PA
Age 34
Professional degree
IELTS LRWS , 8 8 7 7.5

Thanks for the reply.
Assuming that the PA has 3+ years of experience and spouse has LRWS 6666;
CRS with spouse BSc = 443
CRS with spouse 2 or more certificates = 444
CRS with spouse Masters = 445
If spouse has LRWS 7777;
BSc = 449
2 or more certificates = 450
Masters = 451

So to answer your initial question, the difference is one point each

Hi guys,

I'm post ITA, please has anyone used renmoney as POF??

80% of the money is in renmoney owned by accompanying spouse and it matures in June.
My only issue with the certificate is that one of the rules states "Where you request to withdraw funds prior to the maturity date, Renmoney may, in its absolute discretion approve/reject a request for early withdrawal"
Even though this is stated in the certificate it is not entirely true because I can liquidate at any time and just lose a percentage of the interest, I have been using them for more than 2 years and I know this.
I'm just worried that CIC might interpret the statement to mean the money is not readily available.

Please has anyone used them or know someone that has used them plus is it just the certificate of investment you attached
Can you get them to modify the letter and remove that part? If yes, do it. If not, don't sweat it, submit it like that.

COPR:

Both of you already have COPR before the wedding, so i dont see the point informing IRCC? Assuming one has COPR while the other is still waiting before the wedding, then it is mandatory to inform IRCC.

My point is that, you can inform them or not.

Not quite accurate, they have to inform. It's stated clearly that any changes to family configuration must be reported before landing.

Dear Seniors in the house.

We have been waiting in the Pool with a CRS of 448 since February 16th and from the trend, I don't think I can wait any longer.

My spouse alone did the IELTS that gave us the CRS score, I don't want to miss the next drraw hence wants to register for CBT without preparing just to earn 5-10points and boost our CRS for next draw.

Please, can I just walk in and write normal English and score at least 5 points to enable us get ITA in a fortnight?
Yes you can do that. Try to practice well within the few days you have before the exam

Please help confirm the different points a spouse will add, if he has Bsc, 2+certificates or Masters.

The CRS calculator seems to be turninoninown..., or I just don't get it.

Thanks ma.
What's the profile of the PA? that will help simulate the different scores

Hi,

My now fiance and I applied separately and we both have our COPR, but yet to land in Canada. We are now considering getting married before we land in Canada. It's just a small wedding. If we do proceed with the wedding, do we need to inform IRCC? How would this affect our COPR? We are trying to avoid having to come back for the wedding lol.

Any suggestions please?

You are free to get married before landing, but you MUST inform IRCC. Whether it's court o, trad o, church o or mosque, you must inform them. Both your COPRs will be cancelled and new ones issued.

Or you can both do soft landing and come and get married. If you don't want to come back for wedding, do the wedding in Canada.

In other news, twale to you and your fiance!! I like your style cheesy

OK...will tell him to consider ielts again.
On the BCS, by the time he evaluates it he will be 35yrs.(loss of points).
And if he do all u suggest, he may not meet 440...Do u think there is more more chance for point less than 440 (federal) than PNP.
Are there hopes for 400-420?
He is married to an ND holder.
Really appreciate your candid advice... My cousin should be on this forum soon too.
Thanks for all time and happy born day in arrears

CSE reply also came back advising we chill and check back if we didn't see anything till Apr. 28th(can u imagine shocked). Judging from the silent experience of Prof Raph and Boss Ifeoma, it's now i truly believe the wait is CONTAGIOUS grin

Please house help my cousin:

ECA - April 2 BSc
IELTS - LRWS - 7.5/7.0/7.5/7.5
CRS - 357
AGE - 34
RELATIVE IN CAN- Yes(Not Manitoba)

Please he is confused. What is your suggestion and which PNP is best NOC is IT.

Cc Ifeo.ma77
And others

First of all, he needs to rewrite IELTS and get 8 in listening, that will shoot up his CRS to above 400.
Then he needs something else to support that BSc. BSc alone won't give enough points to get ITA. Since he is an IT person, he should consider doing the BCS certificate in IT and then evaluate it with WES to get 2 or more certificates.
Doing these two things is enough for him to get high enough scores for ITA.
Is he married? Another option is to check if the spouse can be the PA.
PS. Hope the relative is a sibling not Aunt/uncle.

However, if he insists on following the PNP road, he can choose pretty much any province but he should consider going for OINP, jobsin IT are plentier in Ontario

Good evening house,

to beging with, i want to appreciate the effort that everyone is putting to ensure that peoples dream becomes a reality.

i was once a semi full member in this forum, but when things became a lil difficult, i had to go back to the drawing board.

was gonna Be the primary applicant but, age and increase in crs resulted in spouse been the primary applicant. Fast forward last week she cleared ielts with clb 9.

pls i would need the help of the Elders, the proffs and anyone who has any info on the few questions that i might need help with.

My question is this. will i need to get my Original degree certificate post ITA, or can i use statement of result since am not the PA. getting original certifcate from school will set me back by 50k and am trying to avoid such expenses unless its very important to include the original.

thanks in advance
No need, your statement of result is fine

On processing timelines - Part I

It has become increasingly clear since last year that IRCC is becoming overwhelmed by the number of express entry applications to be processed. I remember a discussion on earlier thread with @Tojued and others. In the face of overwhelming anecdotal evidence, I took the position that since IRCC maintains the 6 months processing timeline on its website it must still be true. I posited that applications are still being processed on time, maybe we are just not hearing about it. With my own 6-months timeline in sight, I've done further research and I'm re-evaluating my position.

To be continued....
grin grin grin
The longer processing thing started from June AORs. I'm waiting to see how many percent they'll declare. In my opinion, they processed less than 50% of the applications within 6 months

The form used to be optional. I don't know if that has changed now. If the envelope has not been sealed, just add it.

just the MBA and you're good to go. You can also avoid WAEC stress by evaluating with IQAS, ICES or CES. CES has a 12 weeks timeline - the shortest amongst all four

Please so I can sleep well at night, does overlapping in personal history result to ADR? Everyone around me keeps warning me not to overlap and that declaring the association/union I belong to doesn't matter but I have included it in a CV i sent to a Canadian school in the past.
Those people around you will mislead you straight into a ban.
Fill your personal history exactly how that history occured. If there's overlap, put it like that, if you belonged to an association, put it there!!
You better distance yourself from those people and fill your forms properly and truthfully.
Btw, it's a lie. Overlap doesn't cause ADR. I had overlaps on practically every line in my history and I didn't get an ADR.
Secondly and most importantly, ADR is not a bad thing. Even if you get it, so what?
