But I just believe there is a God out there looking over us.. .this world wouldn't have exist in the first place if there is no supernatural power backing it up.things can't just come out from nothing without something making it happen. That's where God play His role
1.Basically what you are saying is "there could be" a god out there looking over you. This god looks over you when you sleep, take an shit and naked in the bathroom

2.This god created wild animals and yourself

3.The world couldn't have been created without supernatural power

4.This cannot come out of nothing

My questions to you:

Who created this god? where is this god now? how far away or close is it?

The rain falls, earthquakes happen, snow falls, wind blows etc Are these due to a supernatural power and what purpose will they serve if indeed a good caused them

Lastly, what formula was used in creating these wild animals? We do know animals cannot be craeted without manipulating with various DNA,or where they created out of thing air?

thelish:
So u don't believe his prophecies are from God? Who else can expose deeper things of the mind to another who haven't seen u before?
Prophecies are not from god or gods, some people just have the abilities to read into time lines. An event always have multiple possible outcomes, some folks are mentally capable of reading into them. When you cross the road without looking left or right you might get run over by a vehicle which is a possibility of happening or not happening.

Prophecies are usually means of for-telling worse outcomes to events to encourage people change their ways or actions. Usually they do not happen that way.

What's the mystery behind that??
Thanks.
Prophecy is a prediction of probable occurrence in the future. Time itself doesn't exist as everything is happening in the now. There are billions of parallel realities to what we are experiencing now. You may be in bed now, while another version of you is watching a TV,and millions/unlimited realities going on.

Some people have the ability to have a glimpse into what an individual will do next. This is an ability 98% of humans have no access to at the moment. People like Nostradamus,Edgar Casey,Credo Mutua developed the art of time travel into possible future usually while sleeping, meditating, mostly when their minds are 100% relaxed and focused. These people have given almost near accurate readings into the future

Prophecies/prediction is not a gift from god but an ability a dedicated individual can develop given the right tools and environment.

Don't forget today's Science(which is still millions of years behind) have developed tools that can forecast volcanic eruptions, floods, carbon dating and weather conditions.

Christianity Etc › Re: Paul Kalanithi: Why I Gave Up On Atheism by ifenes(m): 10:07pm On Jun 25, 2016
winner01:
This is actually proof that there is something about christianity that atheism seeks to suppress.

You have been following his posts but have never spoken against it. Same with ifeness who believes in the annunaki, he identifies as an atheist and no atheist has ever questioned him or any other sick ideas.
The Church started killing unbelievers as early as the 4th century. The killing (often with torture) of heretics, church splinter groups, dissenters, atheists, agnostics, deists, pagans and unbelievers was supported by almost all mainstream Christian theology for over a thousand years, starting with the intolerant St. Augustine (died 430 AD). Christianity had a long run as the world's most violent religion.

The Crusades killed 1 million innocent civilian men, women and children (not in combat).

In 1095, Pope Urban II made this speech to launch the blood-letting of The Crusades. The capture of Jerusalem, 1099. When they took Jerusalem, the Christian army butchered almost every man, woman and child in the city.

St. Bernard of Clairvaux (you can look it up) said when launching the Second Crusade: "The Christian glories in the death of a pagan, because thereby Christ himself is glorified."

In 1209, Pope Innocent III (look it up) called for a crusade to exterminate the Cathar people of France (the Albigensians), simply because they had different superstitious beliefs to his own stupid beliefs. Men, women and children were butchered by the Pope's forces. Rudolph J. Rummel estimates they butchered 200,000 innocent men, women and children.

In 1233, Pope Gregory IX encouraged the extermination of the Stedinger people of Friesland, on the imaginary grounds that they were in league with the (equally-imaginary) Devil. "The devil appears to them in different shapes", said his holiness, "sometimes as a goose or a duck". The entire people were exterminated.

What a shamful past you,winner01,are not aware of maybe due to little or no research about you beloved faith. You are living in a time when christianity is dying out,the reason why you think it is being persecuted.

I will add more;

Witch-hunting - perhaps Christianity's worst crime. Think how many poor innocents have been killed for God; how few have ever been killed for Satan. Many people think 1 million innocents were killed by the witch-hunters, a fella called Rudolph J. Rummel thinks 100,000.

