Hello guys, please i need help as regards filling my application. Got ITA 20th March. My husband and i are confused as reagrds this question. The part on travel history. " Has Ash and if applicable Ash family members taken any trips outside their country of origin or residence in the last 10 years ( or since their 18th birthday)" Does this mean that i have to include travel trips of maybe my siblings or parents Or just myself and husband? Thanks for your help...
First of all, remove your full name from your post.
No, just trips of your immediate family, i.e. you, husband and children

Guys... been in this journey for years. Awaiting my IELTS Result. Will be 34 In July and the pressure to get married is on. But getting married now could ruin my csr score and hamper my dream of being a PR holder.

Is there a way around this ?

Kindly advice.
You can get married immediately after AOR

Hello house, I just thought I should drop this here as it might help someone on this journey. I would try to keep this as brief as possible.

So some of you may know that I have been trying to get my North Cyprus PCC for a while now. Along the way, I Crossed paths with a very selfless Nigerian on this thread called Temas. He posted the first step by step process of getting the PCC, even shared the link of the agent I eventually used. Before I start rambling about how great this guy is let me go straight to the point.

I would advice anyone looking to get a PCC from North Cyprus to use an agent. Not that you cannot do it without one but if you don’t want to be as fraustrated as I was just save yourself the headache. What do you need?

1. Write a letter giving the agent proxy to apply for and collect your PCC on your behalf ( Pm me for his contact details)
2. Notorize this letter ( did mine at high court Ikeja for 1,500 naija. They will even take 1,200 if you can bargain)
3. Send/Take this letter to the Ministry of foreign affairs Abuja to authenticate it ( this would cost you btw 5 -10k and would take a day or two)
4. Thereafter, take the letter to Turkish embassy Abuja for authentication ( cost $20 per page and would take btw 2 days to a week)
5. Send the letter along with 2 passport photographs to the agents address in North Cyprus ( used dhl for 26k and documents got there in about 8 days). *please emphasize that it’s North Cyprus not just Cyprus before they send it to Larnaca. Happened to me an they had to send it back to Turkey then Ercan*
6. When the agent gets your documents he would inform you and then you’ll need to pay his fees( Cost $150 dollars cry cry. Did western union)
7. You would need to also send him your passport datapage via mail

After all this you should get the soft copy of your PCC in like a week. He would send the hard copy via normal post( I sha don’t need it). Finally, It has ended in praise. Please help me thank Temas, he kept checking up on me when Turkish police were frustrating my and my proxy. Thank you sir and I hope one day I’ll meet you and madam in canny.
Wow!! Page 1 material right here @Joo2018
Congratulations Swansy, whew!!

I can't get over my result. Am not so good in writing, I practiced so hard for the writing and manage to pass and listening that I feel so confident about messes me up. I seek for advice for a remark I got a go ahead from just one. I have searched and got only one case where listening was upgraded. Don't know what to do. Please guys I need advice should I go for a remark?
First attempt LRWS 8.5, 6.5, 6.0, 7.5
Second attempt LRWS 7.5, 7.5, 7, 7.5.

I'm kind of certain I did well in the Listening and anticipated an 8.5, what could possibly go wrong?
Nothing ventured, nothing gained. In your place, I'd definitely remark. Choose all modules just for the hell of it

Hello all,
I have a few questions as I prepare for ITA, which hopefully I should get sometime in May. My wife and I are applying (with her as the PA). We were just informed by our respective contacts in our schools that they have sent our verification back to WES. So hopefully our WES ECA reports should be out sometime around middle of May. We have also scaled through IELTS and our CRS stands at 458. So my question is how early can we begin to put together our requirements?

How long does it take on the average to schedule a medical test and get the report out? Is it okay for the date on the medical report to precede ITA?

Is it acceptable for the date on the employment reference letter to precede ITA? If so, boy how many weeks? In other words, can we start processing job reference letter in April even though we may not apply till May ending?

Are there any requirements that I can only start processing after ITA? Or can I just start collating everything now?
Book for your medical test right away, qlife has a long wait.
You can gather everything before ITA

Please i'm at a fix.

Seeing that WES calls it a Postgraduate degree (one year) What do I select in the main profile? My options are:
- One year program at a university?
-Two year program at a university?
- Masters OR Professional degree?

