Bomi:
NL, What should I do? My daughter age 22 years has been telling me of a lecturer in her school.

Right from 100 level she has been harassing her and now she suppose to graduate she fail her and told her at a point blank that if she did not sleep with Her she Will not graduate.

She seek the counsel of senior lecturer in her school and other Nigeria university and she was advise not to be stubborn.

What should I do. Please advise me quickly before I kill someone.
Is there any evidence?
2 ways to deal with this sort of problem in Nigeria
If there is real evidence, get a lawyer to sue the freaking lecturer. The downside is that justice hardly comes overnight in Naija, this approach wud prolly take ages . . .ur girls education and future wud be delayed.
Get some bad boys in the same school to go shake up the randy old goat.Downside is that the same boys might later ask for more from u or ur daughter. . . .
May God give you the wisdom to make the right choice.

Dear Ify,
I'm really curious to know what led to your conversion to Islam.

From your posts,you are a 'pastor's daughter'?

Can you just share with me how you became a muslima.

Thank you.

Ideally the Police should not be manning Bank security but this is Nigeria. The private security companies in Nigeria are ill equipped for these boys.
Which Bank Robbery so far have the Police been able to abort, have their been any meaningful arrest, robbers apprehended?
We clamor for change and when it comes . . . we complain. There is no harm in trying the private security companies,IMO,most establishments have been using it for years now and the results are OK.
This myth that private security companies only carry tear-gas and baton is so freaking hilarious!

The Police, with all the APCs, and range of automatic weapons available at their disposal, are unable to successfully secure banks, how much more private securities whose only weapons consist of side batons and pepper sprays?

Hello ex,have u eaten,how was your night,did u sleep well,what are u wearing,where wud u be going today  huh
Its not bad to be friends with an ex but truth be told, she is yet to get over the dude.Once there is a real break-up and one of the parties enters a relationship,he/she wud channel all his energy on building the new flame rather then calling up an old past tense for pleasantries. She ought to be soaked-up totally, savoring and getting to know her new man better rather than clutching her phone calling an ex!
She is calling cos the break-up was fake . . .probably the new guy is loaded or the old dude did the dumping.
