She was able to contact Femi from the so-called prison? Super story,Part 2,scene 1. |
The spirit of women especially those that have passed through the pains of childbirth. No matter the tribe or religion, once childbirth is involved, every one will contribute and help. Welcome to the world new baby. Hope they teach Basirat what and how to use family planning before she leaves the health center. ![]() |
Signed. |
Afam4eva: This is Nigeria and Nigerians are religious people and won't go about killing their baby because it came from a r.ape. The fact that you Londoners r.ape, defend r.apists and end up flushing the baby doesn't mean we Nigerians do the same.Biko get in touch. |
I dont just understand how nld ended up with so many pigs. A building collapsed and maybe some people are trapped inside and some folks are busy playing politics? @OP,when did this happen? where exactly at Muri Okunola ? May God save us ooh. ![]() |
idupaul: The soldier has overstepped .. He should have handed over the guy to the appropriate authorities so the Lagos traffic edict can be applied.. What I see here I just plain intimidation meaning if the guy does not obey him he would shoot the guy for crossing a road and this clearly goes against why the law was put in place. The law was put in place to protect the guys life and as such the penalty of breaking such a law can't be a punishment that is a probable threat to lifethis is the type of "correction" Lagosians understand! Kai and Lastma would collect N500 or less and leave the offender. This makes more sense. |
I'll just "swallow" what I wanted to type. I no get strenght for fight. The bigger question is : What do Igbo's want ![]() |
My besties are all singles. |
All the best @ OP. ![]() |
@OP,4000K a month is very very poor. What!? Do you know anyone in Lagos? Have a place where u can stay in Lagos? I could arrange a better job for you but ONLY in lagos. Have you tried explaining to your church? |
ayodeji752: It seems u guys dont really know d process of deferring admission in ui. U must do all d registrations and pay all d fees before u can be talking of deferring admission. My advise for whoever wants to help is to give dat boy any amount he/she can afford. All i know is dat he is gonna graduate if he has d determination. @op, i'll advise u to try and get dat money and pay for d first year, make sure u hav a nice point like 4.5 and above in ur 100Level and be close to ur lecturers. I can boldly tell u dat ur lecturer will be d one dat will cater for u till ur final year but u must let dem know how brilliant u are tru ur cgpa. Ui lecturers hate brilliant students being droped out of d university because of financial problems. I know many students in college of medicine dat u are beta dan financially.Question is how would he raise the "acceptance, registration" and others? How? Raising the 20K is not the major problem but after that what next ![]() Please come up with a realistic answer/solution. |

If it started by 3am then there should be no one inside, hopefully. Truth is that this misfortune would turn out to be someone's fortune. Fire fighters on ground- Nice. ![]() |
callola: In my tribe (anambra state) if a woman have a child out of wedlock, d child bears d maiden' name. As far as we are concern, any child born out of wedlock belongs to d lady's family even if the man marries d gal later he must forego d child unless his inlaws decides to dash himIndeed. See ya mouth like Anambra state and dash him child. Mscheeew Just say in your hood or villa but do not involve a whole state in your lofty dreams. thank yous. @Topic,Much ado about a not-so-well-planned kpekus. Na only for internet dem dey ask dis kain question. Go ask Annie Idibia, lola Omotayo and Genenvive the surnames of their various children pre and before proposal. Baby North West nko ? Give pikin im papa name- simple. If you no remember him papa name, give am your own papa name or any name you fancy. |

Damitism: <<====CONCERNING MY FAMILY===>>Good morning. I've got to be brutally honest here and it might hurt. I could be wrong though and God has the final say. First, you said in your intial post that you were working(part time) before you fell sick.what kind or work? Which state do you live at? If i understood your post,20K is just acceptance fees ,after that comes the main tuition fees and then hand outs, text books plus others. Realistically speaking, how are you going to get through all that It would have been a different ball game altogether if you are already in school because you would have been used to the system, know how to get around certain hurdles(financial). You do write well for a Nigerian Undergraduate. Here's my honest suggestion - Can you defer this admission to say next year and we'all put heads together to look for a job for you? It's not the best of news or suggestion,I know but from where i stand its do-able. You are still young and intelligent,Jamb should not be a problem for you. My logic is this :If you can get something to do for one year, you'll be able to save a substantial amount of money to start school next year. The options are unlimited -you can even go to the open university or part time schooling(subject to your course of study) Please, understand that i am not playing God in your life but I am telling you what i would have done had i been in your shoes. Your friends might laugh at you, you will feel down and bad,you might want to blame God and poverty but remember, life is not a competition nor a race. Everything works for our good, pleasant or not. I am not good at writing long posts but i hope you get my drift ![]() Think through and decide on whats best and realistic for you at this point. NB: There is a charity org. run by Nlders. Its called TEHN. You can send them an email and see what they can do. nairalandcharity@gmail.com All the best ![]() |
Yoooooo. M'ate. Death no one kain yeye man wey no dey fear face. May God comfort those he left behind. |
Declaring three or thirty days mourning is not enough. Breadwinners are gone, loved ones too - Settle the families of the affected ones with cash. It won't wake the dead but would surely ease the suffering/pains of those they left behind. Probe, comission of enquiry et all does NOT concern the masses or affected. We all know how it ends ; all English typed on papers that would be used to sell ube na oka. |
To my Yoruba peeps, please is adigboluja a yoruba word?If yes, what does it mean? Thanks ![]() |
Chimaaba: Simple Igbo phrase I don't sabi, e beIgbo is a tonal language hence the tone decides when its a statement or question. However, the suffix "kwa" more often than not, makes it a question. O di kwa nma? = question O di nma = statement/response to question. |
Do they still do this ? Arrrgh. Each man to his own but darn, this is gross. |

@OP,I got your PM and emails. Congrats on your admission and get well soon. I've got a few questions though to ask you: How do you plan to survive in school(feeding, accomodation, transport and handouts) ? What about your parents, relatives etc? How much is the school fees? I'm not even in Lagos right now so I cannot meet with you to verify or something. I think student's status(es) can be verified online so any other nlder can do that. I'll be following the thread and if i am blessed and led to support you,I'll let you know via PM. God bless. NB:Maybe you can move this to the religion/family section ![]() |
