Ilelobola: Here's a photo of the nanny that allegedly took him. I pray they find him soon .
And here's what's doing BB rounds though I can't confirm if it's true or not.
"For those of us who are mums, or planning to be very soon, here are some security tips for us to work with, but the major thing is for God’s guidance and protection over our families.
A 10-months old baby was kidnapped in an estate on Saturday morning 6.45 am by their 2-weeks old nanny, right under the parents nose. Very well behaved lady indeed, named Victoria. This family had been married for 6 years and this happens to be their first baby. As special as this baby is, the mum and dad are usually always around or at least a relative, the nanny does not go out with her alone, even within the compound. But she still succeeded in kidnapping this baby…the question is how?? The dad is usually in the habit of locking their compound gate by himself at night and opening the gate very early in the morning, (even though they had a security guard), so on that fateful day, he went downstairs to open the gate. The mum apparently wanted to take her bath, and the dad was downstairs, so naturally she called on the nanny to hold the baby for her so she could quickly have her bath. The nanny carefully strapped the baby on her back and pretended to be going about her normal chores, she swept the porch downstairs and cleared the waste into the bin, then she carried the waste basket and told the gateman she wanted to throw the waste outside the gate. …bam! That was it, she escaped with the baby and by the time her number could be reached, the call was traced to Seme border at 9.00 am the same day, in just 3 hours!. They have been contacting the parents of the child with about 20 different numbers within 6 days from Cameroun, and other locations, but have not named their price yet, apparently because the baby had just undergone an operation some days to the kidnap, and was bleeding from the surgery point. They are yet to name their price as I write…." The heart of men is extremely wicked.May God in his mercies keep the baby, make the parents strong and finally bring the baby back home. @Rasputinn ,Babys' picture is on the first page. |

Ujujoan: Aside from the whole financial aspect, Edo women wield a lot of power in Nigeria. Their culture allows that more than any other culture I've seen!
In my village, women don't even join for town/village meetings, but in Benin they do!
This is probably why men see women as their equals and the whole 'head of the home' thing just don't fly around there!
Despite the fact that this poster is incredibly rude and shallow, she does have a point! Very True. Posters choice of words did appear rude, maybe cos English is not her language. |

As soon as she barely understands what 'boyfriends' are for and how a pe-nis(where the man's brain resides for the most part) operates blissfully and catastrophically. . . .period!
As soon as she starts having 'em boyfriends. . . she is an emancipated minor with the ultimate "consenting adult's" rights and priviledges UNRESTRICTED package. . . mwah! As long as she is not being sexually molested by older 'boyfriends'/male relatives(1 year or more). . . .and her joohsie-poohsie/STARBUCKS WI-FI cappucino dispenser of a 'spiritually-humid, yeast-trap of an ever-incubatin'/salivatin'/fermentin' contraption' of a bug-breeder/spreader, (between her thighs. . . that she has not even learned how to disinfect properly or keep clean exogenously. . . . ). . . .as it keeps twitching/itching/moving/leading her, she mos-def has my FUUUUUUUUUUUULLLL blessings.
Oooooooh. . . . them 'boyfriends' of hers/theirs can keep molesting each other within her/their age groups to kingdom orgas-meek-come. She will learn soooooooooo learn. . . .
Who has time to 'judge' ENDLESS police/welfare/DEFACS cases in this Ay-Meh-Ri-Kay where highly-experienced 5 year-olds give BJs/VJs, better than my ancestors and behind yellow, 'short', school buses too far that marrar?( Short buses=special transportation vehicles, provided by the American school districts for extremely, mentally-challenged children with multiple, trisomy complexes. . . . ) after connecting on FaceBook, Twitter and God knows what next/else. . . and with ALL da' sex-texting in this modern-day/age at the rate of 2000 words per second or greater via cellphones/sign-lingo pneumonics in churches/afterschool programmes or even during choir-practice/Sunday school classrooms included(. . .in the forms of all those re-tarded-looking alphabets such as ROFALMFBOOOOOO rubbish, used as full time academic curriculum all year round? Or where crack-headed junkies of children keep murdering themselves or their siblings, classmates or parents/guardians in hot or cold blood, all because of those their geeky, "crawfish-looking" boyfriends and girlfriends?
You think we live in some 10th-world, African-jungly, nomadic, 'settlement', where children are treated worse than diseased cattle all in the name of 'upbringing'? Never let a so-called 'boyfriend' or 'girlfriend' come between you and your daughter please. Experience is always the best teacher, without all the bush, ITK, African mentality of "I told you so. . .blah, blah, blah. . . ."(Especially when most of YOU had boyfriends and girlfriends at age 6 months or less )!!!
She has a mind,. . .and has been instructed(I mean well schoooooooooled on how to use it. . . ) on what to do. . . . as in how to make/keep/discard friends(boyfriends or GIRLFRIENDS).
Sooooooo, that is her business. I am only AN instructor/guide/support/resource person in her life(the job of real parents. . . .not meddlesome, frustrated, psychotic terrrorists looking to pepertrate the cycle of abuse/misery they experienced as children themselves by trying to relieve their wasted youths/old-age in their children's lives. . . with some booooolsheet religion/tradition/culture too).
I have done my part. . . . by setting the BEST example. The rest of the social-education process is hers to experience and ENDURE.
The reason men(real fathers) should pay special attention to their daughters NOT THE WOMEN! You would not be pondering on such a question. Don't be an absentee 'dad' or semen-donor!
Yup! I am my daughters' dad.

Islam › Re: Curious About Islam,facts About Islam. by ifyalways(op): 4:28pm On Feb 21, 2011 |
Lagosboy: I would like to discuss the issue of apostacy and capital punishment in islam as i came across a thread in the politics section regarding this and perhaps we could discuss it here.
In islam any apostate is not to be killed and there is evidence in the time of the Prophet PBUH where someone changed his faith and was not killed in anyway.
The only instance where an apostate is killed is the instance of an islamic state , where someone changes side and begins to work against the state. This act is punishable under all laws of all modern countries. In the US it is called treasonable felony punishable by death or long jail sentence - example is John Walker Lindh who was US citizen and fought against the US in battle. In the UK it as an offence, In Nigerias law Treasonable felony is death sentence.
1400 years ago the Islamic state in Medina was newly established and the same law applied to anyone. Then, the oath of allegiance was to the state and you are free to choose your religion as the quran says in Q2 v 256 "Let there be no compulsion in religion". There were Jews and christians living under the state with full rights and priviledges. Death penalty was only prescribed on someone that switched side and worked with external agressors against the state.
I do accept some muslims dont help matters when they have the opinion that anyone switching sides should be killed. This opinion has no basis in islamic legal theory.
And God knows best! Priceless Information LeoChinedu: THOU HAVE SPOKEN THE TRUTH!
Your bridge-building effort and the awareness of the truth of Islam gladens my heart.
It's high time we break rank with unfounded traditions and make recourse to "the Quran and the examples of the prophet". Kedu Chinedu? |