The Church's crimes of witch burning were based on the grossest superstitions - for example, the weather cannot have natural causes but must be caused by witches. This would be comical provided we do not think about what happened to the utterly innocent victims of these delusions - men, women and little children picked from the populace at random and tortured and put to death. The Church should hang its head for ten thousand years in shame for what it did. How dare you defend and believe such a shameful institution.

Protestantism had no problem with the witch-burning, and continued the butchery of innocents long after the Reformation. For example, the "King James Bible" comes from one of these murderers. Luther, Calvin and Wesley supported the killing, just as they opposed science.

I will not talk about the Anunaki simply because it is beyond your understanding. You are a christian. Meaning, you support what the barbaric church did in the past, you oppose science and it will be pointless discussing science with you.

You represent the church and its past dealings. You shouldn't be taken serious because your reasoning and thoughts are 1000 years behind....

If domino whoever has turned his life around, i smile and pass whenever i see his comments. He's been posting such on nairaland for a while and i've also been here long enough to notice it. "But i've never spoken about it because i simply do not believe. The belief is just not there. Same goes with the annunaki.
I would never call his ideas or any other sick if he didn't quote me. I'll probably smile and pass like always. That is the definition of unbelief.
The difference between me and you is that I do not believe in his deity. You on the other hand claim not to believe in God and you spend your life speaking about Him. This is simply my point.
Nothing in this world will make me ever spend my life talking about domino whoeever the way you talk about God.

I'm at loss on why most atheists around the world are inclined to fight christianity. Worse is, even muslims turned atheists too. So what then is it about christianity? undecided That singular reason keeps me eager.

“A thousand times over, the death knell of the Bible has been sounded, the funeral procession formed, the inscription cut on the tombstone, and committal read. But somehow the corpse never stays put.”
“No other book has been so chopped, knifed, sifted, scrutinized, and vilified. What book on philosophy or religion or psychology or belles lettres of classical or modern times has been subject to such a mass attack as the Bible? With such venom and skepticism? With such thoroughness and erudition? Upon every chapter, line and tenet?”
- Bernard Ramm.

Do not share your unbelief with me and then falsely claim that i throw my belief in your face.

Thanks for your contributions, sir. I have few more questions.

How is it that christians are able to counter these "juju" by calling on their God? Why do some powers fall at the foot of certain religions when these religions draw power from their god? Christianity for instance?

Can this theory still be used to explain the existence of ghosts?

What about "demonic activity" and exorcism? How is exorcism effective?

Cc
Sarassin, immorttal, Loj, brigance, seun, sirwere, braithe, zoharariel, davien, johnydon22, neocortex, sidL, platteon, valentinemary.
Calling on gods to solve a problem is a "Permission Slip" It is not different if it is being used to destroy Juju or using juju to destroy god.

Every ritual, every tool, every technique is simply a permission slip that allows yourself to give you permission to be more of who you are.

You don’t really need them. But, because you are full, in a sense, of belief systems within your personality structure, oftentimes a particular tool that you are attracted to can make it seem easier for you to circumvent some of the belief systems you may think are holding you back. In a way it’s like giving yourself a free pass.

So using god to nullify juju can be very effective. But it’s actually you that’s making the changes, not the technique itself per se

Example;

Imagine giving yourself a slip of paper. And on that slip of paper is written “I give myself permission to…”. That’s a permission slip.

We can hand ourselves permission slips in various ways. Some examples would be - by doing a process to clear limiting beliefs, breathing exercises to release stuck energy, discovering answer through meditation/contemplation/introspection. By reading a book, attending a workshop, hiring a coach.

Or it may be as simple as somebody telling us exactly what we need to hear - summing up and expressing our inner knowingness that we have arrived at through our own life experiences, but we don’t trust ourselves enough, so it’s more supportive to hear it from somebody else.

Permission to do what? To change!

Same can be applied to Exorcisms and so called demonic activities.

You're assuming that God "defines" what is good and evil, I'm going to disagree with that.