Please I would appreciate your prompt response.
Use what's on your ECA report - one year program

Hi Seniors, I have a few questions- (Post ITA, filling out forms):

1. If one of my parents had a child out of wedlock, that makes the child my half sibling right? How about if my parent was not married to the child's parent, does that make the child's parent my step parent?
2. Do I need to fill in my academic and professional certificates that I did not do ECA for, in the education history?
3. If the answers to the questions in number (1) are "yes", does this apply to my spouse too?
1. No

I applied through an agent as federal skilled worker, I have filled ITA and IMM consecutively in 2016 ,I paid visa fee and biometrics in2017 did proof of fund in 2016,I paid for licence as a printer as I applied as a printer, and the agent told me I don't need IELTS,I should just provide all my credentials,I provided everything for him,he collected several money like working permit fee from me,till I get biometrics letter at July and I did my biometrics on 24th at vfs lagos ikate ajah, can it be fake as I did biometrics, here is my WhatsApp no ,I need your assistance in the stuff,I have my application no with me but I don't know how to track it,here is my email address

Kindly provide us a summary of your application.

Oga, as at 24th July 2018, permanent resident applicants were not required to give biometrics.
Your agent scammed you out of all your money and then applied for visit visa for you just to get you to do that biometrics and feel that 'its not fake'.
The visa was probably refused and he kept quiet.
Cut your losses and forget about that episode. Start afresh and do it yourself. Start by reading page one and then read this thread slowly and thoroughly.

Stop sharing your phone numbers and email address on a public forum, the only people who will contact you are those who will try to take advantage of you and exploit your ignorance of the process to swindle you.

Oh and you definitely need IELTS

It is not true. I wrote about 320 words, collected extra sheets and got an 8. Your grammatical accuracy, structure, coherence, flow and vocabulary range are what matters. It should be the exact length (250) or lenghtier. Perhaps, they had every other points checked and were short of lenght, which would make the advice of extending the lenght to 10 more words at least relevant. I would worry more about coherence especially for task 2 and grammatical accuracy for both tasks considering the time pressure. You had an 8 before so you stand a better chance in your next (and last attempt hopefully). But get a third eye to look at your personal writing drafts, you might be surprised at the evaluation.

I couldn't agree more, I definitely wrote above 300 words in both tasks 1 & 2. I get that people love to hype what they did different and tout that as the only solution to the writing problem, but the most likely reason for an improvement in the score, is that the writer learnt to write better.

Hi Guys, I just stumbled on this good thread after I had started my Canada Immigration processes. Please. I have questions that require urgent answers:
1. I have generated a Reference Number on WES but yet to Pay, because I plan to pay via Western Union transfer. I registered as a SINGLE, although, I'll be getting married soon. Will I get more point as a single or should I get married first before I begin the process...which is more rewarding?

2. Having submitted a WES application as a SINGLE, can I reopen another WES as MARRIED and begin the process all over or can I write WES to change my status or open my page for editing?

3. Is it advisable to use a friend as relative in Canada, will the know?

Please, I need your sincere answers base on experience and facts. Thank you.
Oga, WES has nothing to do with applying as married or single. WES doesn't allocate points. You need to educate yourself on this process before you start - so you don't make mistakes.
If you use a friend as relative, how do you plan to prove the relationship? Like I said before, stop and spend some quality time doing research, before you make fatal errors

For someone who used 2 sittings results for University entrance...do I need to evaluate both with WES, NECO and WAEC?

Secondly, 448 point good enough to earn an ITA?
No need, just use WAEC only. Your results don't matter in this process.
448 is good

congratulations!

Hello everyone, My husband and I have had intentions to relocate for a while now but we’re not sure how to go about it till we found this thread and watched some videos on youtube.

We have begun our ECA with IQAS didn’t know about WES before now and also preparing for IELTS but I have a couple of questions.

From the eligibility quiz we have taken, my score is 394 (I have a B.A certificate, I’m less than 30 years of age and I have 2 years proven work experience as an HR)
My Husband’s CSR score is 400 (He’s above 30 years of age, about 6 years experience as a graphic designer, and an HND) what can we do to increase our point?

-we have a close friend in Canada can we add him as a relative living in Canada to claim the point? if so , what are the things we’ll need to do to prove our relatedness to this person?

-I have been reading about knowing the appropriate time to enter the pool, Please I need more explanation on this.

As to POF, can we include our pension fund? If yes, how do we go about this?

Any other information you think might help is highly appreciated.

1. You should look for and additional qualification. CIPM, CIMA, diploma etc. Your scores will shoot up.
2. You can't claim a friend as a relative. Don't try it.
3. The time to enter the pool is whenever you've completed ECA and IELTS.
4. Yes. Have your PFA write you letters that you have access to 25% of your funds.
5. You still need to read more, visit page one
