President Goodluck Jonathan yesterday approved the composition and appointments of the management boards of all Federal Medical Centres.
A statement by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation Anyim Pius Anyim said the dates for the formal inauguration of the boards will be announced in due course by the minister of health.
The board members include, Federal Medical Centre, Abeokuta Alhaji Bara Bauchi as chairman, Mrs. Nkechi Sackey, Chief (Mrs) Gladys M. Sasore, Alh. Ibrahim Hassan, and Mrs. Josephine Soboyejo as members.
Federal Medical Centre, Asaba, has Bob Tyough as chairman, Mariya Umar K/Mata, Mrs. Oladunmi Odu, Evaristus Njoku and Dr. Robbie Ejifoma as members.
Federal Medical Centre, Azare has Prof. Lami Lombin as chairman, Hon. Bukar Kachalla Jere, Alh. Mohammed Daguro, Dr. Emenike Okoro and retired Gen. Ibrahim Sabo as members.
Federal Medical Centre, Bida has Sir George Egu as chairman, Chief Olabisi Johnson, Reuben Okoye, Mike Igolima and Hon. Timothy Ibrahim Jiya as members.

The OPC president said this was in the wake of various incidents of pipeline vandalisation and oil theft.
