Onegai, I know nothingtodoinlagos and have seen their latest program but Nne,I'm passing on that one. I'm not a good swimmer so wont risk that as im not sure of the quality of life vests they'll be providing. I think it starts today ,I'll wait for my friends to send me pictures.
You can also follow social prefect. They organize fun local tours with the latest being "Omu resort" on 30th May.
I'm cool now with just truppr and my regular weekend run/booze group cheesy

My hike was Ben Navis, Scotland
Onegai:
Madam, please have you seen this site?

http://nothingtodoinlagos.com/

Someone sent me a link asking if I wanted to go Kayaking in the Lagos Lagoon! I don't know if my liver is that strong but Himself is already excited. And they have other events they organise.

Where was your hike? My longest hike was the Grand Canyon, south rim. And there was this weird hike in the middle of nowhere, where I told my brother "dude we are black, if a serial killer happens upon us, we won't make it. Turn back now!"

Yes i am in Lagos but i will be leaving for orientation camp by His grace next week. Please is there watsapp group i can be a part of? A group wer they share daily routines?
No, I don't know of any whatsapp group.
I know a group that will demand your physical presence daily for work outs.
Time spent on whatsapping routine would be better spent doing something as easy as light jogging within your street, rope skipping etc.

Are you in Lagos? If yes, I can introduce you to a group; no pity party but people with weight issues who come together to shed weight, talk, have fun and encourage each other.

Hallo Ifyalways,
Sorry to butt in, but I saw this thread about looking for good land to buy in Awka.
Did you by any chance get anything good within your budget?
If so, I'd be interested, thank you.
I didn't get in Awka but a neighboring town and at a relatively good price.

I have her account details. I can give it to anyone that wants to donate but I can't type it here. Guess she wants some sort of secrecy.

She's not been online for sometime now, even my last set of emails to her are still unreplied. I hope all is well undecided

Visited Erin Ijesha some months ago. The government of both Osun and Ekiti have to do something about that place; so much tourist potentials wasting away.

I climbed all the way to the 7th step and wandered further down inside the village after the mountain( Ekiti state).

Wow, Timy22. Well done. There's no point in me meeting Godslove anymore then.

@Godslove, our meeting morrow is cancelled, get the much needed rest,i'll send you what I promised you.

But are you living alone? Don't you have any adult relative that can either move in with you or allow you stay with him/her until you put to bed at least? What about your friend(s) or baby daddy's people? Besides money and stuff, you need people around you, childbirth is not child play.

Onegai cheesy cheesy cheesy
It's "kwarruption" to be thinking of getting your LO a pony. We are in the era of buy 9ja to save naira and you want to import a pony from UK? shocked
There are two options for you :
Relocate to Daura with LO, baba Buhari I heard, has about 20 horses, he'll be glad to have you around and LO would ride as many as she wants.

Go the old fashioned way. Get down on all fours and LO would ride away. You'd get to kill two birds with one stone sef ; great exercise for you, fun riding for LO.

My last travel was hiking, real tedious but fun. Tried my hands on flowering and gardening , poor things withered away. I will give it a trial once more soon.

Can it be found on the market yet or you are the sole distributor?

I don't know precisely (I didn't get a list myself) but from other mums in the pregnancy thread, some things like:

Diapers (newborn size) a pack
Soap (I've seen Imperial Leather soap mentioned or Dove Pure and Sensitive soap).
Bleach (Sodium Hydrochloride, HYPO bleach is he one most hospitals use).
Vaseline (you can use it as a diaper cream).
OP can use one of her towels, she should boil it then wash. That will sterilise it for the baby towel.
Baby onesies (baby pajamas are okay and I don't think the OP can/should buy any baby clothes. Also check the second-hand people, wash and bleach)
A baby shawl (she should get from the people who sell secondhand) or use a wrapper
Detergent
Ladycare sanitary pads (rather than adult diapers)
Use shea butter or coconut oil rather than baby body lotion.
Avoid powder (doctors will tell you that).
Cotton wool (Lord knows why this is on the list but i have seen it on some people's lists)
A baby can use any type of comb, same thing is to sterilise it by washing in hot soapy water and some bleach.

OP what else is on the list? That should cover the basics for a month or 2 of infant care and please explain to the matron about your plight that you cannot afford more than the basics. You have to cut your coat according to your size. I'm pretty sure someone in your church will be willing to help.

May I suggest we not give the OP money but let us are who is around her area who can buy and give her the stuff? Sorry o, but ive been scammed recently by someone who called God more than the OP (she actually was a youth pastor sef), claimed she was an orphan and a student (when I got ahold of her friend, that one screamed in shock to hear that because her girl was a graduate and her parents were very much alive).

Btw madam, how was your trip? Didn't you see on the other thread where I said I needed help too? Horse-riding lessons and gear ain't cheap cry
Thanks. The 3,200 for 90 diapers particularly caught my eyes. Your other thread? Will check it out asap.

Godschild, have you seen my last email(sent around 9am actually) to you?

@Onegai, please dear can you help me with a list of the basic but important things that 15-20K can get the OP. Thanks smiley

I'm not sure asking her Fbk friends about her pregnancy is cool. Besides, if she's actually scam, she can easily get her Fbk friends to corroborate her story. OP did send me her pictures and if she's the one, she's actually pregnant. I will meet her morrow anyways.

OP, there are so many doubts cos of the inconsistencies with your story. Being very straightforward and honest from get go helps.

Silvofitz:
Well, I just wonder what such lie would pay anyone. For a young woman to allow her pictures on a forum like this, it must be a serious matter. For those who care to help, this woman as we speak, is in a restaurant at Gate, Ibadan selling pure water. She works, so alms is not her concern. Feeding is not even her problem. Her major concerns are access to her son, accommodation and a platform to work as a stylist. She uses all the money she makes to feed herself. The picture below, the children church of Gospel faith Mission, which is not under lock and key is where she passes her night most of the time. According to her she checks in there around 10 to 11pm, and leaves the premises to the canal around 5am to take her bathe before anybody gets there. Everything she said was verified before posting on Nairaland. At the church there were church members cleaning the environment, when we went there to take pictures. I only raised alarm because of the risk of sleeping in unsecured premises, and the emotional stress of being separated from her only son. And these are weighty.
Dunno why you have to quote me and not folks that actually believed your story.

Now, you are being a bit honest, me likey. I'm not fooled by stories nor allow sentiments overshadow my sense of what's obtainable on ground, Nay.

Ok, we've established that she does not sleep on the streets, that's good.

No point garnishing your story with half truths and lies. Anyways, over to NLD. I've made my point which is : Nigerians offline are not mean people; we look out for our neighbors and there's no way this woman would be sleeping on the streets, assuming any part of this story is true cos getting a Camera phone to take pictures and give it a story is nothing.

cococandy:
It could be true. She might have owned the phone before being sent out.
And the story does say she has a canal where she bathes and does laundry.
She must be extremely neat to look that clean for someone bathing in a canal and sleeping on the streets.

I live in Nigeria and understand the streets. It's gonna be near impossible for a woman, her age( ability to work, feed herself) , not disabled in any way, no clinging baby NOT to get family, friend or stranger to accommodate her.

Isolate this case, show me where you have read/heard/ seen such a story especially in the western part of Nigeria. Keywords:
Can fend for self
Is not pregnant
Have no baby
Is not sick
Things might be tough for her,I agree but to say this woman is sleeping out on the streets, that's a lie!!!!
