Let me reiterate : EL Paso folks were honest and straightforward with their charges and deductions as they will inform you before you make ANY payment. It was my choice to pay.

Doctors fees is $2500, minus $149 when asking for refund.

Hospital bills is $2500. An extra non- refundable $250 if you want to pre-pay. So total to pay for hospital bill is $2750. When asking for refund you get $2500 minus $149 service charge.

They explain ALL this to you before you make payment.

Your letter of introduction from employer should state not just your salary but also all the other added bonus and if all is being paid into same account ie your salary account, then your case is pretty much straight forward.

As a married man traveling alone, you should take great note with filling: how much you spend monthly on living expenses and how much you give to your dependants monthly as the sum of those two deducted from your monthly income is your " disposable income"

VI cases are treated at Sheffield UK while ikeja cases are treated at Abuja.

Then her hubby vex thinking say na vex matter, instead of doing a Dropbox renewal for his own visa that expired, he decided to apply with wify and their child and go for interview. Fast forward to interview day, armed with all documents, docs correspondence etc they gave him and their child visa and still denied wify again saying she lied at her first interview! I tire for the case.

I think she should give US a break for now and try somewhere else eg Canada.

Yes dear, First trip to US, First birthing experience after 3 US visa refusals with the last one being in December. She flew Emirates, 303,100 ngn to JFK. Turkish airlines, Arik etc are cheaper though.

In my quest to make sure she got the visa, I paid El Paso hospital and Doctors fees in advance against the good advisory I got here. The deductions no be here ooo. $145 refund processing fee for Hospital bill, $250 again deducted from hospital bill and $145 deducted from Doctors fees. That's excluding the registration and Doctors letters. Nearly $750 gone . . .Just sharing so no one makes same mistake as I did.

Time spent on fbk, Instagram, turning up etc can be spent acquiring a skill but lai lai, Naija youths are too posh and fly to think and work.They are mostly jobless but would carry expensive phone, waste money on data, wake by 10am to look for job online/scam/beg/waste their time when serious West African immigrants(Togolese, Ivorian) are out with their tools in their backpack as early as 6am going to sites and earning reasonable money daily.

See Ghana, Togo, Benin Rep. Boys making cool money in Lagos, marrying quite early and taking good care of their young families. I recently noticed my security's room was absorbing water(the walls) and we called a young Togo boy to screed the wall. His workmanship fees was 12K pere and he finished in less than 3 hours. While he was working for us, his phone kept ringing; job offers waiting for him. The average 9ja youth would be using phone of 50K, with 2K bank balance believing that he will hammer/God will pick his call one day. How so, I ask