God did not write the Bible, men did. Men who "claimed" to be hearing from God. Therefore - you're still saying the same thing as atheists "Men are the ones who define morality, not imaginary invisible beings"

it's up to you to choose what morality you want to follow, 2000 year old morals or modern day non-sexist, non-homophobic, non-misogynistic morals. And As for the concept of "ultimate good and evil" - being an atheist doesn't mean I think there isn't absolute good and evil. I do very much acknowledge good and evil, our definitions might differ on the subject though. Primarily anything evil is something that adversely affects society, God's genocidal tendencies are clearly evil because they adversely affect society.

Read up on general utilitarianism, if everyone behaved like God and suddenly started to kill anyone who had opposing views, what do you think the world world be like?

The laws that govern society have always been based on general utilitarianism. Stealing is illegal because if everyone was a thief there would be undiluted chaos, an action before it is considered "good or evil" is scaled out to a large proportion and it's effects on society measured. That's why homosexualism is legal in Europe and incest is not.
Well said...

I am still on my journey towards atheism and mental illumination. I thank you all for all your contributions on my previous thread. But of all the posts on that thread, two have left me in deep thought, and I think these posts provides the answer I have been seeking for.

These are the posts

@Immorttal & Sarassin, and anyone else who supports their line of thought, please elucidate further.
Immorttal & Sarassin have pretty much said it all. You are learning what is behind the veil. Actually there is nothing behind the veil except the real You. The mental state of a person determines he experiences. Be the change you want to see in the world and that's exactly what you will experience.

Misconception: "Seeing is Believing" (What we perceive determines what we believe.)
The Actuality: "Believing is Seeing" (What we believe determines what we perceive)

Your beliefs determine the reality that you perceive. Your beliefs determine your perception of reality.

You then immediately, automatically, (and usually unconsciously) interpret your perception of reality. That is, you (arbitrarily) assign, project, and "superimpose" an interpretation onto your perception of reality.

You then emotionally react to your interpretation of that reality.

You then have thoughts about this reality.

Then, based on your emotions and thoughts, you take action.

With that, we then have ;Beliefs ==> Perception ==> Interpretation ==> Emotional reaction ==> Thoughts ==> Action

Once the belief is messed up,the rest of course will follow suit.

When you are watching television and the current program displeases you, you do not try to change or transform that program. Instead, you simply choose another program that you do prefer.

Likewise, if the reality you are experiencing displeases you, you do not need to "change" or "transform" that reality. You only need to choose another version of reality to "receive", by synchronizing your vibrations with the "version" of reality you do prefer to experience. It already exists. All you have to do is "receive" it. You select the "channel" you're watching in life.

TO CHANGE THE OUTSIDE, CHANGE THE INSIDE.

People do not "create" their reality. They "select" it and "allow it in".

I Don't See How This Pic Explain That Story She Was Chased By The Dragon(The Devil ) She Represent The One True Church Thats Y Kanye West Sang That Song "No Church In The Wild"
I explained the exact verse you posted which didn't require me to go into details.

No point getting into the names of the twelves months,or "moonth" proper. Why? Because the bible frowns at astrology and this verse clearly states it. See Exodus 22:18 where the bible god( men) said of it "suffer not a witch( meaning, astrologer)not to live." Reason for this to Trap the Soul( energy field in an Avater/ human body)and keep it in cycle. This is exactly what Kanye meant. But not everything!

Revelation 12:1. " There appeared a great wonder in heaven, a woman( Catholic Church) clothed with the sun( being representative of Jesus, Horus,Helios and Amun- Ra) and the moon( being representative of Isis, Mary, Ashoreth,Madonna) under her feet. And upon her head a crown of twelve stars( one lone star in representation for each tribe of Israel) Verse 2, And she ( Catholic Church ) being with a child( as representative by a newfound religion as discovered with the contraction of word (Is)(Ra)(El) cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered ( meaning, to be free and brought into public acceptance)

The purpose of using words like " dragons" is to fill people with fear and make them stay obedient and fearful to unreal punishment. The bible. This is why all religion tend to run in families, basically to trap the new born soul and indoctrinate it as early as possible. It is well known that the gods of the bible forbid humans getting knowledge or inquisitive minds.
