And that is a metaphor for you being a physical manifestation of the One- God- the essence that you really are. So basically you are your own Jesus/saviour or messiah and your mission is to return to your true GOd nature, you first start by knowing yourself first.

And to your question- we all have Jesus, Mohammed, Buddha as reminders that we are all part of the One and the One is incomplete with everyone of us.

Man is certainly nothing and won’t exist without God. I mean the real God who happens to be acting as Man. Reading through the comments shows some groups known as “Atheists” see God through the ideology of the Roman Catholic. So therefore they are just like the Christians themselves.

Yes man is nothing without God because man is only a prejection, reflection of God. God is man in human form experiencing life from a different angle. God become man so that man can go back to being God pretending to forget its essence. After the play and acting for several years of time he/she/it goes back to the original form called -God

God will be more understood if we stop looking at it from the view point of the western/ Catholic and Nigerian pastors interpretations. God is all that is, Energy that is in us all.

Hello Nairalanders, I recently got converted to the religion of athiesm but I am not comfortable with some of the traditions like harassing people who believe in their God. Do I have to mock and continually harass religious people in other to build my 'faith' in athiesm? Do I have to pretend to like Satan also? What is the difference between athiesm and 'anti-christism'. Pls I would like this questions to be answered by my fellow Yoruba athiest brothers. Thanks

Let’s say you became irreligious and that doesn’t mean you have automatically become civilised, you just don’t fear hell fire and the wrath of the ferocious Christian idea of god anymore. However you need to understand that your actions are still your own responsibility. You still need to work on yourself and be a difference. You must show others that being a positively changed person without a book is possible. You cannot forcibly change others.

Respect and give the Christians enough room to decide their own fate, not by attacks and calling them silly names. Look at Frosbel, he is a changed man but still respectful

Majority of the so called “atheists” on here are still a product of aggressive Christian methods of bully, low interaction skill, primitive ways of reasoning etc. Being a bully is not what you want. Sometimes out of 100 folk,you might only make sense to one person and that’s enough. Your mental growth should be your priority, and don’t just follow others, be yourself.

The Holocaust was murder (on a large scale), and murder is sin, which is the transgression of the Law (1 Jn. 3:4). However, you can say that the Holocaust(which occurred because man has rejected the law of God) reeks of injustice, and has created anything but peace and happiness. Since they had to give a prediction as it’s expected of them most of them play it save by telling you rain will fall. The followers will demand for one if the pastors don’t. So let’s not blame any pastor for not predicting what happened recently.

Personally I do not think anyone can predict correctly, not because they can’t but because we all shift between timelines and there is absolutely no way to predict where a particular person might shift to. Nostradamus himself couldnt do it successfully

I have been dreaming about snakes for the past 2 weeks.. The dreams were not really specific but every single dream i had have a snake in it.. Even until this morning..

On a positive note snake is a symbol of knowledge. However if you are not careful you may lower your vibration with fear and become vulnerable to beliefs that imposes the negatives of snakes being demonic. Nothing is demonic unless your truly believe it is.

Your repeated dream of snakes shows something hidden will be revealed or clarity. Dreams usually are energy signals or indicators of what you might experience in the nearest future. Dreams are reminders that we ain’t just humans but God.

No need to panic and enter worship modes, ignore those who will try to feed you with fears. That is how they were raised and manipulated in their various churches.

The One is the All and the All are the One. Life is not real but an experience through our individual eyes. We are all different experiences, different views, different forms existence manifests. If you exist now, you have always existed and will always exist. Non- existence is unthinkable no matter how you try it.

Therefore the baby born today and the old man who passes away are just a start and a finish of an experience which are all you. This includes the Universe, planets, different forms in which You exists. So when you are asked to love your neighbor as yourself , it’s simply because your neighbor is you.

Ask Frosbel his personal encounter with Jesus.

Call him in lets share our conversion experiences then we will know who met with Christ before Coversion.

No one has had a personal encounter with Jesus, not even you. So no point asking Frobel that. I am Christ just as you also are Christ. The only encounter you can have is with the real you who is all powerful you seem not to be aware of at the moment. Religion destroys knowledge for sure.

I will not digress from the topic but I doubt the lives of 6 million Jews is more valuable than the victims of Hiroshima. Lives are lost everyday as it is part of nature to be born or to die. The saying that God has a chosen people is pure manipulation of individuals to be emotionally sympathetic to Jews. This is why it is highly doubtful such a god exists in the first place. The African slavery happens to be a lot more horrifying than any recorded horror put upon any race on this planet, why would a god allow that ? Just like the case of the Jews, it was horrible but has no connection to a god allowing it.

Now this question is directed mainly to christians and religious folks,and I want to emphasize that the intention is not to start an unnecessary argument. This is a topic that always caught my attention and I was dissapointed to see that it hasn't been raised before on nairaland,at least not to my knowledge. I understand that there is great animosity between christians and atheists right now,Muslims as well,but my intention is not to start up an arguement on who is superior or right but to find out the views of christians concerning this. When I was a Christian I never knew of the holocaust,I only heard about the 2nd world war so I never asked myself certain questions,but now that I know about it,I would like to ask christians and theists as a whole why they think their supreme all loving,omnipotent God would allow such horrific event to occur.

p.s I would appeal that only those who know about the subject matter should comment,and not just anyone who simply looked the word up in the dictionary.If you have read or seen documentaries or movies such as "Schindler's list" or "The Pianist" then you are in a good position to comment.

In case you don't know I have written a lot of about the history and word origin of the word Church. I'm an authority in this area, I have published several books about Christianity and Church.

In this post I just decided not to trace the origin of the word Church but to try to look at the Church (the body of Christ) through the eyes of the early Christians and through the eyes of God. But you guys love to do too know, instead of appreciating a write up you dismissed it and claim yours is the one that is correct. Nobody is arguing about who is write and who is wrong and their is no need to show off. We know you are knowledgeable, we are in the era of knowledge and knowledge is literally everywhere and even cheap.

Christianity is not about how much you know, it is about fellowship. I haven't been in Nairaland for a long time because it's ugly how fellowship brethren in Christ argue and abuse each other due to pride. Paul said knowledge puff up but love edifies. Let try to fellowship and brethren; appreciate each other work, build a relationship with each other and express the love of God to each other.
