must have a child. My wife must be psychologically and emotionally stable.
