Phones › Re: Nokia Phones And The Nigerian Warranty by ifyalways(f): 5:43pm On Jan 28, 2011 |
amasha: When purchasing your Nokia Device from the stores, always insist on a Nigerian Warranty Phone. Some dealers could give you phones which don't have the Nigerian Warranty but if you insist you'll have the warranty phones.
To check if your Nokia Device comes with a 12 month Warranty in Nigerian before you buy.
STEP 1: Get the IMEI number. You can find it on the sales box, on the label under the battery,or by typing *#06# on the phone.
STEP 2: Type IMEI, leave a space, then your IMEI number and send to 32053. Example: IMEI 358260030006025
STEP 2: You will receive an SMS that tells you if your phone has valid 12months Nigerian Warranty.
REMEMBER: Warranty doesn't cover Wear and tear, users defects, defects caused by bending, dropping, liquid damage, defects caused by unauthorised phone engineers, etc Does this work for all service providers or is this for a specific provider |

chakula: 3. Abandonment of the congregational prayer in the masjid by able men either regularly or on occasion. The commandment has been given to perform the salaah in congregation in the masaajid. Congregational (al-jamaa’ah) salaah is a duty except for those who have a valid excuse according to the sharia’h. The Messenger of Allah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam) said: Whoever hears the call (al-adhaan) and thereafter does not answer it (i.e. attend the congregational salaah) there is no salaah for him except for a valid excuse. [Reported by Ibn Maajah and others with a strong chain (isnaad) and Al-Haafith Ibn Hajar said “Its chain is according to the conditions of Muslim”]. Allah ta’aala also says: And bow down with those who bow down. {Al-Qur’aan 2:43] In a hadeeth in Al- Bukhaari and Muslim (mutafaqun ‘alaih): …I would then leave (after tbe salaah has begun) and go to those men who do not attend the salaah and burn their houses down over them. Can you please explain, not sure abt what this means. |

uplawal: This present Jos crises has made me to talk,i have decided not to but just to leave you guys with your weak and gullible minds, trying to please people and compromising the Quran with other religion. I just see no reason why its a crime or a terrorist idea when the Ummah prepare the able bodied youth for present or future war occurrence war,its only a wicked weak muslim that would brand it terrorism, you call it terrorism or its makes you cringe while your brothers are made into suya,or your sisters violated and thier homes taken from them, did Allah ever say we should fold arms and watch them destroy us?wallahi you people will answer to all you said concerning that. You all feel if you fight your enemies or prepare to fight them is termed terrorism,if thats so,then keep mopping while your generation wipe out before we all come to our senses.I refuse to be part of people that believe in some part and dnt believe in the other path. All i want you hypocrite muslims to know,if you cant actually understand it well from my post on other thread is that,my intention and what i wrote there does not in any manner signify acts of terrorism but prevention/preparation of oneself or group from the enemies,as they say prevention is better than cure.
IMAGINE,FIVE MOSQUES BURNT AND THOUSANDS OF HOMES AND PEOPLE DIED, all i can say again is shame to the Muslim Ummah who will term this war/crises as tribal. This is coming from a fellow woman? My prayer is this and wud always remain this, anyone preparing or anticipating war either within the deen, state or country,May the war start from the person head then end in his family.Amin Cheei, are we allergic to peace olanajim: Can seun put like and unlike button on nailand so that we can just stop dissipating our energies on usless posts by clicking "unlike" at least such posters will get the message faster than when we reply lmao |

Romance › Re: It Is Now Illegal To Solicit unclothed Pictures Via Blackberry Messenger by ifyalways(f): 11:36am On Jan 27, 2011 |
Mobsync: Lagos – Precedence has been set in a Lagos High court ruling making it illegal to solicit unclothed pictures via BB.
In a suit brought against a Mr Okafor of Ebutemeta, by his aggrieved girlfriend, Miss Iyabo of Matori, the presiding judge ruled in favour of the plaintiff, agreeing that it amounted to sexual harassment and intimidation for the defendant to persistently ask the plaintiff to take unclothed pictures of herself with the Blackberry Bold he bought for her, and send same to him via blackberry messenger.
Giving witness at the hearing, Miss Iyabo claimed that the plaintiff had earlier promised her a Blackberry phone, but unbeknownst to her he had ulterior motives when he agreed to the expensive largesse.
Barely able to concede her contempt, Miss Iyabo told the court:
“When he say he will buy me the phone, I have to remind him many times until finally he buy it. And every time I ask, he will just tell me that they have not yet pay him his salary and I should wait, so me too I begin to hold back things from him. When he ask me for sex, I will tell him they have not yet pay me my bursary. Then he begin to take me seriously.”
She claimed she began to grow suspicious of his intentions when he finally bought her the phone.
“One day like that, he phone me on my nokia that I should come and sleep in his house. Me I tell him that we wont do anything o, but he said he have a surprise for me, so I went there.
“On getting there, he show me the phone he have bought for me and I tell him that they have finally paid my bursary. But in the morning when I’m preparing to go home, he only give me the battery of the phone. He said he would give me the charger next time, and after that he would give me the manual, then later he would give me the box, then he would give me the phone.”
Laughter erupted in the courtroom as the plaintiff narrated her cunning boyfriend’s ploy. But her travails did not end there. Haven bought her the phone and giving it to her, battery- case, charger and all, Mr Okafor developed a habit of always asking for explanations when he called and she didn’t answer her phone on time. When she objected to his insinuations, he would quickly remind her that he had bought her the phone after all.
This continued for a protracted period of time until she was posted to Gombe for her youth service and Okafor’s request became even more bizarre. He started to call her at odd hours, asking her to send him ‘sexy’ pictures of herself.
According to Miss Iyabo, she obliged him the first few times, but when he began to insist on seeing ‘all or her’ every morning, she decided that enough was enough.
“He only buy me common phone and now he want me to be sending him sexy photo all the time,” she lamented to the court.
Delivering judgement, Judge T.T Immaculate said to the plaintiff:
“Out of crafty an inventive means, you have devised to keep your partner under unnecessary duress and manipulation. While this court may not grant the plaintiff her prayer to have you imprisoned, it is my personal conviction that men like you should not be allowed to have girlfriends, lest they procreate.
"You are hereby ordered to desist from making further lewd demands from the plaintiff or any other women, and you are to compensate her with a new Blackberry Torch and a months worth of BIS access."
This ruling has since made a lot of male Nigerian’s very uncomfortable indeed.

chakula: 2. Delaying the salaah from its appointed time. This is a violation according to the word of Allah ta’aala: Verily the salaah has been appointed for the believers at specific times (mawqoot). [Al-Qur’aan 4:103] Al-Mawqoot indicates a specific appointed time and the postponement of sallah beyond the obligatory time (fardh) is a major sin and Allah is the one upon Whom we depend. On the authority of Anas who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam) saying: This is the salaat of the hypocrite (munaafiq); when he sits observing the sun until it is between the horns of Shaitaan, then he stands to perform four (rak’ah) remembering Allah little. [Muslim] If this is the salaah of the hypocrite then what of the salaah of someone who postpones the prayer until the complete period of the salaat has passed without any excuse? Im soo guilty of this.My husband has set salaah times alarm on my digital Quran to help but i still fail sometimes,I need God's help. |
